Esperienza fantastica: Outside is wonderful to just stop and admire. Museum of ceramics some parts very good others over my head. Rooms in the house interesting and mind blowing, ceramic frames on chairs!! Only 3 euro entry fee so worth a visit. Check the opening times as it is closed lunchtime to 4 pm!

Esperienza fantastica: Lovely palace managed to keep the furnishings used by the original nobelman. Amazing and beautiful. But there are steep steps to traverse.

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing place full of history of ceramic, glass and some historical Spanish culture from the royal times

Kuba Jeziorski 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: For a ceramics museum, not much of the ceramics themselves, but there were also many other fantastic exhibits. It should be noted that the museum is closed between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (siesta time). However, after 4 p.m. the entrance is free, which is very cool.

Esperienza fantastica: Palace museum with ornate 18th-century exterior, housing vast collections of ceramics & artworks.

Mark van Veggel 1 year ago

Esperienza positiva: Devi amare piatti e ceramiche in stile barocco. Trascorriamo circa 40/50 minuti all'interno. Così buono per una visita veloce!

Polina Shakirova 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: SUNDAYS FOR FREE The palace is impressive itself, also great pieces of art and interior design inside

Lisa Letto 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: Lovely exhibition of different ceramics and a peak back in time at a different eras and how some lived in luxury. A cute Valencian kitchen on the top floor. Parts of it are like a little palace.

Deve visitare!

Esperienza fantastica: Ticket 3€ adult, on Sunday for free. Wonderful inside and outside. Unfortunately without audioguide.

Esperienza fantastica: Best museum of Valencia. It isn’t not only related to ceramics objects. You learn a lot, especially for the price.

Gerben van Ophuizen 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: Stunning collection in beautifully preserved and themed rooms. It's more of a palace than a museum. Highly underrated.

Esperienza fantastica: Impressive architecture. Guided tour is vrry cheap and even if you don't listen to every audiospot it's probably worth it. Gardens are also very charming

Rachel M 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: Besides its stunning façade, the exhibition inside the museum is worth visiting too. You can scan the QR codes to read the infomation in several languages (Spanish, Valencian, English, French). The entrance is free on Saturday in the afternoon and on Sunday.

Esperienza fantastica: JUST LOOK AT IT! IT LOOKS SO COOL. Seriously if you're in Valencia it is worth the walk to this attraction. Even if you don't go into the museum, (I didn't) just look at this wall/door. It is so cool to look at and admire.

Esperienza fantastica: A wide range of interesting pieces ranging from 18th century carriages to 20th century fine glassware. The house is beautifully preserved and maintained. For only 3€ admission you can see many intricate pieces of ceramics. Brilliant.

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful building and beautiful interiors. Free on weekends of €2 on weekdays. Well worth it.

Esperienza fantastica: This museum has a wonderful collection of ceramics! Beautiful interiors of historic significance. Any Student of Art or pottery/Ceramics will be amazed at the extent of the collection. You can see historical influences that Picasso ( there are a few of his works here) used in the 20th century from the 14th century.

Esperienza fantastica: There are two reasons to visit this museum: the palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas and the artefacts of the museum. The style of the palace is a mixture of rococo and neoclassic style. Although the exterior has been decorated in a most extreme way, it somehow fits. The collection of the museum consists mostly of ceramics but added to that are costumes, paintings and furniture. The two carriages deserve some special attention as well. Free from admission it is one of the more interesting musea of Valencia.

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful, old and aristocratic living quarters. Would appreciate if the qr code would lead to a website and not a pdf.

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent building, amazingly beautiful pieces of ceramics exposed inside. Incredibly beautiful halls and absolutely unique some of the exhibits. One of the best museums in Valencia

Robyn Popescu 2 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: We happened to walk by this museum while visiting Valencia, and discovered this hidden gem. We were so delighted to find this place even MORE happy to discover it was FREE admission. As the name implies, this museum is dedicated to Porcelain amd Ceramics - BUT it is SO much more than that. What first attracted us to this museum was the ornate building. As it turns out, the building was a palace named Palace of the Marqués de Dos Aguas. The museum has been housed in the palace since 1947. The exquisite wall and ceiling paintings throughout entralled me as much as the exhibits. Several rooms of the palace have the original furnishings that highlight their elegance and style. Unfortunately l, all of the signs were in Spanish, but I will attach photos anyway- as I believe they speak for themselves. I highly recommend this museum while in Valencia. Did I mention that it is free? :)

Esperienza fantastica: In my opinion, this palace is a must see not only for the ceramic on display but for the building itself dating back to 15th century, it is considered by historians as paragon of nobility and opulence. I was much impressed with the marble craftmaship among other things

Efrem Efre 2 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Interesting Museo and really beautiful, but problem is because staff are really unprofessional, low comunicate.

Tori 2 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Definitely worth the stop. One of the things I love most about Spain is how the outsides and insides of the buildings are both beautiful often in contrasting ways. The exterior had an intricate carved stone facade while the interior had rooms with opulence reminding me of Versailles.

Suganthini Mahendran 3 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful building the entrance is extravagant. Inside the artifacts are in 3 floors. You need to leave at least an hour and a half to be able to appreciate everything. It’s only a stone throw away from Valencia cathedral. Entrance fee is very reasonable.

Kat Dash 3 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Fantastic place both from the inside and the outside. The entrance fee is just 3 euro and they also gave me 1 euro to use the locker for my bag. The exposition is really nice: interiors on the second floor and ceramics itself on the third. The ceramics is divided by periods — one room for each which simplifies perception. There’s even ceramics by Picasso, so you should definitely see it.

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful museum. Inside and out. Good collection, diversified, the way inside is really pleasant. Also, overwhelming rooms to see. For 2€, why hesitate? :)

Esperienza fantastica: Old school fancy stuff. If you want to see how the high class used to live like, then visit here. You can even take nice pics like I did. Only 2 euro admission.

Esperienza fantastica: Very beautiful building. It's definitely worth going inside.

Esperienza fantastica: I took a random street on my wander around town and found this beautiful gem. It's a 15th century palace that was updated in the 17th century. The details are stunning!

Molly Wang 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Didn't have time to visit inside but the exterior is already very impressive! Just hope people respect the heritage and obey the rules of no touching!

Susan Williams 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing building outside and it doesn't disappoint inside. I'm not that interested in ceramics, but the exhibits were quite interesting. However it's the upper floors that are most beautiful. They are very ornate and have beautiful ceiling paintings and plaster work and the ballroom is particularly lovely. There was a little exhibition on silk production on ground floor and that was a bonus. It's only 3 euros to go in and you'll need one euro for the lockers to store your bags. All the info is in Spanish and Valenciennes. There is no shop or cafe. Well worth a visit, I spent 1:5 hours there.

Esperienza fantastica: Stunning baroque building, worth a visit to see its lavish decorations and stunning interiors

Andrew Saunders 6 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: This is housed in the beautiful, Baroque palace of the Marquis de Dos Aguas. Some of the collection was off, but the higher floors were well worth seeing. They contain the history of the ceramic manufacturing of Spain. It was very interesting. The palace was well worth seeing on it's own, besides the ceramics. It's a double win for the price.
