Expérience fantastique: Easiest 5 stars for a museum. This is a must visit for Amsterdam. Just take the free F4 ferry to the DSNM werf and it's a 5 minute walk (go towards the Anne Frank mural). So much amazing art in such a cool and fitting location. Level of the artwork is incredible and the pieces are huge. Under 13 entrance is free, till 18 it's €8,50 and €17,50 for adults. Worth every penny! Keep in mind that the place gets cold in winter, the building is too big to heat.

Expérience fantastique: Straat Museum exceeds all the expectations! Such a great space! Filled with fantastic pieces of grafiti and street art, it makes you appreciate these forms or art deeply. Although, it is always a good idea to buy tickets beforehand, surprisingly it didn’t matter at Straat museum as you wait in the same line with everyone else who are just buying the tickets.

Expérience fantastique: Best museum in Amsterdam I say. The ferry to get there from the central station is free. It's way less crowded than the 'big' museums. The art is spectacular. The space is big and open with nice music playing and a cafe. During our visit there was an artist painting a new giant mural that we got to watch. We spent hours here reading everything and getting lost in the art. I recommend this over all the other museums we went to during our trip.

Expérience fantastique: An absolute must-see! They did such a great job converting this space and capturing the spirit of the surrounding community and elevating it. What a great collection to embody an art form that is not usually recognized, relate it to 5 types of aesthetics that are visually purposeful to make spectators appreciate and relate to at least 1 piece within the walls. This will be a visit every and any time I am near Amsterdam to see whatever giant works of art are rotating through. Was lucky enough to watch an artist creating his work of art live. And for those that partake in coffee shops or smart shops, a visit to enhance the visuals may make it an even stronger visual experience.

Expérience fantastique: I went to the Straat museum on a sunny Saturday afternoon with my teenage son. I expected it to be nice but was still surprised. The place is huge and has quite a large collection. The art is beautiful and is exposed in a great way. I even loved the museum store. The price is ok, it's a shame they don't accept the museum card as of now.

Expérience fantastique: STRAAT is a great addition to the already elaborate selection of museums that Amsterdam has to offer. The raw feeling of the welding hangar and the huge sizes of the artworks give STRAAT an unique feeling. Tip, plan your visit and adjust what you're wearing. Our visit was in the winter, there's no heating so it's cold. I can imagine that in the summer it could be a bit warm inside.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful street art of all kinds on display in an old large warehouse, they have lockers for you to keep your stuff in while you look around, the place is impressive and showcases some serious talent and amazing pieces. The museum is easily accessible by a free ferry from Amsterdam central station which takes about 20 mins. Definitely worth the money and I would recommend to anyone who likes art in general

Expérience fantastique: This place is huge! I never knew street art had so much history. I learned a lot.

Expérience fantastique: Well worth the stop, and the guided tour was fabulous. Cafe was nice too. FYI it is not air conditioned so it was hot, but very worth it

Expérience fantastique: I'm not normally a 'guided tours' person in museums, but I'm glad I caught a tour at STRAAT. Our guide, Jodie, was super personable, and gave us a great deep dive into 8 of the pieces at the STRAAT over the course of an hour, and led some great discussion in our group. You'll definitely want to keep exploring on your own afterwards though. The STRAAT is by far the most vibrant museum I've visited. It feels very alive and authentic, even seeing the artwork outside it's 'natural' environment. Revisit areas you thought you've seen, and you'll find new details or hidden contributions. This place rocks!

Expérience fantastique: Incredible museum!!! It’s a must see if you are interested in graffiti. Also, the tour provided is fantastic for understanding about the artworks and the artists.

Expérience fantastique: Nothing less than amazing! A must visit while in Amsterdam. The hall is a perfect fit for the enormous paintings. Kids get a challenge to identify parts of the paintings, which added to everyone's experience. If you decide to visit, take the free ferry from Amsterdam central to the other side and then walk to the museum, because there are lot's of new beautiful buildings at the start of the walk. Avoid the Nxt Museum on the same route, it's very expensive and not worth the entrance fee (see my review of Nxt for more info). Straat is a masterpiece.

