Expérience fantastique: An interesting museum that offers a lot of interaction and let’s you discover science. I would say it is good for all ages, not only children.

Expérience fantastique: This is absolutely amazing museum (for kids and adults). We had a blast there, so many interactive items for whole family to learn something. Only minus (for which I won’t reduce number of stars) is a lack of English descriptions. With english explanations this would be world-class, unfortunately they opted not to have it for most of exibits so tourists are at disadvantage.

Expérience fantastique: I have been here for the European Reserchers' Night of 2022. My son had loads of fun - this place is just amazing, with a lot to learn for the little ones and for adults too. Absolutely recommend!!

Expérience fantastique: Probably the best museum I've been to in Barcelona. Really informative, but not in a dry way. The aquarium is great too. It's got a Planetarium as well, You can easily spend a whole day in there. The café and restaurant are good value for money and tasty food. A must see venue if you visit the city.

Expérience fantastique: Great museum for a cheap day out. Only €6 entry for each adult and hours of interactive fun for little one's. Particularly enjoyed the science sections on level -5. Cafeteria was also decent with a good selection of boccadillos, pasta and drinks.

Expérience fantastique: Great place! You have to ride a moment from the Barcelona center but its worth it. Perfect For visiting with Kids! A lot of fun and science. Incredible rainforest is waiting For You too

Expérience fantastique: Big museum with a lot of interactive content. From beginning of the universe, development of plant and animal life on earth to many human inventions and laws, you can find everything here. There is even a whole tropical forest ecosystem. You just have to check it out.

Expérience fantastique: A must-visit in Barcelona! The best science museum I've ever been to. There is so much to do, see and learn inside. The main floor is a large open space with interactive displays and informative staff. There are all sorts of things to learn about and enjoy which entertain all ages. At the back of that room is the flooded forest which becomes a wonderful experience - you walk under the rainforest like an aquarium and can even access the outside part where the birds are. Completely worth the 6 euro fee per person and under 15s go free! The café has a nice range of food and plenty of seating. Cosmo Caixa also has a planetarium and micrarium, though I did not try these. Just going for the flooded forest would be worth it in my opinion!

Expérience fantastique: Amazing for kids. One giant floor of interactive exhibits for a complete foundation in the sciences, with an insane six storey rainforest terrarium. Essential.

Denisa Gregorova 1 year ago

Expérience fantastique: amazing exhibits, but most of them in spanish/catalan. but for 6euros and the size and quality of the exhibits, it’s worth it. probably the best science oriented museum i’ve visited.

Expérience fantastique: Absolutely fantastic. One of the best museums I've ever been to. Everything is interactive so you learn in a fun way. Between the space attractions and underwater jungle there's something for everyone. Tickets are only 6 euro so it's one of the best value museums in Barcelona

Expérience fantastique: Museum is really big and very interactive. But they have like 5 floors and only have 2 floors with exhibition. The others are empty. See their website first before coming. They have lots of things going on, and you need to buy different tickets for those. My son is 4 years old and we had fun. They have cafe and buffet restaurant outside.

Expérience fantastique: This is one of the best science centres I've ever visited, and I've been to several. My kids had a blast, and I was really surprised that they were admitted for free. My entrance of €6 felt like a steal. We didn't participate in any of the activities, but saw a show at the Planetarium which my kids liked (shows and activities cost extra but are not expensive). Highlights were the interactive exhibits and the indoor rain forest exhibit.

