Expérience fantastique: Great dinosaur hall! 10/10! Rest is kinda meh: one skull of Enthelodont and two Smilidon skulls is all they have between Dinosaur era and Neocene.

Expérience fantastique: That’s incredible how it is! It’s so nice with its real huge dinosaurs and different sections, of course everyone can write about its beauty! But it’s so crowded, full of noise, children and so on, so the environment for me was not calm enough to enjoy with my husband who is a writer and his books are related to Dinosaurs ( Markus Peter Kretschmer) but he could explain some of them to me because already he visited the museum last year! I think I have to visit it again! But I have some suggestions, this big museum necessitates more toilet ! I have to say a better and bigger space for coffee and cake or some snacks, because there was not quality coffee since with the noisy environment a person needs to eat or drink something! I would suggest that there should be a plan for schools and other groups to visit the museum only on weekdays, so tourists can enjoy on weekends( with the exception those who visit there on weekdays)! I have to say as a soil scientist the geological and mineral part were so amazing to me! Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: A must visit museum for all kinds of people, especially people with kids. If you have little interest in evolution, history, dinosaurs and the universe, then the place is yours! I was amazed to see the dinosaur skeleton! They have a great collection of insects, animals, fish, dinosaur skeletons, and whole sea creatures! There is a beautiful show regarding the universe in which you can watch from the big bang to the present situation of our Universe. The most amazing thing is, the entry is free. Well, It's not for everyday! One sunday in every month the entry is free for all the people! You have to look at which sunday it is! Although it is free, you have to register online at least 2/3 weeks before, otherwise you have to wait in the line. And obviously it is a long long line. The staff are really very good. Only thing i don’t like is the toilet! It was not clean

Expérience fantastique: Not too big (the second floor is closed) but full of wonderful pieces, incredibly cataloged and exhibited! If you love science, you should go

Expérience fantastique: Very nice museum with dinosaur sekeltons, animals (from bugs to hippos) and some info about the universe. I'd recommend 2-3 hours for the visit.

Expérience fantastique: I recommend it to all people. That was absolutely wonderful experience for me. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can enjoy dinosaurs. There is actually the tallest skeleton in the world. There are so many beautiful taxidermy animals to watch. You can also buy very interesting things in the gift shop. Super easy to go there by tram. The only negative things was toilet. They have to definitely rebuild it. It was too old and old-fashioned.

Expérience fantastique: This was a lovely experience! An awesome wet collection that I have never seen in my life. All the material exhibited here is marvelous.

Expérience fantastique: good museum, fair price & wonderful taxidermy exhibition

Expérience fantastique: First of all, we stayed in the hotel opposite and would recommend booking before you go (online) because ticket queues can get long. The museum itself though is beautiful, with some brilliant exhibitions. It doesn’t take too long to go around but there are lots of things to see. The fossils and dinosaurs were very intriguing and the taxidermy section was brilliant to bring across the science aspect of evolution. Would highly recommend a visit here - there is a shop, cafe and toilet facilities too so a family could easily spend a day here.

Expérience fantastique: Very good museum, only 15 € family ticket. Dinosaur skeletons, increased in many sizes insects, you can see how they really look like. Interesting for adults snd kids! Our son was thrilled)))

Ehud Aviran 1 year ago

Expérience positive: While very interesting and houses a variety of exhibitions on our world and the creatures living in it (both past and present), the facility itself has no AC, and when the different rooms get crowded you can really feel it. My kids loved the giant dinosaurs' skeletons, the preservation chambers and the rock collection - the lack of interactive exhibits made the experience somewhat superficial. Even so, we spent the better part of three hours on the premises, and would recommend for anyone that comes on days that are not that hot....

Expérience fantastique: A very nice place if you are interested un natural history. Great place for going with kids. The fist room has several scheletona of dinosours mounted, and videos with addotional explanations. I recommend yo buy the familien ticket(you can see the whole exposition in less than 2 hours)

Expérience fantastique: This museum has a great collections of plants and animals from the Dinosaurs age until modern age. The tallest and greatest Brachiosaurus skeleton is also located here. It's certainly the main attraction of this museum.