Expérience fantastique: I had an amazing experience visiting the SRTAAT muséum and it’s a must visit if you’re into street art or art in general whenever you’re in Amsterdam. The vibe of the muséum is totally different from everything I’ve experienced and there are so many photo-opps at the museum. There is a cafe right inside of it if you need to have a quick light snack. They host amazing events all year round which you can find on their website. I suggest to buy tickets to your the Museum at the location because it’s cheaper than buying online.

Expérience fantastique: Great spot! The place by itself is totally worth it, it used to be a Shipbuilding Company, so the magnitude makes it perfect to feature street art all over , even in two height levels. The art work is varied from all over the world.

Expérience fantastique: What an AMAZING idea and perfectly implemented too - This is the kind of place I could spend hours! Walk around once and then do it again slowly - It's surprising how many little details you miss... If I had to pick one very minor annoyance it would be that some of the higher up art is tricky to see properly depending on the light that day. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the Dam to see what has changed - Keep up the good work people!

Expérience fantastique: Wonderful! Visiting this place was such and amazing experience! The graffiti are speechless, some of them are more detailed and some are intentionally roughly made. It is beautiful to see as well all the techniques they use to paint. They represent several arguments with the graffiti from the anxiety to the homphobia to the pure happiness. As well the area around the museum is in the same mood with the museum. Once you get out of the museum you can see some artists doing graffiti.

Expérience fantastique: What an inspiring and interesting museum it is! The size of most of the pieces is huge so you can almost get lost studying the details. Make sure you read the stories/description of the art. I really loved that it’s in the hangar and has a very industrial vibe. I went with my 2 kids (5 & 3 y.o.) and they loved it, especially the interactive wall with music playing. Plan your visit making time for a stop at the cafe. It has stunning view over the museum. There is also a museum shop with some art & spray paint. There is a paid parking on the street (1.45€) right next to the museum.

Expérience fantastique: Easy to get to. Take the free ferry from central and walk from the port to the museum. If you like street art it's a must see. The art is great and they help educate on what street art is and the different types.

Expérience fantastique: Excellent experience. Fantastic street art. Learnt a lot about different concepts related to street art. The free ferry from Centraal Station to NDSM is fab. Cafe is relaxed, friendly.

Expérience fantastique: Very big hangar with artworks that are all immense. Most artworks are on a canvas, and are made with impressive skill. Was expecting it to be a nice museum, but was still surprised by the quality and magnitude of the works. Very well worth a trip to Amsterdam Noord!

Expérience fantastique: Great place to visit AAA From Amsterdam take a free ferry (every 15 min)

Expérience fantastique: Found it very interesting. Impressed by the sizes of the artworks. But also the history of the location is worth to know. The huge old factory hall is also a museum by itself.

Expérience fantastique: Wish we would have done the guided tour. Another reason to visit again. The artwork was mesmerizing considering the size of it. The depth, the color, the theme... each piece has its own personality and some truly thought provoking. Loved the space but it got cold ( make sure to bundle up if you go in colder months)

Expérience fantastique: Loved it. We did the guided tour and had a great hour exploring some of our guide's favorite pieces in the Street art Museum. Great guide and Fabulous museum. We didn't know much about the technical aspect of streetart vs graffiti and learned a lot. We also enjoyed walking around the museum afterwards to check all the other amazing pieces of art. Highly recommended

Expérience fantastique: Amazing place! I was a bit afraid that it would be gimmicky and a tourist trap (looking at you, Moco "museum") but it exceeded our expectations. Somehow we managed to spent 3 hours there but maybe that's not surprising at all given the quality of the art. We did the tour with Alex who was fun and knowledgeable so I highly recommend doing that as well. The building itself is just breathtaking and I am so happy that they chose it as a place to house the exhibition. Everything was top notch, hope that there will be some evenrs/workshops organized in the future, would love to join an event dedicated to street art.
