Esperienza fantastica: Great place to get a dose of reality, I would highly recommend if you are in the area

Esperienza fantastica: Very somber experience walking thru this museum. It shows how close we as a world came horrible more horrible outcome had the the Axis Powers had prevailed. We must always temper our past so we are least likely to make the same errors. Must see museum for all!

Esperienza fantastica: Grande museo, argomenti molto importanti.

Esperienza fantastica: Museo fantastico !! Mi è piaciuto molto, molte informazioni sulle cose orribili sono successe nel mondo ... meglio non andare con i bambini piccoli! Ci sono alcuni video che potrebbero impazzire! Divertiti!

Esperienza fantastica: Very moving experience.

Esperienza fantastica: This was a tough one. And also one I’m glad I made myself do, especially with the world as it is, again. I left feeling moved, a bit fatigued, but also more motivated to take whatever steps I can to make a difference. The museum is laid out to create an experience, and indeed, it does. We can’t let this all repeat again and yet, we see it forming…again, tough but necessary visit.

Esperienza fantastica: Makes you look at things from a different perspective. It's almost all in Spanish

Esperienza fantastica: #VALUE!

Maria Glotova 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: Makes me very emotional. Without recognition there is no memory, without memory there is no justice. So sad it’s happening again. Glory to Ukraine!

Esperienza fantastica: Is.a must when you want to better understand this theme. I recommend guided tour.

Esperienza fantastica: The Museum can give you a lot of peace. It can help you to become aware of duty and responsibility to society. During the tour, its exhibitions make you feel what some people lived years ago and you have to reflect on the importance of human existence. You should visit it, if you want to reconnect with your human essence, could you remember your true purpose as a person. It makes you think about our actions, about how we treat others and what we are doing with our lives. The feeling of peace, joy and love is great and comfortable.

Esperienza fantastica: Must visit place for every one to understand how lucky we are now and how injustice was done and still continue to happen in few places. It covers few places was surprised srilanka tamil issue was not brought up. You will appreciate your freedom more and embrace inclusion in your life if you get lessons out. All the information is in Spanish but the people helped me in navigation and gave heads up that all content is in Spanish. I was recommended by Uber driver as must visit place. It will take around 2 hours to see this place but go with strong heart to see the injustice.

Esperienza fantastica: An amazing experience. The climate stuff was plain American propaganda although beautifully presented. Which tells you it's value as propaganda. Which also tells you that the Jewish piece of the museum was amazing and touching. But not propaganda and it is a must visit as the art rivals any Museum in the world.

Esperienza fantastica: This museum is extremely well done. I was at a loss for words as I moved through it. It’s a wonderful alternative/primer for those who don’t “have the stomach” to visit the Holocaust and NMAAHC in Washington, D.C.

Esperienza fantastica: If you don’t speak Spanish, be sure you get an audio guide. All signs and multimedia are in Spanish. Beautiful museum. Recommended.

Esperienza fantastica: Great museum explaining and showing the tolerance of different human beings living in a single world!

Esperienza fantastica: If you have 2-3 hours and don't know what to do, it's a nice place to go. Los domingos, aunque seas mexicano, también pagas.

Esperienza fantastica: Great experience!. I paid for the tour and the lady who guided us was well informed. You can feel the passion of those who work at the museum. If you have time to spend in the city, also check the museum's website, they always offer free workshops for adults and kids.

Esperienza fantastica: One of the most interesting museums I've gone to in Mexico City. The guided tour is worth taking. It will make you reflect about many aspects of violence in our world. The gift store has some really nice things for souvenirs. There is also a restaurant inside, but plenty of other options around the block as well.

Esperienza fantastica: I cannot recommend this museum enough! I've recently been to a similar exhibition in Santiago and Lima and this is probably the best. It's got so much content and everything is laid out in a very easy flow to the visitor. Admission fee starts at 90 pesos (around 18 dollars - mar/19) for an unguided tour.

Esperienza fantastica: Great museum about genocide and human values. It broke my heart but is strikingly beautiful and well done. It has guided tours. Everyone should go at least once in their life.

Gustavo 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: The layout of the museum is well thought. Most is dedicated to the jewish holocaust, which I found better than the one in DC. The excellent guided tour probably made a difference. After the tour I went back to take a few additional pictures. Highly recommended museum.

Esperienza fantastica: Outstanding exhibitions with well planned distribution. I had walked past the Museum a few times on previous visits and I can't get over the fact that I had missed such a special place. Makes you stop in your tracks, pause and think. The way they get you started at the Holocaust room gives you chills and prepares the atmosphere for what will come. Current events are portrayed and give you pause. Don't miss it.

Esperienza fantastica: Best LGBT + exhibit I have ever seen!

