Expérience fantastique: Great place for kids all ages. Small kids have a Nice playground and the older one can dress in costumes and take quizez. Do not forget about the personalized card you receive at the end! Kids love it

Expérience fantastique: One of the favourite indoor places of Den Haag kids. The youngest ones will love Kikker, Rupsje Nooitgenoeg, Dikkie Dik and Nijntje. Bigger kids will like the lower levels. You're not allowed to eat or drink in the museum itself, so the cafetaria is a convenient option. I just wish the tosti's were not superthin, making for very crunchy cardboard-like things when they cool down. Other food options like the croissant sell out faster. Tip: for Museum Card holders entrance is free. Kids under 2 don't pay an entrance fee. Ask the cashier for the free interactive "slurper" armbands for 4+ kids.

Expérience fantastique: Went with my 2 year old and my 4 year old, both had a wonderful time there. On the top floor they had fun with letters, playing fireman, creating their own stories, drawing. And also playing on the frog section. We didn't even have time to check the bottom floor, will go back another day to check it out. Only thing missing is more variety of food in the café downstairs, if you plan to go, maybe pack some sandwiches.

Expérience fantastique: Super interesting, my boys love it.

Expérience positive: A very nice museum that kids can play , interact and have fun. You can stay there at least half a day and more. Play level needs more cleaning and air since there are always kids playing. People should remove the shoes before even enter the level.

Expérience fantastique: Great museum for kids! There are so many different activities, playing zones, books, interactive games. Kids can even dress like a fireman and drive a fire truck. The 3d floor would be interesting for children up to 3-4 years old. There is a room for buggies which is very comfortable. And there is also very nice museum cafe with comfortable sofas near the window. Totally recommend this museum!

Expérience positive: A very nice place for kids. The third floor is better for kids under 3. The ground floor is for school kids. A lot of equipment and programs can join in. School kids are able to practice their reading skills. Definitely worthy to come for another time. It’s much busier upstairs, but much more fun downstairs.

Expérience fantastique: The perfect place to be with toddlers and kids! Very clean, well organized. Count at least 3 hours if you want to enjoy all the activities.

Marina Aizen 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: The most beautiful place for loving books children I knew so far. The place is so beautifully designed, created, thought for little ones, curious ones especially, and for everybody to enjoy while playing. I would only add a few benches more for parents though, maybe for grand parents to sit down and relax a little while the kids go from one place to another. Beautiful, beautiful experience for kids. ♥️♥️♥️

Expérience fantastique: I was really impressed by this museum or better expressed this interactive experience. It is a really enjoyable journey for kids. My 3 and 5 year old were very excited. There are like 2 worlds, 1 for young kids 2-5 year and the other one for 6-10 year old kids. We were there at least 3 hours.

Expérience fantastique: Perfect place for families with young kids to spend 1-2hrs

Expérience fantastique: Lots and lots of great activities for kids to do. Ours were 2 and 5 and found loads of interesting things, but older kids would do even better because some of it requires reading so we ended up helping quite a bit. Not that I minded - the exhibits are really interesting and interactive - I found them really fun to do with my kids. We were here 1.5 hours and would have stayed longer if it wasn’t closing. Fantastic museum for kids and adults alike.

Expérience fantastique: Our 2 1/2 year old son had a great time

Expérience fantastique: Not cheap, but definitely worth the visit. Lots (I mean lots) of things to do for the kids, with an internal cafeteria to have a quick lunch. We could have easily spent all day here.

Sander Cox 3 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Lots of cool things to do. Went with kids almost 2 and 3.5 years old. They had the yime of their life with Frog and friends and all the other stories

Michiel Guis 3 years ago

Expérience fantastique: The museum is amazingly designed and super interactive. I expected to be there an hour or two, but after 3,5 the kids were still busy doing all sorts of stuff. Making poems, playfully learning about stories, shooting book reviews, telling stories, etc...

Expérience fantastique: Best book museum for young and old it never stops to amaze you with different well designed exhibitions. It’s a book paradise for kids!

Frederico Camposana dos Santos 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: What a fantastic place. If you read your child books for kids in The Netherlands, they will for sure enjoy being in a place where they can be part of those stories. The scenarios are amazing and within those scenarios you are able to read them a story or just let them play with other children and see them use their imagination while playing. 5 stars.

