Expérience fantastique: Worth the visit. Ricardo was the greatest tour guide ever so informative and willing to explain every piece in this wonderful museum. There are around 3000 pieces of glass & crystal from all over the world. Furniture and paintings the architectural of this house was soooooo beautiful. the time spent was around 1 hour and 15 minutes I didn't feel it. It's a tour guided visit, tickets costs 7 euros. I highly Recommend it.

Expérience fantastique: Today I was at this wonderful place! I was really amazed by the glass collection exibited at that museum! It is situated near the city center and anyone can easily find it and enjoy. The owner of this place gave us a really nice tour around it explaining almost each masterpiece of glass. The history of the objects that are collected in his own lifetime is quite spectacular! It is definitely a place to visit!

Expérience fantastique: Even if you have no knowledge about glass or crystal you will still enjoy this experience thanks to the excellent guide. This was my second time and I'm glad to see this museum has expanded its collection since 2013 when I first visited.

Expérience fantastique: Who would have known that Glass could be so interesting. Our guide Ricardo brought the subject to life, using the collected glass items as pointers. All this in the lovely setting of a suitably furnished 18th century house

Expérience fantastique: A lovely surprise. The collection of glass and ceramique is wonderful, also the entire house. The fact that you have a guide included transforma the entire experience because you learn so much about what you see there. It s a museum that deserves to be visited

Expérience fantastique: Brilliant exhibition of a range of glass, beautifully displayed. Well worth checking this museum out, and a must for glass lovers!

Expérience fantastique: I decided to come here because of personal connections with some artists working with glass, so I wanted to learn more from them, and I didn't regret it at all! Not only is the collection in the museum absolutely incredible (it also includes furniture and paintings), but the owner gave us a guide, and he was one of the most amazing people I've met! Incredibly kind, passionate, full of knowledge and love for humans, a true hippie! Everyone should visit it, if not for the beautiful art itself, but for the beautiful people there. His way of building up the community of Malaga and making the art and knowledge with it accessible to everyone (the entrance fee is really a steal) was awesome, incredibly inspiring, and brought me back the belief in the inherent goodness of people. Thank you so much!! I hope I get to come back, and listen in to a concert.. and see the library being built!!!

Expérience fantastique: Really good museum off the beaten track. Each tour is guided (included in the price) and the guides give the tour in English/Spanish/French, and they’re really well informed - experts, they answer any question you have. There are a lot of exhibits, in terms of quality of pieces (eg. rare items and significant items) it’s not as good as other museums (because it’s a private collection). However, it does serve to show you typical pieces and inspire you.

Expérience fantastique: Located in a wonderful private home in Malaga this museum is quite unique. Visits can only be done with guides but it is worth the experience to see the collection close up and learn more about its content.

Expérience fantastique: It is really a unique collection, and the owner did the favour to tell a lot of details about glass/art/religious glass art. ;) Recommend.

Expérience fantastique: One of the best museum experiences I’ve ever had! The tour guide was delightful and gave such interesting presentation of the glassware and artifacts of the place. Gained so much knowledge in one go. I will definitely go again one day! Magnifico

Expérience fantastique: One of the best Museum experiences in Malaga, especially if you get the owner as your guide (not saying the other guides aren’t amazing!) Other museums you feel like you are distanced from the artifacts, to a point where it is comparable to looking at them through a screen, but here you are transported to their origin, as though these pieces were made to be used by you! It was a truly original way to experience history of not only crystal and glass, but other items as well.

Expérience fantastique: An amazing place to visit. From the street, you have no idea what a fantastic building lies behind. The glass collection is beautiful, and the house itself is also wonderful, with paintings and antique furniture. The guide (in our case, the owner) was so engaging and informative. For 7 euros... it was a very memorable afternoon. Totally recommended.

Expérience fantastique: They had a lot of amazing glass, and had other non-glass art pieces. Spent 7€ and an hour there, worth it. It’s a guided tour with free time downstairs at the end. Went during winter and saw the special Christmas exhibit

Expérience fantastique: A wonderful experience. Guided tour full of information by the owner, a delightful man. Glass collection was stunning as was everything else. A real treat and will recommend this to all our friends. The Mayor of Malaga definitely needs persuading to put up more signs in line with other Malaga museums. Don't waitt... book a tour.

