🗣️ Museo Naval: Opinioni
Esperienza positiva: I went with the school and I liked it
Esperienza positiva: small but beautiful
Esperienza fantastica: We had a pleasant experience visiting this museum. Admission is free and the tourist office did not even notify us of its existence, a very serious mistake, since I think it is very worth your visit. From the moment we entered the door, the staff treated us in an extraordinary way and each explanation they gave us made all the material they have there come to life and make sense. Thank you very much for everything.
Esperienza fantastica: Museum next to the naval base of Gran Canarias. The lovely museum people. They have a multitude of very interesting objects, old world maps, portolans, naval measurement elements, weapons... and even a torpedo that was loaded inside the submarine U167 sunk in Las Burras.
Esperienza fantastica: Interesting mix of military and civilian naval certificates.
Esperienza fantastica: I went with my father, since he is very studious on this subject. In my opinion, it is not given the publicity it deserves since, although it is small, every square meter it has is used. In it, we had an explanation from an admiral throughout the visit, who explained important objects or facts as well as curiosities. I also learned a lot about marine, since the boy was very nice and liked to share knowledge. Recommended 100 by 100. When I went the entrance was free, even so it gave me something to leave without paying since I deserved a ticket. They told us that they were going to create a much larger museum, since it needs spaces to exhibit explanations, but there was this boy.
Esperienza fantastica: A friendly gentleman guided us through the small but interesting museum. Numerous beautiful ship models and other nautical exhibits can be seen. Almost everything is in Spanish but a member of staff was kind enough to translate into English for us. Very nice!
Esperienza positiva: Museo molto interessante
Esperienza fantastica: Molto interessante
Esperienza fantastica: I have loved the museum and the treatment received by the staff. They have been very kind to us. I have taken my father for his birthday and they have treated him very well, explaining each part of the museum and naval history in detail and with great interest. For me a 10.
Esperienza positiva: A curious collection of very successful models and exquisite treatment.
Esperienza positiva: Nice museum for an hour
Esperienza fantastica: I liked how they explain and detail everything, it is interesting to know it.
Esperienza positiva: Illustrious sailors, reflected by an illustrious painter: D. Tomás Gómez Bosch
Esperienza positiva: Good mockups. I miss non-military naval content, as well as include the history of the port of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I also think that it would be good to have audiovisuals and interactive material to attract the interest of the youngest.
Esperienza fantastica: Molto interessante
Esperienza fantastica: Posto interessante per Hystory of Marine e Gran Canaria Port. Desidero fare abbonamento in inglese.
Esperienza fantastica: A little solemn for taste but interesting and free. I recommend it
Esperienza positiva: Beautiful and interesting.
Esperienza fantastica: Interesting museum in Las Palmas, where you learn a lot about naval history, with very well crafted ship models, but little publicized. The staff that showed us treated us excellently.
Esperienza fantastica: It is a simple, but very interesting museum, in which you can learn many things about the city of Las Palmas, about the Canary Islands, and about the history of Spain. Your staff is very attentive and very nice.
Esperienza fantastica: Excellent place to know our history. Very good care. Excellent reception of all responsible. Highly recommended to go with groups of teenagers.
Esperienza fantastica: Museum with signs in Spanish, but there is a special guide that follows you
Esperienza fantastica: Small museum but full of history, if you enjoy naval themes, you must visit it on your trip to Las Palmas.
Esperienza fantastica: Very beautiful and curious. Exquisite visitor attention
Esperienza fantastica: A wonderful experience and wonderful staff attention
Esperienza fantastica: Viaggia con le acque
Esperienza fantastica: wooo
Esperienza fantastica: The boats are very well maintained
Esperienza positiva: The Canarian Naval Museum is located in the Arsenal of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria facilities and collects the History of the Canary Islands Maritime Zone since its creation in 1940 as well as other naval issues related to the Canary Archipelago. Among the exhibits, the historical flags of the Villacisneros, El Aiún and La Güera Assistantships stand out, which were lowered during the evacuation of the Spanish Sahara in 1975 and 1976. In the Méndez Núñez room, suits and diving suits for deep-sea divers are exhibited. A manual machine to give air to divers, manufactured in London in 1914, deserves special attention. The Marine Corps is represented with weapons, uniforms and material from this Corps. The museum also preserves models of ships from the 18th century, such as the San Juan Nepomuceno –where Admiral Churruca died–, the Santa Ana and the San Felipe, and other more modern ones such as the Juan Sebastián de Elcano.
Esperienza positiva: I recommend visiting it at least once in life, and especially for children
Esperienza fantastica: Nice museum, with many interesting exhibits. Admission for children free, for adults 4.5 euros
