Experiencia fantástica: A visit to Lope de Vega's house is highly recommended. Starting with the reservation, being by email, you would not imagine that they answer you so quickly and efficiently and, furthermore, it is free. What else to not miss the opportunity to meet her?... Well yes, there are many more things... It is a house full of treasures, where you can breathe the most valuable treasure: culture. Special thanks to Gema, the guide who received us, attended us and introduced us to this walk through the Golden Age, and who managed to infect us with her enthusiasm.

Experiencia fantástica: Even if unkown for many people, Félix Lope the Vega was one of the greatest geniouses of the Spanish Literature, together with Cervantes. This house was his last home and is one of Madrid's treasures, since is one of the few places from the XVIth still preserved in the city. Ever after going under a deep restoration, you can still see how a "good house" was in the Madrid of the Hapsburgs. And it's free! The only "but" it can only be seen with a guided tour that you must book in advance, since only 12 people are allowed to visit it at a time and the groups fill up quickly. If not, you can always see the nice and romantic orchard, recreated exactly as it was at the times of Lope.

Experiencia fantástica: A very interesting, professional, and free of charge tour, also private and in small groups.

Experiencia fantástica: In our case we did the family activity with children, which apart from being free, you get to kill 2 birds with one stone, the children are entertained and the adult enjoys too. The family activity consists of a visit to the house, with guessing games and looking for objects, and then an activity to be carried out. Special mention to the guide and master of ceremonies that we had on Saturday, October 22, who was able to deal perfectly with the children, making them have a good time, while we adults learned some history. Chapo.

Experiencia fantástica: Lope de Vega lived here. They are not the original furniture, but it is reconstructed with furniture and books from the time. Nice to see. You have to make an appointment in advance, they are guided tours. Admission is free

Experiencia fantástica: I recommend requesting an appointment for your visit. The visit is made in small groups of about 15 people. The museum house has a small patio-garden with a well and centenary trees. The house is very well recreated with books and furniture from the period. It has several rooms, kitchen and chapel. It amazes the rooms and the rooms, especially that of their children. It is visited with a guide who recounts the life of Lope de Vega in that house. The visit is free.

Experiencia fantástica: Impossible to tell the story that houses this house with a garden. It is an obligation to go there, free admission and as if that were not enough, all this offers shows that are wonderful. Participate in Strings and Verses and Letters and Swords with theatrical output, a pleasure for the soul. With prior registration.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent free guided tour of about 35 minutes, with prior reservation for groups of about 15 people. Our guide, Adriana explained it perfectly, asking us questions and capturing our attention at all times. It helps you recreate life during the Golden Age with donations that are preserved from the time. Highly recommended site to visit.

Experiencia fantástica: House / museum of the playwright, writer LOPE DE VEGA. Let's start by saying that the guided tour costs nothing, but must be booked. This historic corner of the LAS LETTRAS district of Madrid is one of the little known gems of mass tourism.Of course, in the great museums there is important art ... but in the small corners like this there is the house, the original furniture which immediately reveals how people lived, what they did, why they did it !! So in this little visit we retrace the life and the uses of that time .... with explanations of details that make you understand the hidden whys of the things you are looking at ... intriguing this thing !!! If you really pay attention to your driving you will realize that when you go out ... you will miss an hour of your life. But you know very well where you've been !!! What can I say ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!

Experiencia fantástica: You have to book a guided tour that lasts half an hour. It is very much worth it. The blonde and young girl who showed us, explained it to us great and makes the visit super enjoyable. The house is recreated in a way that you feel totally in the time. A highly recommended visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Very interesting and instructive visit to learn a little more not only about the life of Lope de Vega, but also about the lifestyle and customs in Madrid at the time. Thanks to the guide Adriana for the visit so entertaining and full of curious anecdotes. I totally recommend visiting this house-museum, it is worth it and it is free. Of course, it is advisable to book in advance because it is a fairly busy place.

Experiencia fantástica: It was nice to see a glimpse of what simplicity in his abode could help achieve a man to express with profound thoughts that is still revered today. For this reason, a pen is indeed mightier than a sword. We were lucky to be received with grace by Ellena Arranz who upon our arrival was kind to accommodate us despite being tardy for our appointment due to an ailing daughter. Thank you! Harmony is pure love, for love is complete agreement. Lope De Vega

Experiencia fantástica: The house-museum of Lope de Vega is located in the street named after his competitor Cervantes! This contradict is only a glance of the busy exciting life of this pilar of Spanish literature, as it is told by the museum staff. I was super lucky to be the only one in the English guided tour, and had very special care, and one to one time, thanks to Iris! The house is full of stories in every single corner, and offers inside view to the daily life of baroque era. You should write an email or call for reservation before the visit for confirmation. Free entrance. Young, full of energy team, with inspiring vibes around. Don’t miss it.

Experiencia fantástica: Don’t miss English guided tour at 4.30 pm. It is worthy to experience authentic atmosphere, hear some interesting stories and see authentic furniture of city people from old times, beyond royalties and clerks. I recommend the museum with chill out garden

Experiencia fantástica: Nice tour with a very knowledgeable guide. If you want to learn not only about Lope de Vega’s life and work but also about life in the 16th century this is a good opportunity. It’s kid’s friendly and not too long so they don’t get bored. It’s a free tour, but you need to book it in advance because groups are small which I think makes the visit even better. Definitely recommend.