Expérience fantastique: ***** Re-opened 1st September 2021 ***** Every visit to Malaga city deserves a visit to this gorgeous museum. And now it is re-opening with new exhibits to see. There are often temporary exhibitions within the museum, so there is always something different each time we go. But this time there is even more! One thing in particular which will, I think, appeal to English-speaking visitors is the "Alice in Wonderland" stained glass windows, just gorgeous. It is not like a museum, more like visiting a private house, but a beautiful private house with exceptional furnishing and ornaments. You will just LOVE it! .

Expérience fantastique: Just fabulous! Guided tour offered by the nicest gentleman, lots of stories regarding exposition, paintings, furniture , family history and acquisition for the museum. And the house.... oh, the house! The whole museum is superb but my heart goes with the house! Don't hesitate!

Expérience fantastique: A brilliant tour of a 300 year old traditional Spanish, gentleman's home. The collections of glass, crystal, stained glass, furniture, paintings and carpets are brought to life by the excellent guided tour. On my first visit two years ago the owner took the tour, and on this occasion a young man from Italy was the guide, both were extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend it if works of art and craftsmanship are of interest. The ordinary exterior of the house hides a magnificent interior.

Expérience fantastique: This place was INCREDIBLE! The tour guide was so detailed and took an interest in our lives. We didn't have any knowledge of glass and it was an eye-opener for sure as you learn the history of glass and the owner's legacy. Without doubt, I recommend anyone in the area to visit this beautiful building and amazing glass tour. I've been on countless tours and this is definitely in my top three of all-time. Please do not overlook this tour!

Expérience fantastique: A must see in Malaga! The tour gives you insight of all the ages of glass, crystal and porcelain making from the 16th century. The Murano and the contemporary glasses were exceptional. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Thank you!

Expérience fantastique: The most beautiful museum in Malaga! They give you a free tour of the selection and the house which is beautifully restored. So many of pieces blow your mind away in terms of creativity. I've never thought glass could be such a flexible medium. The historic pieces are nice too. This is both an educational and also an uplifting place to visit

Expérience fantastique: On a cold day with inches of hail on the ground what do you do - check out a museum. We visited the crystal museum and had the most informative afternoon for a long time. The collection is amazing the knowledge incredible and the best value for money I've spent in Malaga and anywhere else for some considerable time. Even if you don't have bad weather VISIT.

Expérience fantastique: Amazing find! You have a personal guide who tells you the story of the home and it’s contents. Stained glass windows, crystal from all eras, China and porcelain. One of our top sights that is tucked away. If the Church across the street is open pop in there too for a beautiful respite. Highly advise this sight!

Expérience fantastique: The amount of work (and money)put into establishing and stocking this most interesting museum is awe-inspiring. There are exhibits covering all eras and fashions with a great range of glass, Crystal and porcelain from all over Europe and elsewhere from all the major manufacturers and designers. Effort has also been made to place items in context by purchasing the appropriate furniture. Exhibits range across stained glass windows, glass and crystal ornaments and utensils as well as China and porcelain set in a lovingly restored property. The young man leading the tour was very knowledgeable and sympathetic. A wonderful experience requiring congratulation for the owner.

Expérience fantastique: The museum of glass and crystal is one of the most attractive in Malaga. The private collection of Gonzalo is considered as old and modern at the same time. The museum is situated in a developing but ancient part of Malaga. This typical local two-storeyed building is some centuries old. The museum is devided in thematic spaces and the furniture and pictures reflect a definite period. The patio is in plants and flowers. In the spacy hall before Christmas they put Belen consisting on precious sculptures of the prominent Spanish brand Lladro. About this and all other stories connecting to the vases, glasses, jars you will be explained in three languages - Spanish, French, English. The tours are guided. The owner tries to keep special atmosphere and restored the building as more authentic as possible. Everything is made with love. And you feel it. You can see the light play of crystal and sometimes even its 'singing'. By the way in the garden of the museum music is quite often to here. Here some simphonic concerts and opera singing take place. Sometimes the hall serves for different events as well as famous dinners. The plates and glasses are of the top quality.