Expérience fantastique: A bit small, due to covid and lack of extra exhibitions, but beautiful, affordable, good for kids, and clean.

Expérience fantastique: I enjoyed so much this visit. The room dedicated to stones is totally awesome as well as the one dedicated to butterflies and other insects. You can see dinosaurs located on the main hall. There are other rooms with less information but nice because the information is not overwhelming

Expérience positive: This museum offers wide range of topic from geology to astronomy and biology. It has many collections of natural world. at the entry the bones of the dinosaurs would catch your attention. Then you will go into the of world physics then animals, minerals. You need to book the tickets online with a time slot. I would appreciate if the description could all be translated into English.

Expérience fantastique: Fantastic place to visit with beautiful displays of animals, dinosaurs, fossils and insects. The T-rex was unfortunately not displayed when we were there, probably in another museum at the time - nice 2 hour visit including a little gift shopping :)

Expérience fantastique: Just second to Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt in the biggest size, the "Museum für Naturkunde" or "Museum for Natural History" in Berlin houses around 30 million objects! Originally part of the Humboldt University of Berlin, since 1st January, 2009, it has become a foundation under public law. It first opened its doors to public in 1889. The museum is best known for the Brachiosaurus brancai , which is considered to be the best preserved skeleton of its kind and the world's largest assembled skeleton of a dinosaur. It is based on bone finds made in 1937 by a German expedition in the Tendaguru layers of what was then the colony of German East Africa (now Tanzania) and was composed of several partial skeletons and modeled additions. One can only get lost in the kind of ocean of knowledge this museum presents to the vistors. :)

Expérience fantastique: My dad and I went to visit this fantastic museum on our fourth day in Berlin, Germany in June 2012 and we saw some skeletons of dinosaurs! They are so amazing. I always love dinosaurs! It is probably one of the best museums in Germany ! We're the visitors from Ireland !

Georgios Stathakis 2 years ago

Expérience fantastique: One of the better National History Museums, classical style. All the skeletons are impressive, and the top exhibit is the room of jars filled with specimens. That alone is worth a visit. Go and say hi to Tristan!

Expérience fantastique: The museum is totally worth the visit. Every species are displayed with a special attension to detail. So much so that they look like they ll come to life as you keep looking them. So mesmersing. Also the display of Earth's core, solar system and the minerals totally leaves you awestruck. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE STUDENT, you can get the entry ticket for 5 Euros only and ON THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH, the entry for all museums is FREE OF COST.

Expérience fantastique: The museum was incredible although it did seem like some parts were closed due to COVID. Their specimen room was amazing- could definitely spend hours looking at everything available. If in Berlin, this is a must see.

Expérience fantastique: Very large collection of Dino’s and minerals. Also quite a lot of stuffed animals (Panda, polar bear, gorilla ect). Only 15 euros for family ticket! Our son enjoyed it very mutch.

Expérience fantastique: Not to big but full of brilliance Fantastic museum. Huge dinosaurs bones in the main room, great to see. Very well presented museum, many animals displayed beautifully (if there is such a thing with dead animals). The (obviously quite smelly) room full of preserved animals was incredible, rather humbling. We took our kids (3 & 5) and they loved it also.

Expérience fantastique: This is a cool museum. It is not particularly large, but the exhibits are interesting. They have some dinosaur exhibitions at the very beginning (would have loved to see a T-Rex but sadly there isnt one), and as part of these they have some interactive binoculars that show an animated video on how these same dinos looked back in the day. Theres also an area, a sort of circular couch, where you can lay down and look up the roof for a video presentation on the formation of thr universe(sadly seems to be in german only). I think they might have some audio devices that could include different languages at the reception, but I actually did not try this. In any case it was a nice visit, 15 euro for 2 adults and a child (family ticket which could have included 2 additional kids), not a bad deal. I would recommend you visit.

