Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful, I recommend going to the opening otherwise you risk being in a queue for 2 hours.

Esperienza fantastica: It is an overwhelming place, amazing, it leaves you speechless. We did the night and daytime visits, both highly recommended. We hardly had any waiting time since for the night visit we arrived in advance, even so they were very punctual. The night visit is shorter than the daytime one, but it is certainly beautiful.

Esperienza fantastica: Visita davvero divertente. Foto attribuite a mia moglie.

Esperienza fantastica: Eccezionale.

Esperienza fantastica: A wonderful place to see, beautiful. The only drawback is the queues to get the entrance booked online and the audio guides work terrible and with the noise of people you can't hear anything, the two audio guides we rented were a waste of money. Many people this last weekend of March

Esperienza fantastica: Scenario of the thousand and one nights, or semblance of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, evocation of the Taj Mahal, and also inspiration for Catalan modernism, and yet, unique, unrepeatable, incomparable, eternal and unforgettable. The Alhambra is a dream place, of unlimited inspiration to which you always want to return.

Esperienza fantastica: A must see. It is a marvel where you can find buildings from different eras. Better to get tickets online because there are very long lines at the box office.

Esperienza fantastica: A wonderful place, you are speechless. I advise you to go with a guide that explains better than the audio guide of the patronage.

Esperienza fantastica: Such marvellous buildings left for the posterity by Muslim rulers of Spain. (There is no dominant but God) “ولا غالب إلا الله” is the sentence which you will find all over Al-hambra engraved on most of the monuments. Muslims have left but God is there. Impressive wonder of Andalucia, going around Alhambra, one is amazed with the dedication and the commitment those legends who built it achieved. "No Dominant but God" is the phrase, you will see most when visiting the palace and being the symbol of the first empire in Andalucia it was repeated everywhere you walk while inside the wonder. Moving to the "Generalife" on the other side of Alhambra is a true gardening experience something you never seen before and you feel like a true prince and princess while walking through those well organised gardens "The Gardens of Andalus" are well known worldwide.

Esperienza fantastica: The Alhambra is definitely worth a visit. You should have seen it. All the sights of the Alhambra are very well preserved. Everywhere you can enjoy the charm and charisma of the palace gardens and the artistic details of the handicrafts. Again and again you will find lovingly tended romantic gardens.

David Gutiérrez Sacristán SPAIN 3 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: It is the autonomous body in charge of managing the monuments of the Alhambra and the Generalife in Granada, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. It has its own legal personality and is attached to the Ministry of Culture of the Junta de Andalucía.

Esperienza fantastica: Perfect! The staff is always nice, even the gardeners who don't have to be, everything indicated perfect, well preserved and beautiful, a lot of things that can be seen for free apart from your ticket, a lot of ticket modalities for you to choose from, well managed, nice to meet you !

Esperienza fantastica: Unforgettable experience I went with my partner and we had an excellent time, you have to prepare the tickets in advance. Always go with comfortable clothes and sports shoes.

Mónica Moreno 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: It is advisable to go first thing in the morning to avoid the heat. It is preferable to visit them during the day to be able to appreciate the true color of the flowers and the freshness of their paths. They are more than 3 hours of visit, then I recommend that you take water and go resting. The audio guide costs €6, but it is worth stopping at the stations and listening to the whole story to really understand its meaning.

Esperienza fantastica: Al Hamra Palace is an archaeological palace and a fortress built by the Arab Muslim King Abu Abdullah Mohammed I Muhammad bin Yusuf bin Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Nasr bin Red between 1238-1273 in the Kingdom of Granada during the second half of the tenth century AD. Is now one of the most important tourist attractions in Spain and is located 267 miles (430 km) south of Madrid. The beginning of the construction of the Al-Hamra Palace dates back to the fourth century AH, corresponding to the tenth century AD, some of which dates back to the seventh century AH, corresponding to the thirteenth century AD. It has been built for more than 150 years. The use of fine decorative elements in engineering organizations such as carpet decorations, the writing of Quranic verses and supplications, and even some of the praise and descriptions of the poets' systems as the sons of your time, surrounded by decorations of colored plaster that adorn the walls, Which cover the lower parts of the walls. In 2007, the Alhambra was chosen as part of Spain's 12 treasures in a referendum in which more than 9,000 people voted.

Esperienza fantastica: A place you have to visit sometime in your life. I recommend buying the ticket before planning your trip and be prepared to walk a lot.

Mohammed Shahin 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: The decoration consists for the upper part of the walls, as a rule, of Arabic inscriptions—mostly poems by Ibn Zamrak and others praising the palace—that are manipulated into geometrical patterns with vegetal background set onto an arabesque setting ("Ataurique"). Much of this ornament is carved stucco (plaster) rather than stone. Tile mosaics ("alicatado"), with complicated mathematical patterns ("tracería", most precisely "lacería"), are largely used as panelling for the lower part. Metal was also not present very mainly. Similar designs are displayed on wooden ceilings (Alfarje).Muqarnas are the main elements for vaulting with stucco, and some of the most accomplished dome examples of this kind are in the Court of the Lions halls. The palace complex is designed in the Nasrid style, the last blooming of Islamic Art in the Iberian Peninsula, that had a great influence on the Maghreb to the present day, and on contemporary Mudejar Art, which is characteristic of western elements reinterpreted into Islamic forms and widely popular during the Reconquista in Spain.

Maria Moreno 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: You have to visit this wonder, even once in a lifetime. Everything is super well maintained, preserved, clean and guarded. It is worth going with a guide to explain everything. Since there are stays in the Nasrid palaces that you are, so impressed by the beauty of the place that things can happen to you. I fell in love with this place.

Esperienza fantastica: What to say about this place ... It is the most historic place in Granada and I believe that no one stops going every time he goes there. A wonderful place to spend a great day. It has a lot of charm and is a great place, every time I go I find out something I did not know. Spectacular views
