Experiencia fantástica: Magical place. Recommended also for the kids due to “hand on” feeling and proximity in the workshop

Experiencia positiva: Fairly small, in reconstruction as of July 2022 and not very stroller/wheelchair friendly

Experiencia fantástica: A must for all art lovers! Great museum with access to the beach. Get some culture before walking down to the beach for some sun.

Experiencia fantástica: Well worth location for your Mallorca trip, Easily accesible by bus. The things available is very tiny and seeing Miro`s grandson having fun with your money kind of annoying!

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic museum with a sculpture garden and exhibits. Bus accessible from Palma. Don't miss the studio!

Experiencia positiva: Really nice museum and workshop! Be sure to check out the video in the amphitheater! 4 stars because I expected to see more of his creations (a big part of the museum was in renovation) and the t-shirts at the souvenirs shop were extremely expensive (30-50€)!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Once and again, a beautiful place to visit. Went in March 2022, unfortunately we couldn't visit the main house since they have been doing reformation work. Though the 2 studios and the garden were open, which is so worth a visit. You can feel Miró's presence.. We paid less entrance fee because of the reformation.

Experiencia fantástica: An amazing combination of museum and authentic creativity site to visit. the location itself is also cool, on a hill with views. A real experience to breath the space where Joan Miró was working and discover stories and his philosophy

Experiencia fantástica: Fantastic place even if most of the exhibitions are closed due repair and restore of a main part of the building. Highly recomended for everyone interested in art and architecture.

Experiencia fantástica: A tranquil place on top of the city with beautiful views and an excellent exhibition of Miró's work. Visited with my 8yo son who thoroughly enjoyed it.

Experiencia fantástica: Well worth a visit. Perhaps not as much work as you’d expect, but some great examples of works on canvas, lithos and large sculptures. His studios are really atmospheric and memorable.

Experiencia fantástica: One of the most beautiful art museum I've ever been to, everything was amazing - the architecture, exhibition and also the garden.

Experiencia fantástica: Well worth a visit. Beautiful building houses the gallery and it is full of interesting pieces. Not just the Miro Picasso and Dali, many current Spanish artists. It’s free to go in which makes it an easy decision. The wooden sculpture pictured is a lovely re-imagining of Matisse’s cut outs by Manuel Valdes.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful museum by Rafael Moneo--the interiors are stunning and beautifully complements the art, from the dappled light through the stone to the way spaces blend and interweave. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Palma. The Sert studio is lovely as well. make sure to go around and check out the yard to get a better look at the roof and the interior mezzanine. the site offers beautiful views of the city. the gardens and bathrooms could be better maintained.

Experiencia fantástica: We tried to walk there one evening from the City Centre. After 40 mins we reaslised that we were not going to make it before closure so we turned back and went to Bellver Castle instead. Two days later we took a bus to the museum from the centre. The place is easy to get to. The museum is worth a visit. Children were admitted free of charge which was a bonus. We had an enjoyable visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Incredible to see his studio untouched as he left it. Highly recommended and has a nice cafe that does good coffee too.

Experiencia fantástica: It's really special Museum, we loved it found out lots of interesting things and Miró was a special guy. Would recommend watching the documentary after the museum or before it makes you understand even more. But I think everybody just living here would be creative

Experiencia fantástica: An art museum you should visit during your stay in Mallorca. An unforgettable experience for those who love Miró paintings and sculptures. As you walk and see his artworks, you get a feeling of artist's presence speaking to you... You can also watch a first person narration film about his moving to Mallorca and the construction of his dream-laboratory, as well as his vision about the message his works would convey to people. You can afterwards live this exceptional moment when you stand before his laboratory, as he left it with his tools, brushes and many of his unfinished paintings all around.

Experiencia fantástica: Beautiful place and surroundings. House and studios of Joan Miró are definitely worth visiting! A lot of paintings and some of the sculptures, but the “atmosphere” is the most important.

Experiencia fantástica: If you are interested in one of the most iconic Spanish artists from the XX century, this is a place you need to visit. Nice collection of paintings and sculptures of Joan Miró

Experiencia fantástica: Magical museum with architecture nearly as captivating as artwork.

Experiencia fantástica: If you like modern art, a visit to Miro’s studio and collection is a must. You will be transported into a different world with his paintings that look like cryptic alien symbols. Plus great views of the Mallorca bay from the studio. And on Sunday, entrance is free.

Experiencia fantástica: This Foundation is a jewel. This space is the perfect container for Mirò artwork; it talk the same language. It is a perfect relation between air, sand and Mallorca spirit.

Experiencia fantástica: The aura of the place is simply amazing. Watch the video about Miro’s atelier first before you get inside it and then you can understand better why the place is so unique and special. The museum is also very beautiful in terms of architecture and collection. The staff are super nice and helpful. This place impressed me!

Experiencia fantástica: Tranquility absolute peace and the majesty of Joan Miro can still be felt. Do not miss this amazing place. The café was also brilliant, really good sandwiches and cakes and the best coffee.

Celia Thompson 4 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: Much more interesting than I expected. It was lovely to be able to see his actual places of work, particularly the building that was designed by a friend of his. Very nice gift shop and perfectly pleasant cafe. But the best part? There's a pool/pond where there are turtles swimming around!

Experiencia fantástica: Visit home and studio of Miro, enjoy gallery of paintings and outdoor gardens and spectacular views of Mediterranean Sea.

Antonello Caboni 4 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: Interesting and relaxing. The setting is beautiful and the views are amazing, but the quality of the information provided is not as good as in the Miró Foundation in Barcelona.

christopher rogers 4 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: If you like surrealism and art history it's wonderful. It's even better if you're a senior ( cut price entrance ) and the cafe is good. Well worth a visit.

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful exhibition in a great building. Nice and quiet so a good time of year to visit.

Experiencia fantástica: I was at the museum during off season and able to leisurely stroll around the grounds and really enjoy the ambiance. This was Miró's home for the last 40 years of his life. You can't tour his home - where his nephew still lives, but you can tour both of his studio spaces as well as the museum and sculpture gardens...which are all spectacular. The thought of sitting in the same spaces where Picasso came to visit his good friend was inspiring. And taking the time to really look at the stories and the photos - priceless. This is a must stop for any art enthusiast travelling through Palma.

Experiencia fantástica: I really enjoyed my visit to this art gallery. The space itself is modern and a lot of thought has clearly gone into where and how the pieces are presented. The garden with sculptures is also great, and there are benches to sit and reflect or read. Highly recommended.

Experiencia fantástica: It's worth the short hike up a hill to this museum of the artist's work where you can see his work space and a lot of his sculptures and paintings. The architecture is fine, too. It is worth an afternoon to wander around. There are some fine views of the coastline below. There are chairs outside in the garden for a rest where you can still see his artwork displayed below the palm trees.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved this museum, beautiful setting. Worth visiting!

Angelos Tsereklas-Zafeirakis 5 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: Inspiring visit ! The atmosphere is tranquil in a religious sense. The visit tour goes around 3 buildings + the foundation gardens, where Miro work or atelier setting is exhibited. In short ,we enjoyed art under Mediterranean sun in one of the most astonishing buildings ever designed !

Jay J. D'Lugin, MD, MS 6 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: The collection and the main museum building is nice. But if you don't walk up the hill to the studio and the outdoor spaces you've really missed the best part. So don't do that. In many ways the studio is more interesting than the collection of his work. The library is small but expertly curated.

Julian Bueno 6 years ago

Experiencia fantástica: Wonderful art. They also do other interesting cultural activities, so keep an eye on them!