Expérience fantastique: Absolutely great museum to visit. To avoid long time waiting it’s better to buy tickets online. There are really a lot to see there and you can spend hours there especially if you go there with kids. Cafe and eating area there if you bring your own food. Last, unfortunately T-Rex is only last week in Berlin and at the end of January will travel to Copenhagen for next 10 years. So, hurry up

Expérience fantastique: One of the best experiences I've had in Berlin. Amazing exhibition with the tallest known dinosaur skeleton in the world, and the only T-Rex skeleton in Europe. Since the whole place is interactive, kids will love it, but it is a must-see for adults too.

Expérience fantastique: Fantastic museum, lots to see. This museum is fantastic. There is so much to see that you end up missing things, so it's great for return trips. There are lots of weird and wonderful exhibits there including dinosaur bones, stuffed animals, crystals, fossils and other models and displays. My favourite was a huge, dark room full of thousands of glass bottles and jars containing the most strange types of fish, crustaceans, lizards, frogs and many other creatures. We spent all day looking at everything and it wasn't too expensive. Definitely worth a visit.

Maksym Pylypovych 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: The record-holding Giraffatitan(Brachiosaurus) skeleton, T-Rex and other dino fossils are impressive. So is the collection of minerals. And extremely high-quality taxidermy, if you are into that :)

Maria Jankovicova 4 years ago

Expérience fantastique: I love this museum. It's not that big, it takes approximately 2-3 hours, but it's one of my favorites! There is the biggest mounted dinosaur in the world, most preserved archeopteryx, T-Rex named Tristan, huge mineral collection from around the world and so. There is plenty of children activities, every day.

Expérience fantastique: Great museum. One can find many thungs here to wonder about. The efficiency and serivice is on the high level. While comparing expriences you will receive and price you will pay for the ticket, it is a perfect deal.

Expérience fantastique: It's an amazing museum in Berlin. Their halls are great with an amazing collection of Paleontology ! Information just in German, complicated if you are not speaker of German. Tickets by 2 euros .

Expérience fantastique: The 5€ I paid to enter here as a student were the best invested 5€ in a long time! This museum is huuuuuuuuuge, and everything is really interesting. I stayed there 3 hours and couldn't see everything in detail, I should have prepared more time. All nature history aspects were treated, it was really easily understandable, really interactive. The collections are impressive!

Expérience fantastique: The excursion from our language school to the Museum of Natural History in Berlin was one of the most amazing we ever did. It was really easy to find, as there is a subway and tram station with the same name(Naturkundemuseum) just a couple meters away from the museum. The price is totally reasonable and it definitely worth it’s value. Right upon entering the Museum you see huge dinosaur bone structures which are made to reality by a interactive mechanism and it is AWESOME! it is almost as you were there beside them. The whole museum is interactive and also perfect for children. Our students had so much fun discovering the different animals and where they come from, seeing how the universe works and even seeing fossils and fetus of a huge amount of animals in small and big jars. But as advertised by the Museum, the most incredible part is the Tyrannosaurus rex, Tristan. It is breathtaking. The size, the history and how small you feel next to it. As we could see the museum also offers workshops for small children and school children, and it looked so much fun that even our students wanted to do it. Part of the museum consists on TVs with information about bugs and small animals that can only be seen with the help of special paper glasses that you get on the entrance of the space. It was a surprising to the whole group which stayed there just having fun and looking around. The Universe part also has a couple of minutes show where you can sit on a sofa and look up the sky and discover a lot about our planet and the universe itself. We would, for sure, recommend the visit, and plan enough time for it, as you can spend hours inside looking at all details.

Expérience fantastique: Exceptional place for nature and history lovers. Ofcourse by history I mean history of earth not humans. They have the largest dinosaur specimen. And also special room for T-Rex! They are using very latest and engaging technology to keep you interested. Place is exceptionally clean and well lit. Entry fee is fair. Reserve Atleast 3 hours if you plan to visit. And don't miss the meteors!

Expérience fantastique: A wonderful place, a lot of people in the museum as well as in front of it to checkout. A small tip, you can buy tickets online through the museum website. At the entrance to the museum you will be asked to go to the information about collecting a free ticket form. T-Rex makes the most impression in the museum.

Expérience fantastique: Treasure trove of knowledge, history and fun all rolled together. Hours passed unknowingly when we were there and my family absolutely loved the trip here. Recommended!
