My husband and I had an incredible experience visiting Space Center Houston. From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the fascinating exhibits and interactive displays. The highlight was definitely the chance to see the historic Mission Control Center and learn about the incredible achievements of the space program. Walking through the exhibits showcasing actual spacecraft and equipment used by astronauts was awe-inspiring. The tram tour to NASA’s Johnson Space Center was a definite must-do, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the facilities where astronauts train. The whole experience was educational, inspiring, and left us with a profound appreciation for the achievements of space exploration.

We had a blast on our trip to the Houston Space Center! Highly recommend adding the Mission Control tour to your tickets— it was a really cool experience. Be prepared to walk up 4 flights of stairs though! You can easily spend an entire day (or two) at the space center exploring all of the different displays, exhibits, and buildings. There is a cafeteria style eatery on site which had pretty good food and a nice variety of food and drink options. Definitely worth the trip!
I had a nice visit at Space Center Houston, Johnson Space Center is where everything started before Kennedy Space Center even existed. You can learn lots about space exploration in this place and the many rockets and space shuttles and even the many different space suits. You can learn about the many different astronauts and the moon and Mars, and other planets in this place. There were lots of school buses when I was there. Lots of kids from different schools, apparently there for a field trip.
The best place to learn about NASA. It takes a whole day to cover the space center. They show, old, new and future missions to the moon, mars and beyond. The ticket include tours to mission control station, Rocket park, and astronaut training facility. Its a good place to learn about space missions of NASA, and space technology. They have a good cafeteria so you do not need to go out if you are planning to spend the day. Tour guides are extremely helpful and there is a cart system (its a guided tour) that takes you to inside buildings such as old mission control. A super interesting place worth visiting and spending your whole day. Good for kids as well.

So much to see! I'd recommend a bit of planning and arrive early if you want to do a tram tour as they fill quickly! Also be prepared for lots of people. They have a nice food court but we took a bottle of water with us as the vending machine was $3.60 for 1 bottle! Water fountains are available. It was quite educational and fun

Visited again after many years. What a great place. So much to do and see. Lots of educational exhibits. Great gift shop. Food cost was really good considering the captive audience. Come for the day. The tram tours fill up so need to book those virtually as soon as you can. It can get crowded.
This place is amazing, would recommend coming when it first opens. We got there by 930am and there was a line on a Saturday already. We reserved the blue tram when we got inside and did the tour which was super fun. Some I had little ones doing the blue tram was a better option. Also, I recommend bringing cash. The gift stores credit card machines were not working and we couldn’t get nothing. Next time, we will be more prepared. Wish we could have deep dived every corner but having toddlers it was kinda hard. Pro tip of photos, utilize your panorama setting on your phone. You’ll be able to be in the picture with rockets. Have walking shoes and water on hand. They don’t allow selfie sticks or extra camera set ups.
Fascinating place filled with an immense amount of knowledge and information! Whether you’re a space enthusiast or not, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy. The facility is neatly organized and laid out with various sections and areas. Additionally, maps and employees are everywhere to assist with navigating. Tickets are very reasonably priced and allows for free roam to choose what activities/exhibits you would like to visit. The only restriction is how much time you have to spare. They have 3 itinerary plans that corresponds to how much time you would like to stay there - 2 hours, 5 hours, 7+ hours. The choice is yours! The only recommendation for change with the facility is to make the prices for photographs more reasonable. Upon entering, everyone gets a group photo taken (which we all know those are never FREE). In fact, they’re $30 here, which is essentially the price of another entry ticket which is absolutely asinine. Many people were just taking pictures of the kiosk screen of the group photo instead of buying it which I don’t blame them.
My family and I visited the Space Center in Houston and it was great! Staff were courteous and helping and the facilities were very clean! We purchased the City Pass because we were only in the area for Spring break so we used it for other venues. The wait was fast. Literally, never stopped walking through the line until we arrived at purse check and then again to scan the electronic tickets. We went on a Tuesday. We spent all day there and still did not see everything. Get Tram and virtual rides tickets early because they sell out fast. The exhibits were very interesting and kept our 10 year-old daughter engaged. The two virtual rides were awesome. It was as if we were truly in space. Loved it!! We all left with huge smiles on our faces and vowed it was well worth the money and will be on our list to return to.