Expérience fantastique: One of the best museums I’ve been to, definitely must visit in Barcelona. I’ve came to Barcelona 2 times and visited CosmoCaixa 2 times as well. Planned to go to planetarium but unfortunately english show was at 7 pm and we had a flight already. At 4 and 2 were Catalan versions only. Also enjoyed the shop with scientific toys and books a lot - it’s a place you want to take your kids to. This place makes everyone fall in love with science and get eager to learn more. So adorable ❤️

Expérience fantastique: An excellent science museum with a lot of interactive scientific exhibition items. Kids and grownups can spend several hours experiment and play with the interactive exhibitions while learning a lot about science. A bit pity that the solar part explanations are not in English so Google translate app work extra hours in that part. There are also small zoological parts. We came with teenagers so didn't participate at the Little kids activities but from the side it seemed the little one enjoyed

Expérience fantastique: Absolutely fantastic. The fossils and interactive displays were some of the best I have ever seen. Every single display has extreme thought put into it and is fascinating to people no matter the person's previous science knowledge. Both the depth and vastness of the different sciences are explored so there is something for everyone. With no exaggeration, I could've spent all day here. My only piece of advice: don't go on a weekend as far as crowds go. The people who worked on the exhibits and museum staff deserve a huge round of applause. Keep up the great work!

Expérience fantastique: Me and my friend went to this museum on a whim and we ended up loving it! The place was filled with so many intricate little experiments, fun for both kids and adults. As a scientist myself, seeing this museum made me so happy, as it teaches kids about science in a fun way and is exciting to see the next potential scientists. We also weren't expecting an indoor rainforest. It really took us by surprise because we only saw fishes on the glass window down below, but we look up and see tree's as well! We also went to watch the planetarium, the ticket price was affordable and like the museum, it's fun for both kids and adults. We were given an audio guide in English so and that helped us understand what was happening. The audio guide can also be found in other languages, I don't remember how many but from memory there was French and Italian, but also Spanish for those who're hard of hearing. Booking tickets online may deter tourists because the website to book museum tickets is only in Spanish, but we didn't have much trouble. Also we weren't able to buy the planetarium tickets online and were under the impression it was sold out, but were able to buy some tickets through the reception counter. If we had more time, we'd have come to the museum again to try out all of the mini experiments.

Expérience fantastique: The museum has very interesting history and inventions. There’s so much to learn about, from the evolution of the earth to the evolution of the human. I highly recommend coming to see this museum even if you’re not a science fanatic. After few hours exploring the museum we went to the cafeteria which at the museum, you don’t have to fully exit the place. Prices are convenient, I got a cup of tea with milk, 2 sandwiches for approximately 6€. The cafeteria is very clean and has outlets to charge your phone.

Expérience fantastique: What a wonderful way to spend a hot day! The science section downstairs was awesome and kept our teenager interested for several hours. And also the rainforest is well worth seeing. I highly recommend this place!

Expérience fantastique: This is a must see spot in Barcelona if you got kids or if you are into science. If you take your kids here they will be entertained for hours at a time. There are expositions related to the Sun, the universe, planet Earth, animals, physics and lots more. Also there is a huge mini Amazonian forest with live animals and a micro climate just like in the Amazonian forest. There are 5 levels, but on some of them you won't find stuff all the time, there are scheduled expositions. First level is the greatest one by far. Kids are absolutely blown away what they find here.

Expérience fantastique: If you are passionated about science and physics, then this is your place. If you are not passionated about them, it's also your place. A very good museum with an interior Amazon forrest and many other things that you can try. Recommend it!

Expérience fantastique: Best science museum I've been to! There are lots of interactive showcases and the tropical rainforest/aquarium section is fantastic. Very suitable for both adults and children. And the staff were very attentative and full of knowledge! Best €6 I could've spent.

Expérience fantastique: Waited around 20 minutes to get in, no biggie. Exibits were pretty cool but the section about the sun was only in Catalan, Spanish and I think French so I had to use google translate to immerse myself which is a slight inconvenience but gets boring after a while. Evolution and underwater forest were pretty cool.

Expérience positive: a science museum in which there is a small forest with the possibility to see some animals. It is also definitely interesting for children, you will find various activities related to the theories and principles of physics. Educational visit. Tickets can be purchased online for 6 € but you do not have the opportunity to visit the planetarium, a creative room (which is really only for children to have fun), you have to buy these other options and therefore the ticket price is more expensive. Very nice!