Helen Tverdokhliebova 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: My daughter (2,5 years old) enjoyed it very much. ABC exhibition with the animals. Via the alphabat you will pass Nijntje, Dikkie dik, Rupsje Nooitgenoeg, Vos and Haas, Pim and Pom and so on. The children can go through all the picture books while climbing and crawling. Thicker for adults 9 euro for kids from 2 years 6,5 euro.

Expérience fantastique: A small and very nice and colorful museum where kids can have a lot of fun. My five-year old daughter enjoyed the playground space upstairs.

Expérience fantastique: Perfect place for children who likes books and reading. Also nice for adults!

Sara Mossong 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: We went with our 8 months old, which is rather young, but she loved her stay ! There are spaces made completely out of cushons, so she could play and crawl around without any risk, a sort of treasure hunt that she could try and all sorts of little fun things to see. We would definitly go back when she's a bit older, but this mueum offers a lot to see and play for kids of many ages (<7).

Expérience fantastique: Excellent for kids abd parents during rainy dutch days

Expérience fantastique: Quite small play section but great fun for small kids. Picture section okay but not that much fun. Books secrion is good for older ones. Highly recommended.

Joost Naaijen 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Super fun museum. Especially for small kids(2-5), although older (7-10) can also have fun. Beautifully constructed, entertaining and educative! It is sort of small so it gets busy quick. We were there on a Sunday morning which was very busy. We spend about 2 hours there with a one year old and a three year old.

Margarita Morales 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Amazing. The area for kids and the area for toodlers, are the best places I've known to incentive children lecture. My daughter loved that place

Maria Peeva 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Witty and entertaining, such a great place for kids and also for grown ups. We went there during the kinderboekenparade - festival of the children book- and the entrance was for free. The upstairs area is very fun and it is also translate into English. The favourite children heroes are revealing their world. The shop is also quite cute.

Expérience fantastique: This place is just so much gun! Imagine your self in a real life BOOK. Play in the scenes of the story Build a tiled rooftop and then let all the tiles drop with a loud noise which makes the kids laugh and start all over agine. Go ice skating on the artificial lake or ho fishing while to sit in the little rowing boat, sit in a house and listen to story’s with a headphone set on. Go through the rest of the museum and play in the divers areas. Ohwwww ... don’t forget to take your shoes off and mum and dads put your blue shoe covers on!!! Have fun!

Expérience fantastique: Really nice "museum" for children. It is more like a playground themed after famous dutch children's books. Can get quite busy on weekends / rainy days.

Ronald de Jong 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Excellent for small kids but you do need to pay to get in. You will find different children stories set out so that kids can play. All very educational and a good way to spend 2 or 3 hours.

Gareth Williams 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Museum of Children's books = loads of fun with the children. This is a magical place, and we go back time and time (at the children's request). Lots to do and lots to see...

Dio Dotus 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Ideal for both toddlers and young children. The didactic games are creative and beautifully designed, and even parents will enjoy the visit. The toddler area has English translations underneath the Dutch texts on the walls but the rest requires understanding of the Dutch language.

Expérience fantastique: What a great way to spend the day with kids in The Hague!

Niels van Diepen 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Great place for small children. They love wondering around through their favorite books!

Bo Blanckenburg 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: It's more an indoor playground themed around children's books, than a museum, which I think is a great addition! Even suitable for crawling kids!

Erik Mulder 5 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Very nicely made fantasy world in the theme of childrens books. So much fun for the little ones!

Expérience fantastique: Great fun for kids. Highly recommended!

Frank Versteegen 6 years ago

Expérience fantastique: A great place to visit with younger children! I did not have very high expectations upfront, but the way the museum managed to make the books interactive is truly remarkable. Each book has its own room and children can sneak through little holes from one story to the other. Only minor downside is the small access elevator which makes it quite hard to reach with an oversized stroller.

Arjan Tupan 6 years ago

Expérience fantastique: Great place to discover Dutch children's literature, with amazing exhibitions which our kids (3 and 1) greatly enjoyed. Very much worth your visit, also if you're not Dutch or Dutch-speaking. Much is also available in English, and otherwise it's like a giant and wonderful playground. For all ages.
