Can't miss the iconic grandeur of this architectural world class beauty. We saw Amalia Hernandez' Ballet Folklorico. Pictures cannot do this performance justice. Incomparable. The costumes, beauty, choreography, music, and dance evoke cultural emotion like no other. I've seen many performances all over the world. I would come back to CDMX just to see this show again. Thank you Amalia.

The Palacio de Bellas Artes is definitely one of the most breathtaking buildings I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of amazing architecture in Mexico City. It's truly a masterpiece and a testament to the beauty and grandeur of this incredible city.

Mexican Folklore Ballet was excellent. It’s a must see when visiting Mexico City. I thought it was going to be a ballet slow not moving at all I was wrong. It was one of the best shows that I’ve seen on stage for music and entertainment. An hour and 45 minute show time but flies by as you see almost every culture with their colors native outfits and dancing to their music. Very upbeat.

Amazing! Possibly the greatest show on earth? Beautiful venue! Great sound! Extremely well directed... I love Mexico City!

Although the building itself is undeniably stunning, my experience at the museum left me somewhat perplexed. While the exhibition and murals that I did get to see were impressive, I couldn't help but feel puzzled by the abundance of five-star ratings I had come across prior to my visit.

Looks amazing at night. Haven’t gone in yet. You can get a good view from Sears 7-8th floor which is right opposite.

What a beautiful concept of a palace dedicated to the fine arts. The building itself is a work of art and is decorated with murals by the Mexican greats. It’s a museum, a theater, a gallery, and a dance venue. Frida Khalo, Diego Rivera and many of the great Mexican artists and performers have been honored here in life and in death.

Bellas Artes is a mandatory visit for me each time that I go to Mexico City, the great Tenochtitlán. I was afraid that Amalia Hernandez’s ballet was going to be very similar to the performance we saw 4 years prior, but they made significant changes. This resulted in enough novelty and a very nice artistic experience. The dance and the customs were amazing. The music, unfortunately, was not, as they lacked a live orchestra. The venue is an architectural gem with a very rich history. Mexicans and foreigners alike should pay a visit to Bellas Artes!

The building is beautiful and it has a very interesting history behind it’s construction. The murals inside are stunning

Visiting this museum dedicated to Mexico's artists/muralists is a must. Along with adjacent park and many local museums makes a great day out. For serious art lovers, it can take a few days to appreciate. Little explanation is given in English. Google the artists and individual paintings to better understand the revolutionary history. The building architecture inside and out is magnificent. Older visitors go free.

This is a very interesting building. It is beautiful to behold both from within and from without. It is somewhat eclectic architecturally, being classicist and Art Nouveau in its exterior and Art Deco in its interior, but who cares! The building is beautiful and it serves its purpose well. It features frescoes by Diego Rivera and others, as well as a spectacular stained glass domed roof. It is the home to Ballet Folklorico. Inside one will find the usual gift shop and café. Restrooms on the other hand are really hard to spot, as a matter of fact I could not find them at all....

The museum has some really cool murals. That alone was worth seeing. Especially on Sunday because admission was free. And who doesn't love free! But to be honest. The rest of the pieces they displayed was kinda meh! Of course art is in the eye of the beholder. So take that with a grain of salt. So it loses a star for the art. But it loses another star for the security. I have toured an Aircraft carrier and a prison. Both had less security. Literally there was a guard every ten feet. Barking directives at visitors as they walked by. It was quite unsettling. I spent more time worrying I was standing in the wrong place than enjoying the art.

This church is so beautiful. Was built in the 1500s and is a must see! The detail, the architecture, the historical significance makes it a must. We had the pleasure of seeing a wedding. Just make sure you don't take pics of any events going on; I got yelled at

Beautiful! A must see… go into Sears … yes I said Sears across the street from the front of the building, take the elevator to the 8th floor and there is a cafe that overlooks the building. I took the picture from there. China town is a 2 minute walk from here, also the post office famous for its architecture is 2 minutes too. Alameda park is work a stroll through as well

Absolutely exquisite! I feel the Mexican culture has such a richness and vibrancy to it. You can see it in their art. The vast murals capture the past, the history, the struggle, the temples, the gods. It weaves all of life together in depth and beauty!

This was one of the most memorable experience in my visit to Mexico City. We visited the Palacio de Bellas Artes during the weekend and saw a Ballet Folklorico de México show. It was a very emotional performance and the venue completely immersed you. The building’s architecture is stunning. The shows are almost always sold out, so you should either purchase your tickets in advance or arrive at least two hours before the show.
