Expérience fantastique: Depending on how many days you are in Barcelona this can be easily added to the list. If you are not a museum person at least you will be delighted by the place itself and all the fountains.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful but huge. The collection of Romanesque art beats the Prado one and is the best part of the visit, IMHO.

Expérience fantastique: An absolute must visit for anyone in Barcelona. From the beautiful plaza with cascading waterfalls and Roman columns to the incredible Palace building through to the amazing art collections. While we visited they had a Turner gallery featuring lots of his paintings including the haunting Jacobs Ladder, then their are 3 other galleries with large collections all containing incredible pieces curated expertly

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful structured Palace and surrounding park and fountains. The Museum is worthwhile to visit. Basic ticket for adults is 12 eur. In the one part of the exhibition you can find the portraits from various periods in the same room, so it is easy to catch all differences and I find it very interesting.

Expérience fantastique: This is a beautiful, gigantic and massive place visit in Barcelona. With only 2€ of starting entrance fee, you can see the temporary exhibitions, the rooftop and the main rooms of the building. This is basically a not to miss place. There is also a restaurant inside with a nice view but you have to make a reservation before time. Due to its size and location, it can be spotted from really far. Several steps lead up to the palace. there are breathtaking views of the city, creating plenty of photo opportunities. There are cafes and small shops too at the top. Undoubtedly impressive destination in Barcelona.

Expérience fantastique: The structure is colossal and looks grand. Due to its size and location, it can be spotted from far. Several steps lead up to the palace. Multiple fountains along the way enhance the majestic appearance of the palace. After climbing up, there are breathtaking views of the city, creating plenty of photo opportunities. There are cafes and small shops too at the top. We didn't visit it from the inside but climbed to the top and enjoyed the views. This imposing structure is undoubtedly impressive. It is a not-to-miss destination in Barcelona.

Expérience fantastique: Probably one of Barcelona’s best viewpoints to see the entire city in a very majestic way. Greta ambiance with some very pleasant live music performed at the base of the palace and audible all the way to the terrace. For only 2 euro you can access the basic expo and the terraces, but if you wanna see some of the great art the museum is known for, then I recommend going for the full 12 euro ticket so you can see everything. Tickets can be purchased in person or online, and they can be paid for in person with cash or card. Inside there are very clean restrooms and a decent restaurant, as well as a gift shop. The staff is very friendly and able to help you in English, Catalan and Spanish. You will find cafés and restaurants all around the area, with some great Tapas bars in the vicinity for a quick snack and refreshment along your journey. Easy to get to from the nearby metro and bus stations. Parking can be a bit tricky, but there are some paid areas with availability.

Expérience fantastique: Loved this museum, the ticket is for 2 days (plan accordingly), it has romanesque, gothic, Renaissance, baroque art set in a beautiful chronological order, the museum is not very busy and therefore you get to enjoy the works , you can take pictures and be really close to the art.

Expérience fantastique: Maybe the most impressive building for a museum in Catalonia. And a great collection too! The best collection of Romanesque mural painting in the world and the most representative artists of Catalan Modernism (Gaudí or Ramon Casas). And more, Gothic art, European Renaissance, Baroque painters and a large collection of photography. Great views of Barcelona and the magic fountain, a great restaurant and cafeteria. A very interesting shop and library, A must in your visit to Barcelona. Try the special visits to find magical and secret places in the museum.

Expérience fantastique: Great view from the terrace at the top of the museum. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but it was hosting a private event. We ended up eating at the cafeteria, and add the chance to eat inside an amazing dome with fresques. Only paid the basic entrance 2€. Recommend 100%

Expérience fantastique: Well worth the price & it takes at least 4-6 hours to properly visit every exhibition. Great views from the terrace, staff is friendly and helpful. Best part is that the ticket allows for a two day visit so if you cant see the everything in one day, you can come again.

Expérience fantastique: It will take more time to enjoy the exhibitions than meets the eye so enjoy it!

Expérience fantastique: Fantastic building which although less than 100 years old looks a lot older, with the highlights being the roof paintings which are unannounced and easy to miss. The art exhibitions inside are well laid out, and with natural lighting as well its a pleasure to visit.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful place, in one of the best locations in Barcelona. Situated on the top of a hill and it houses the major paintings gallery of the city, featuring a lovely medieval collection, but also many works of known barock and modern artists. Even if you don't care about museums, still it's worth to go there to eat in the terrace restaurant or on the steps.

Expérience fantastique: The best museum for catalonian historical art. The building itself is also amazing, and the surroundings.

Expérience fantastique: Wonderfull building which contains a multitude of art from all genres. The building is impressive inside and out and the cafe on the entrance steps must have one of the best views as you enjoy your cappuccino anywhere in Barcelona

Expérience fantastique: There is too much to say. The museum is extraordinary. We had our best meal in Barcelona at the rooftop restaurant in the museum. The walk from the museum down to the square with tier after tier of terraced fountains, even in the off-season, without the lights and all the flowers in bloom, was awe inspiring!
