Esperienza fantastica: It is small but it surprises you a lot, you have to make an appointment to enter, it is totally free. Our guide Julián was a charm, he explained everything to us very well and he tells it to you as if you were listening to a news story, you do not lose concentration on what you are seeing.

Esperienza fantastica: Small museum but it is curious. Knowing part of the history of your city is highly recommended.

Esperienza fantastica: Incredible the ruins and the guided tour by Javier. I have to say that this man explains everything great and on top of that he makes the younger children interested. I have been on many guided tours but I have to say that I have never seen a guide so dedicated and professional in his work. Congratulations.

Esperienza fantastica: Highly recommended, although it can be seen from the metro, I recommend making the visit to learn about the history of the ruins, very well explained by the guide Javier.

Esperienza fantastica: I recommend the free guided tour that this museum offers to everyone, because the guide of this museum has been wonderful in explaining the history of this site. His speech was very easy to follow, in addition the environment that the guide created around him was very pleasant, making jokes from time to time that allowed him to rest a bit. The visit ends with a curious video that concludes the theme of the museum.

Esperienza fantastica: Museum more than recommended to visit. The guide Javier is a real machine, super nice and explains everything in detail and very well.

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent improvised museum in a place of the Ópera Metro station, next to the platform of Line 2 towards Ventas. It presents the ruins found of the old Peral pipes, sewage system, aqueduct and other water collection and distribution system built more than 400 years ago and that have been recovered in the excavations when installing the elevators for the metro in that station. It corresponds to the level of the street that existed at that time, before raising the entire floor of the current square when the Royal Theater was built. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (preferably by appointment), there are free guided tours with magnificent explanations from a great guide named Javier.

Esperienza fantastica: Amazing museum that we really liked. The history of Madrid was well explained and we really enjoyed it. The Javier Guide is a pleasure to listen to and shows us a lot of interesting facts.

Esperienza fantastica: A small museum of the Madrid metro where they have unique pieces of three historical pieces of the city of Madrid. One of the sources of the Caño del Peral (of the six, only this one is preserved), the sewage system and finally the Amaniel aqueduct. The latter is very interesting since you see the aqueduct in the middle and the guide explains how it works. This museum is free but can only be visited with a guide. Tickets must be obtained by appointment through the museosmetromadrid website. The guide will tell you everything very well explained. The view is very interesting since you will learn part of the history of Madrid.

Esperienza fantastica: Highly recommended museum, archeology on the waters of Madrid, the best thing is the guide that explains it to you, makes the visit very pleasant and interesting, it is also free!

Esperienza fantastica: Super interesting the visit and the history that the guide told us. It's worth going. The children liked it very much. Too bad it's small and they haven't been able to preserve more of the opera ruins.

Esperienza fantastica: A good menu in a beautiful place.

Esperienza fantastica: I have visited this small museum, but for the most interesting. A rich history of the town of Madrid is hidden in this small space.

Fernando Alpi 1 year ago

Esperienza fantastica: Our guide Javier is the best, you have made a visit that perhaps would not be the most interesting in the best guided tour of the metro museums.

Esperienza fantastica: Curious interlocking, recommended guided tour to learn a little history of Madrid.

Esperienza fantastica: 10 underground, a museum in the middle of the metro station.

Esperienza fantastica: Spectacular explanation of the guided tour. What I liked the most about this small museum was being able to see the aqueduct in its cross section. If you are going to see it, I recommend that you book the guided tour, it is free and you book online!

Esperienza fantastica: Very interesting to know what Madrid was like in its almost origins. Everything that the guide told was very curious and clear. Beautiful place not to be missed

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent tour part of the Metro Museums and located at the Ópera station. By appointment, you can access a guided tour and audiovisual tour of the fountain, sewer and aqueduct in the center of Madrid from the time of the Habsburgs and which worked until the 19th and 20th centuries. The original material heritage dates back to the 16th-17th centuries, made up of three unique vestiges of Renaissance and early modern civil architecture. The explanation of the guide Javier is highly recommended. This visit is part of the Metro Passport tour.

Esperienza fantastica: The guided tour is very enjoyable, the exotic guide all very detailed.

Esperienza fantastica: A 10 for the guide. I don't remember his name but he is young with medium hair. In addition to transmitting his knowledge, he interpreted them as a theater actor. A 0 for visitors who had reserved a place and did not attend. There are only 25 places per shift and there were 9 of us. I got the last two. It is very difficult to get tickets in some subway museums to waste them like this.

Esperienza fantastica: An unknown museum for the vast majority that is the history of how water management in Madrid was fundamental in the development of the capital when King Felipe II moved the capital from Toledo. Very interesting your visit

Esperienza fantastica: A visit to Caño del Peral, interesting and enjoyable talk by the guide. Discover an unknown museum in Madrid.

Esperienza fantastica: Interesting museum, small, what is preserved is worth seeing, dates back centuries, and takes us back to the way of life of that time.

Esperienza fantastica: Excellent experience, the guided tour has been splendid

Esperienza fantastica: Construction sites in big cities often uncover interesting places like this. If you are interested in the history of Madrid and the history of the metro, the visit is very illustrative. From the outside it is barely visible. It is better to do the guided tour organized by Andén 0, a kind of entity that manages the different museums of the Madrid metro.

Esperienza fantastica: History of Madrid that you have to know. Very interesting visit. Javier, the guide, exceptional.

Esperienza fantastica: It is only open on weekends and free admission must be booked in advance. The guide Javier told us the whole story in a very entertaining way and everything was very interesting. We learned a lot of things that we didn't know.

Esperienza fantastica: Nice museum in the opera metro station. Small but where they explain how it was found and what it was. Free entry and guided tour and very well explained by the guide.

Esperienza fantastica: The museum is worth a visit because although it is not very big it is beautiful. But without a doubt, what makes it extraordinary are the explanations of the guide Javier, which were fabulous.

Delia Garcia 2 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Wonderful explanation by the guide in charge of this museum and thanks to him, both children and adults have enjoyed a trip through the history of Madrid that was unknown to me. Super grateful for putting all your interest and telling the story in such an enjoyable way.

Esperienza fantastica: I came a bit late and found it closed. Tomorrow I will put more photos if I can. But it is already an original point where it is located. But watch the video. It is a museum, yes, 10 meters underground. If you are going from the Sol metro station, change to line 2 (the red one) and one stop Opera. This is the station of this museum. An Exciting and Real Story. Let us remember that this area is the Madrid of the Austrias. I have to say that along with this there are only two metro stations, with this detail, just like the O station, Chamberi station, the ghost station !. That you can't miss it either. Look on Google Maps and then run to have fun.

Esperienza fantastica: Il più grande museo sotterraneo di Madrid!

NGP NGP 3 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: It is true that it is small, but it is a bit of history of Madrid. They are currently open from Thursday to Sunday. On weekends there are "guided tours", I think every hour, but I can't assure you because it was a surprise for us and we arrived just 10 minutes before it started. With a guide the visit lasts about 15 minutes. You can add another 10 if you stay to watch any of the videos. In our case, the guide was very nice, explained everything with interest and answered the different questions that were asked, without hesitation at any time.

Pepe Cuesta (Pepe Domus) 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: An amazing corner within the Opera Metro. It looks very fast, 15 minutes, although it is worth spending a little more time and watching the explanatory videos that tell you about the history of Madrid and the meaning of the remains that are seen. Note that it only opens a couple of days a week. Is free.

Sergio Núñez López 4 years ago

Esperienza fantastica: Very interesting museum to visit inside the Opera station. Apart from archaeological ruins, there are projections where they explain things about the Museum.
