Expérience fantastique: Well organized small museum. Many elegant art works.there are detailed multi-language descriptions for almost all the exhibited art works. 7 euro ticket is well worth. The beautiful sculpture of Michelangelo is as also here, it’s the only sculpture outside Italy in his lifetime. Amazing

Expérience fantastique: Just great. "See Bruges and die!" I've never seen, and I've always found Belgium rather boring. On this trip I was taught a better one! Bruges is indeed a beautiful city! I can only recommend a visit! I would definitely come back again!

Expérience positive: Beautiful impressive church. We wanted to see the new burial vaults that have just been discovered during excavations, but they are not yet visible. You can see other burial vaults.

Expérience fantastique: The museum located within the Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk houses numerous paintings from the 13th century, the tombs of 2 rulers of the region, a work by Michelangelo ... so a visit is recommended. Free with MBCard or €7 ticket.

Expérience fantastique: Come here in January 2020 Church of Our Lady (Dutch: Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk) is a church in Bruges, Belgium, which was mainly built in the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries. The bell tower is 122 meters high and is the tallest building in the city and the second tallest brick tower in the world (the tallest is St. Martin's Church in Landshut, Germany). Behind the high altar is the chanting hall, the daring Charlie of the last Duke of Burgundy, and the tomb of Mary, the daughter of Burgundy. On the black slate are gilded bronze portraits of father and daughter, both wearing a crown, full armor of Charlie, and the decoration of the Knights of the Golden Wool. The altar in the Southern Corridor's chapel is decorated with the church's most famous artistic treasure, Michelangelo's white marble sculpture of Our Lady of Bruges around 1504. Originally made for the Cathedral of Siena, it was bought by the brothers Bruen businessman Jan and Alexander Mouscron and donated to the Church of Our Lady in 1514. The sculpture was snatched by foreign occupants twice: the French revolutionary in 1794 and Nazi Germany in 1944, and then recovered.

Expérience fantastique: You can buy the tickets for this museum at the counter at the Gruuthuuse. So you pay an entrance fee for the most beautiful statues, chapels and paintings in the church. The church is wheelchair accessible. Michelangelo's Madonna can only be admired from a great distance. There are information boards just about everywhere.

Expérience positive: Beautiful, but like all public heritage sites and museums, the museum pass is recommended, otherwise you pay a lot for what it is
