Expérience fantastique: It was well worth the visit, except the fact that the center ring is blocked off with tents for a winter event. The staffs were very friendly. Definitely a must visit.

Expérience fantastique: One day I will come to watch bull fighting. I did a project on Spain at school, what such culture they have. It sounds so fun. They also have some uuummmm looking foods. I would also want to run with the bulls, I will try my best to not get trampled. If you are planning a trip or looking if this is a good place just saying this is where I would go.. Only 15 can't wait till I'm 18 so I can go

Expérience fantastique: The whole history of bullfighting in Madrid. Even for non-enthusiasts, this is a very nice museum. Plus it's free! (Be careful not to confuse with the visit of the arenas, paying and expensive!

Expérience fantastique: A nice museum. Here you will first be aware of what bullfights look like. Everyone has their own opinion on that. Entry to the museum is free. We saved ourselves the lap through the arena after visiting the museum.

Expérience fantastique: Very interesting and an insight to the history of the bullfighting

Expérience fantastique: Lots to see here relating to the world of bullfighting . The exponents of the art are portrayed as heroes, of that there is no doubt. To question the validity of a bullfighter would be to question Spain itself. I am no fan of bullfighting but you cannot help but admire the bravado and straightforward cahunas of the masters of the ring

Expérience fantastique: The attention for all the workers has been wonderful. They make you feel as if you were in your own home. A spectacular visit that I recommend doing.

Expérience fantastique: A very nice place, explains everything very well. The only inconvenience is the insistence on taking a picture of us and then selling it since we had told them no, even so they kept insisting. Other than that, very nice.

Expérience fantastique: Museum, of course, will not leave anyone indifferent. Located on the same territory as the Arena. Getting there is convenient. Close to metro and bus stop

Expérience fantastique: Free museum located in the Ventas bull arena building. Inside, apart from the silhouettes of the most famous bullfighters, we can find decorative costumes of each of them that can be seen up close. On the lower floor, there is a room with combat visuals. A great place to visit Madrid on a budget. Pictures are not allowed in the museum.

Expérience fantastique: I am not a bullfighter, but it is worth visiting, it is the history of bullfighting, although I notice the lack of recent years, they should update recent events and figures. I liked it a lot It is free, when today there is nothing where entrance is not paid, perhaps they should charge something symbolic and have more surveillance

Expérience fantastique: The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas Bullfighting Museum is the bullfighting museum in the city of Madrid, Spain. It is located in the Plaza de Toros Las Ventas. In 2019, it reached a number of 120,000 visitors. (Wikipedia)

Expérience fantastique: It was one of our favorite programs during our visit to Madrid. There was also an interactive audio guide in several languages (English, German,...). I can definitely recommend it (also with children)! Not just a museum!

Expérience fantastique: What a great experience it was to visit Madrid's main bullfighting ring. It's a Spanish tradition and to understand bullfighting, you need to know Spanish history, that's a lot of history. In any case I truly enjoyed it and it's a short ride on the bus or metro from El Centro de Madrid.

Expérience fantastique: A signle floor museum, lovely animations and a meaningful summary of the history of bullfighting.

Ana María Barrado Orrite 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: A completely renovated museum that now has much more space for a very diverse collection with original bullfighting costumes, including the costumes that Manolete and Yiyo wore on the day of their death, authentic silk capes, paintings, including for example a work by Zuloaga, a bust by Benlliure ... Old and modern bullfighting posters, flags, rapiers and other objects, there is also an area with three enveloping screens to learn much more about the bullfighting world ... Following the route, you pass through the horse yard and from there you can see the arena of the most important arena in the world. The museum has covid protocol and has been open since August 2020 and is also completely free, with very friendly staff. It is worth visiting this museum to learn more about a sometimes unknown world that deserves an opportunity to be understood.

Expérience fantastique: Its huge and full of stories, each corner has a detail story. It's part of the culture of the country. Unfortunately cause of the Pandemie no events took place, only you can have an Audio guided tour. Which is absolutely fine to get to know more about this game, animals, heros, and the details of the building.

Expérience fantastique: Very pleasant atmosphere, ideal to learn more about Spanish culture, especially bullfighting. A lot of history can be seen in each of the works found, from paintings from the 18th century to the suit of lights that MANOLETE wore on the day of his death.
