Great museum with something special. If you are in you feel the atmosphere. If you are in Ho Chi Minh you have to see that. 10/10

A very good history lesson to learn for Americans next generation not to make a same mistake. Indeed it's a very sad place to visit. Feel deeply sad when u see the casualty of war.

A must see to understand just how terrible the American war was on the Vietnamese people. Difficult to look at some of the photographs but important to understand the history. I hope Vietnam continues to see peace.

Great museum that documents the aftermath of war. The gallery dedicated to the war photographers was amazing especially to a person who appreciates good photography. Very powerful images. There is definitely some graphic content but it is a museum about war and if there is ever an appropriate place to show them it is here.

The War Remnants Museum in Saigon showcases the harsh reality of war. The pictures and presentations displayed are extremely powerful and left me feeling emotional. It's a must-visit location when in Saigon, as it provides a deep understanding of the impact of war on society.

To the visitors: I suggest visiting before visiting the reunification palace to better understand the significance of the dates and events. Expect a detailed, informative, extremely sad recollection of the years of war that affected the nation. It was truly eye opening and definitely a must for everyone. Amenities: There's a cafe downstairs and a wending machine but nothing up the floors. Each floor had well maintained toilets. Cash only for admission tickets and wedding machine. To the organisation: thank you for your hard effort

One of the best museums in Vietnam, it has all the war history and it surely takes you back to the time when it all happened. Everything is captured in pictures and lots of proof of atrocities. Must visit to understand what are the impacts of wars.

Incredible museum. Did the audio tour, was enlightened to everything. The tour information is very 1 sided, but that's the tight of the museum as its based on their country and their history. It has made me interested to find out more. G

A sombre memory of the war history, told from the Vietnamese perspective. Dedicate about 3+ hours to thoroughly go through the artefacts, photos, and anecdotes. 5 stars not because it was an enjoyable visit, but because it was really impactful. Children or young adults should be accompanied by adults, as majority parts of the museum has vividly displayed the horrors of war.

This place is a living remnant of the dead. Countless lives lost to pointless torture and tyranny of the Americans in 60s to 80s. The sheer amount of force in the form of tanks, planes, armored vehicles and missiles, bombs, bullets.. to silence people in their own homeland. It is simply horrible to walk through the museum and not fill humanity's failures at large through the destruction of war. Sadly because the war happened in recent years, a lot of photographic evidence is available and you will feel it in your gut when you see those horrid photos. After visiting this museum, the outlook on life and death is bound to change. And I hope the visit motivates you to be more kind, more caring and more sympathetic to other humans.

It was a great way to learn about Vietnam's side in the past war. The museum was well organized. It is very spacious and had 10 exhibits when we visited. We visited on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't crowded. The price of the tickets were reasonable

Excellent collection of artifacts, and incredible display of how brutal the war was. The photography section was an eye opener. I spent over 4 hours in the museum. I'd suggest you allocate a minimum of 2 hours for the museum. Parking is available on the location itself. There's also a small cafe inside the museum.

Excellent museum! Best one I've been to in Vietnam. Everything is well translated into English and detailed to help you understand. The layout of the museum begins on the top floor and the rooms are numbered for you to follow. The photography exhibition is stunning! There are graphic pictures that may be upsetting for some adults or kids. But it is a MUST SEE. So much to see, read and learn. Price was 40k per ticket at the gate, incredibly reasonable.