Expérience fantastique: Wonderful place! So much too see and the exposition, with the theme 'sun', was stunning. I can recommend that place for everyone who is interested in science. It's also very nice for young and old. You can do very many interactive things. I'd love to give that place 10 stars. It was one of the best experiences in a museum I have ever had.

Expérience fantastique: Best science museum experience ever! All the science experiment, gigantic tree in flooded forest and the ecosystem under it, even this museum have ants, their nest, and their way of transporting food!

Expérience fantastique: The best science museum I have ever seen in my life. It contains a lot of content. They have created an excellent science museum that should be visited not only by children but also by adults. There is a section about Nikola Tesla when we visited. I was particularly impressed with this episode. You have the opportunity to learn about the life of Nikola Tesla. At the same time, we had the chance to experience his inventions. In other parts, you have the chance to experience different fields of science interactively. At the same time, there is a small forest and animals in it. On the outside, there is a place for interactive experiences related to meteorology. This museum is also available in the cade and restaurant where you can snack and eat. Definitely, an amazing museum that you must experience.

Expérience fantastique: loved it. Great time spent there. Even our 3 y old daughter liked it very, very much

Expérience fantastique: Well worth visiting if you're in Barcelona for a few days. There are lots of excellent exhibitions (I particularly enjoyed the Sun exhibition). Most of the exhibitions had English language descriptions, but a few didn't which was disappointing. The rainforest area was very impressive too.

Andrew McGovern 1 year ago

Expérience fantastique: Amazing museum and good value at about £5 each for over 12's. The rain forest is well worth it, and just sitting and watching the fish was mesmerising! On busy days (e.g. when it rains) it be worth booking online (use Google Chrome and it will auto translate) as you will save massive queues and long waits for an entrance timeslot. It is well out of the city, about a 25 minute taxi ride but there is also a bus stop right outside that goes to and from the city centre.

Expérience fantastique: 6 euro per person to get into this incredible science museum. Lots of evolution, maths, physics. You need to buy UPFRONT extra tickets for planetarium and other activities which start at fixed hours, few times per day only. 2-3 hours can be spent here. Metro drops you 15 minutes near this one.

Expérience fantastique: One of the best experience with my 5 year son. A magical Place where science, physics, nature and the entire universe embrace you Free under 6 years, 6€for adul

Keren Visser 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Wonderful museum, really cleverly put together and great fun for Kids as it's super interactive. Also fascinating for older visitors- I learned a lot! Busy on a Saturday morning, not surprisingly. Buy tickets online to avoid queues. Note: it says online that parking is included. That is not the case! Parking costs more than entrance, but entrance is so reasonable that it actually works out OK.

Expérience fantastique: The best science museum i have ever visited. A combination of science, history, geography, nature and art with excellent interactive samples shown, all logically connected together. Everything is in a very good condition. It was interesting to check and touch, press buttons, see how physical laws work. The most interesting thing i was really impressed by was the nature part with giant trees, which grow in water, with big and small fish swimming together below, with birds flying between the branches of the trees above, with interesting animals walking on the ground around, with a large termite mound under the ground you may walk by and peep how they live. Kids also liked interactive part when they could play with robots/computer making some tasks. It's necessary to come there from the morning as 4 hours isn't enough to check all. We will definitely come again! Additional thanks to the museum staff for giving free tickets to Ukrainian refugees. Your attention and attitude supports us in this not easy time. Pray for Ukraine!

Expérience fantastique: This is a truly wonderful place to bring children. The vast space has been devoted solely to science and the explanation of various experiments and natural laws. Cosmo also has its own planetarium, as well as a picnic area and numerous workshops and playrooms for children of different ages. This is definitely one of the best places in barcelona

Ricardo Machado 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: It is my second visit to this museum. Never disappoints. Lots of activities and experiences for adults and children and with very diverse content... Sciences, universe, ecosystem. At the moment there is a temporary exhibition of 3D printing that is also worth a visit.