Jaime Garrido 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: I was just there for a temporary exposition about the LGBT community and it was great. Nice info and great use of tech resources. I'd love to go back and check out the rest of the museum.

Esperienza fantastica: A place every human being should visit at least once in lifetime

Luis Enrique 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful and touching museum. Good prices and great discounts if you are a student, teacher, disabled person or elder. It really creates conscience about our past mistakes and makes us reflect about how discriminatory we sometimes are. I visited the LGBT+ temporary exposition and it was beyond perfect, open minded, bias free, educated and moving! ️‍

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent museum on genocide and human rights abuses. an english audio guide is necessary if you don’t speak spanish. Ticket including the guide was 100 pesos. The museum is half about the holocaust with good rooms on other genocides as well. Allow 2 hours if you don’t want to rush.

Raquel Medina 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Great museum, tour is around 3 ½ hours plus the temporary expositions. Very family friendly, there's an area for kids. Highly recommend the audio guide or a personal guide.

Esperienza fantastica: Fantastic! This is a not-to-be-missed museum. We thought that while we were in Mexico City it would make more sense to go to museums that feature the local culture and history. But I am so glad that we discovered the Memory and Tolerance Museum. It is incredible - especially the exhibit on genocides around the world. They have headphones that describe most things in English too, which is a nice bonus for those of us who are language-challenged. The price of the museum is more than reasonable, and the gift shop has some nice bargains, as well. It's a very short walk from the Palace de Belles Artes, and you know you'll be going there! ☺

Esperienza fantastica: An incredible museum with an important message especially during these times. Good value for 100 pesos. I would've appreciated more English signage because even the audio guide didn't include the temp LGBT exhibits.

Roger Daniel Nigenda Morales 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: One of the most amazing museums I've ever visited. The information is so detailed, the ambient and decoration are the best to make you feel the vibe the museum is supposed to communicate. The original Polish train car is one of the most awesome and disturbing things I've ever seen. It's a must to really make conscience. Probably not very attractive for kids under 13. Besides the location couldn't be better. I totally loved it!!

Rosemary Baez 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent museum! Very powerful with great use of technology. Can be very emotional and sad but the last section offers ways for you to make a positive difference. Take your time, read the displays, and watch the video clips.

Juan Herrera 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: I visited the LGBT+ exhibit, it was a amazing sample of the progress (and all the more needed) the LGBT community has made not just in Mexico but around the world.

Esperienza fantastica: The museum is really good made and interesting. Dealing with hard topics, but so important to know. I recommend it to everybody that visits the city. Bring a jacket!!! We felt it super cold inside......

Esperienza fantastica: When you are there, pfff you will not stop to cry

Lorena Stalinsky 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: The museum staff here was amazing. I felt suddenly overwhelmed when going through the genocide exhibit, and even though I wasn't able to communicate this in Spanish, the staff there could see my distress and walked me through the exhibit to the exit, and asked if I needed medical attention. They were very caring and concerned, even though I couldn't speak fluent Spanish. I loved the coffee shop also. The architecture was lovely, both inside and out. Definitely worth a visit when going to Mexico City.

Scott Dombrowski 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: A moving museum that's far more expansive than it appears. It covers a broad array of human rights topics in interesting and engaging ways. The only downside for some tourists might be the lack of English information for many exhibits.

Adrian Carrera 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: This is a really good museum, come and learn about genocide, the entrance is kind of weird since you have to deal with many homeless guys (some of them are kind of crazy and don’t like foreigners...) but once you get in is an incredible place.

Mari Mogstad Eri 5 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Great museum! The best exhibit about the Holocaust that I have seen outside Europe. Very moving and informative. Furthermore the temporal LGBT+ exhibit is an absolute must. Fantastic! More information in English would have been nice though.

Taryn Kitchen 6 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Fascinating museum with a lot to learn. Very dynamic and thorough exhibitions about historic genocides and modern efforts against discrimination. We thought we'd only spend an hour or two there but ended up spending five! (the audio guide was very helpful if you don't speak Spanish because it translated the various videos)

Isa Alonso 6 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful museum, with a great exhibition, really nicely laid out with quality material and a truly insightful guided tour

Andy Martinez 6 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: If any museum in existence has a purpose, it's to educate anyone that walks it's halls. This one in particular emphasizes the importance of learning from past mistakes, how we let atrocities be carried even when they could have been prevented. There is also an exhibit highlighting the abuse against woman, allowing our youth to continue to grow with a poor education in regards to equality.

Amy Juarez 6 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Really great museum, I would go again if I have the chance

Genevieve H 7 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Wonderful museum with extremely well thought out exhibitions. Some sections have translations in other languages. One of the most comprehensive museums on the Holocaust, but also includes many other unfortunate events in history. Very thought provoking place. Beautiful restaurant area if you want to take a break.
