Expérience fantastique: Such a beautiful place. I visited there once before with my girlfriend and the Customer service was amazing. We had an amazing tour guide who explained Albin’s history flawlessly. We took pictures there and enjoyed the beautiful views. It was such a good experience and the staff was so nice, they allowed me to plan another visit but this time As my engagement location. I proposed to my girlfriend now Fiancé here. We brought our families and it was an amazing experience! You can feel the foundation of the museum and garden was built on love.

Expérience fantastique: Beautiful and moving gardens & sculptures. Much dedication to the Catholic faith. Our docent, Nicolas, was amazing and so informative... do not miss the house tour part of the day! We were lucky to go when it was a free museum day... but even without, it would be worth it! Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the gardens and lake!

Expérience fantastique: A must see yet easy to miss place in Winter Park. A 10 minute gentle walk (if you are European, as Americans don't walk in the heat) from the main street, it is a very interesting small museum and lush art garden, with the works of Czech American artist Albin Polasek, a talented sculptor and painter. Little known outside the US, his works are very interesting. Many, the largest ones, are still visible in Chicago. Many other, smaller ones, are spread in the lush gardens of his villa. The themes of his work often revolve around Christian figures and European mythology, and sometimes a mix of the two, for instance with his admirable Sower. His fantastic masterpiece, which epitomizes his (very American) worldview, is visible in the front garden: "man carving his own Destiny". This piece is all the more admirable since it was carved after he got paralized on one side after a stroke. Our guide Marty was really great, with a in depth knowledge of Polasek, his life and work. Don’t miss it!

Expérience fantastique: Such a hidden gem of Orlando! Whether you are traveling or have lived here for years, the Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens are so lovely year-round:) They have a rotating gallery exhibit which changes every few months, and beautiful gardens and historic home & studio of the artist Albin Polasek. The gardens are so serene and quiet.

Expérience fantastique: One of my favorite museams...this property on a placid lake is like Shangra La. The Art and its surroundings evoke a contemplative Peace and zen experience. I highly recommend The Polasek Museum for anyone especially those who enjoy a quiet stroll through BEauty of all kinds. BTW: I secured our tickets on Groupon as a 2 for 1.

The gardens are beautiful and truly beautiful. The small chapel is amazing and such a beautiful serene place. Expérience fantastique: The story and history behind Albin Polasek is amazing. He was an extremely talented artist in sculptures of wood metal clay and more. Albin could also paint. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and they back up to the winter park chain of lakes. They also have a venue for weddings and events. I would say you can spend about 1.5 hours here. There are promos you can find for added value to your visit.

Expérience fantastique: I have been visiting the museum and sculpture gardens for many years, introducing friends and family to its richness of culture. The director has maintained a high degree of quality both indoors and outdoors for the past seventeen years. If you have never been to the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens, let me recommend this artistic experience. If you have been, remember the gallery of guest artists is constantly changing.

Expérience fantastique: The historical sight of the legacy of Mr. Polasek. An immigrant's story that is the American dream realized. The serine grounds renders one in a state of amazement. Surrounded by sculptures in the green garden. Great for lovers family and gathering of friends, the only place in Orlando with a plain air event held every last week of April. I invite you to visit and be thrilled with this historical sight.

Expérience fantastique: Such a gem. I ordered his biography. Plan to spend longer than you think in the museum. Fascinating man. Amazing artist. Our Docent tour by Petra was wonderful. Do see the 15 minute video also. Bringing a picnic and enjoying the lake view at their picnic tables is a relaxing way to spend some time. We saw a bunny while we ate our lunch! My 13 yr old found a huge owl pellet by the dock to bring home and dissect!

Expérience fantastique: It was an absolutely wonderful experience. I would encourage anyone coming to the area to check out the outside gardens and statues at this truly breathtaking museum. And, I mean it, it is simply beyond breathtaking. The museum docents are very very informative, and the grounds are just gorgeous. If you’re looking for the absolutely perfect afternoon retreat, this is definitely the place to go.

Expérience fantastique: This museum was a new find for me. I found it online searching for a place to write my Art class paper on. Reading reviews it peeked my interest and they were right in that it has beautiful art and sculptures are wonderful. I really enjoyed my visit and I stayed longer than I thought. They were having a Cattlemen's exhibit that included a view of the clothing that went with the theme. Wonderful time!

Expérience fantastique: This place is lovely. If you’ve never been, I would definitely recommend going on one of the tours. We toured with Denise, she was very knowledgeable, sweet, and hilarious (we forgot to fill out an evaluation form for her, so we loved you Denise! You were awesome!). She toured inside his yellow house & his chapel. Otherwise, you’d really just be walking around his backyard that’s filled with sculptures (not knocking this, just saying the tour makes an amazing first time experience!). The tour adds a lot of time & you get to see things that are off limits if you weren’t on the tour. Albin’s story is so inspiring & makes his artworks that much more incredible. They also invite people to have picnics in the backyard. So bring some lunch & have a fun afternoon!

Expérience fantastique: I personally love this sculpture garden and their museum. We went back today to enjoy the museum. We signed up for the free museum tour with a curator and she did a fantastic job explaining not just the life of Polasek and his art, but also other interesting facts related. The garden is one of my favorite spots, with those amazing sculptures in the park with views of the lake. It is small, yet enough for a couple hours visit, and enrich your senses. Highly recommend it

Expérience fantastique: Very interesting hidden jewel. The gardens alone were worth the trip

Expérience fantastique: We visited Saturday for the Lay of the Land exhibit part of the Florida Cattlemen’s Association. The Art was true to the people that it represents, a window into the heart and soul of Florida. A treasure of history in the life of a cowboy in Florida. The Polasek Foundation has done an incredible work in making an American Bohemian’s life of art alive for our future. Our Docent was one of the most enthusiastic and took care to make sure we were engaged in the world of Albin Polasek. The grounds were spectacular and framed the art and the heart of the Artists. The lake provided a peacefulness in connecting us to the moment and space. What a sense of living we shared on our visit.

Expérience fantastique: This museum is not only full of history, but it is also a wonderful place to spend the day. After walking the gardens and viewing the artwork, I took the tour and realized there was so much more to experience here. If you go to visit, make sure you go on the tour, Albin Polasek was an incredible person and the story of his life is as incredible as his work.

Expérience fantastique: It is a beautiful tribute to an artist my husband and I were unfamiliar with. The tour is very informative and everyone who works there are very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They are also well informed and appear to enjoy their work. The art is very beautiful and well worth the visit.

Expérience fantastique: A smaller estate but very interesting. Plan on being there to take the house tour and the visit will take approximately two hours. The people at this property really do care. They believe in the artist and what he created. The gardens in themselves are lovely and a pleasant stroll which encourages you to walk on the grass and with a picnic area. The house has several wonderful pieces contained within it and the tour was informative. The temporary exhibit space is great, and there was a terrific collection of Polynesian artifacts on my visit.
