Our family really enjoyed our time here. We booked a cup noodle making session in advance through their website and paid at Lawson convenience store to secure the spot. It was a fun experience especially for our two young kids since after the cup noodle making, they also played at the kids indoor play place and ended up with some nice noodles in the building. Overall, my two young kids had lots of fun.

So much fun and informative about instant noodles. Make sure you get there early in the day to get a ticket to make your own cup noodle and to make the chicken ramen noodle you have to book online. Booking is available 90 days in advance. We went too late in the day and missed the chance to make our own cup noodle. Lots of picture opportunities ans even a noodle cafe atthe top with a theme park. Doesn't hurt you get to see the cruise ships pull in too.

We found this place while exploring Yokohama. What a find! Although this place is geared towards kids, the adults will enjoy it, too, especially if you grew up eating instant noodles. For an extra cost you can make your own custom made cup noodles. Above there is a food court with ramen noodles from other countries, e.g. Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, etc.

Loved this place! Very creative portrayal of the history of cup noodles. Mainly enjoyed the History Cube and making our own cup noodles Price is also great - 500 yen per adult to enter, 500 yen per cup noodle made (limit 1 per person)! We didn’t get tickets in advance because we couldn’t figure out the Lawson Loppi system. But we still got to enjoy the museum when we arrived. We recommend checking the website at 10 the day of to make sure there’s still availability if you want the chicken noodle experience.

I’m a ramen fanatic and have had 20 ramens on my trip. So of course I had to go to the ramen museum. It did not disappoint. I learned so much about ramen and that every city had its own version. That allowed me to seek out new ramens in every city. You can make your own custom ramen for 1000 yen and you can visit their food court with 8-10 ramen restaurants. It was very crowded with Japanese tourists bc it was a Saturday and I don’t like waiting in line. I went to the shortest line and got what I paid for. It was an average ramen but I’m sure some of the other Resturant’s were better. It’s a little out of the city so you need some time to get th

An interesting museum which highlights the history of the creation of instant cup noodles and the founder's inspiring journey. Recommend to visit before lunch/early afternoon as customized cup noodles may run out later in the day. Visited in May 2023.

A really nice and wonderful museum dedicated to the work of momofuku ando. Be sure to go to the mini movie theatre, it’s all in Japanese but the scene really capture the history of Nissin. Souvenir shop at level 1 has lots of great stuff too, bought the number 1 good which was a bean sponge cake and it was really good. Some thing are sold out the cup noodle factory was fun too, just lots of people. Need to collect queue number so come a little early to get your ideal/earlier time slot, once all queue number are given out it’s sold out on that day. Chicken noodle factory requires advance booking on their website. The eatery has lots of noodles based food with international flavours. Be sure to try out the Tom yum, Pho and the spaghetti ones, really tasty. For dessert, must try the cup noodles ice cream!!! It’s an indescribable taste, sweet creamy ice cream with salty savouring toppings. Surely one of the most unforgettable ice cream I ever had. Overall a really fun and unique experience, can spend 2-3 hours here and really near from Tokyo too. Highly recommended!!

A fun museum all about the origins of instant ramen! Surprising amount of history and innovation behind the humble food. The museum does an amazing job of explaining this history, with lots of interactive bits and pieces. Unfortunately, we weren't able to make our own custom cup noodles at the factory as tickets do sell out (so book ahead!). They've also got a cute noodle dining hall where you can have noodle dishes from different parts of the world. Overall a fun experience for any cup noodle lover!

Very cute place and lots of fun exhibits. I would say if you’re wanting to make your own cup noodles make sure to dedicate a few hours to be here. We were only visiting briefly and the next time available was 2 hours after the time we arrived so we weren’t able to make them.

Not really that exciting unless you're buying the "make your own cup noodle experience". It wasn't even a matter of things not also having English Translations (google translate worked fine for this). That being said, if you cannot read Japanese, you'll need Google Translate for most of the displays with words. It's just, kind of lacking. There's a lot of blank space on most walls. The information and exhibits that are there are really nice though. The wall with the display of Cup Noodles over time was really neat, though. Just seemed like it was something that could use more. Probably more exciting for kids than adults, since there are more activities for kids to do.

An enjoyable experience especially if you are fan of instant noodles. The museum consists of exhibitions showcasing the history of Cup Noodles and its inventor Momofuku Ando, fun activities and a food hall serving noodles from different parts of the world. The exhibition was presented in a cool minimalistic style that it felt like an art exhibition. The entrance fee was affordable at 500 Yen per adult however it costs extra if you wish to partake in the various activities. The activity we went with was the My Cup Noodles Factory (an additional 500 Yen per person) which involved decorating and making your own Cup Noodles and that was a lot of fun.

My second time to the Cup Noodles Museum. It's really informative to know about the history of Cup Noodle. I hope the management can add in more detailed descriptions of the history. It's too brief to understand the real meaning behind it. The main highlight of the museum is to create your own Cup Noodle. Spent around 30 minutes to decorate my own Cup Noodle. LOL

We went as a family and had a great time making cup noodles from scratch for the first time. It was a 90 minute experience and we got through it with the English videos and instructions provided. The museum was made more for kids than adults and there are mostly Japanese kiddies with parents there.

Easy half day trip on own or with friends/family. Make your own custom cup noodle and go have lunch at the bazaar where you can purchase small bowls of noodles from various countries. Have fun and enjoy!
