🗣️ Yper Museum: Opinioni
Esperienza fantastica: What a wonderful museum that was. Get to know the city of Ypres in a very educational way. With all kinds of videos and screens. Also very child friendly museum. Recommended.
Esperienza fantastica: Nice museum with accessible information. It has enriched our knowledge of Ypres and Belgium in general. But most of all it was just fun.
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice little museum with an interactive and fun museography and scenography. The presentation makes it possible to interest children (and adults). So do not hesitate to take the combined ticket with the in Flanders Field Museum
Esperienza fantastica: Ottimo posto per camminare
Esperienza fantastica: #VALUE!
Esperienza fantastica: Beautiful exhibition from the former Yper to the present.
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice interactive museum. Funny approach, very neat and nicely executed. Kids thought cat quest was the max! Recommended!
Esperienza fantastica: Love how they make it appealing to the kids with the different quests, the games and don't forget the great history video!!
Esperienza fantastica: A very nice building with very friendly workers. What else do you want? The temporary exhibition about the cat was the hit for me. This is a museum that is at home in all markets. Good for children and playfully conceived, but also interesting old elements due to the traditional context and architecture.
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice museum, definitely recommended for children! Even our daughter of 4 had a lot of fun for 2 hours!
Esperienza fantastica: Nice interactive exhibition so that our children aged 7 and 5 also had to actively search for information. Also nice videos and nice that everything is under one theme.
Esperienza fantastica: Super beautiful beautiful. Much respect for the administration of the city of Ypres in order to make the halls and the museum visit pleasant and very instructive for visitors. I'm from Ghent, and I have to admit with full conviction that the city council of Ghent can do something about this.
Esperienza fantastica: Temporary exhibition about the Cat is interesting. The part of the exhibition about Ypres history contains too much reading material and is therefore long-winded.
Esperienza fantastica: Super cool museum! Interactive, clear explanations (good amount) and with a touch of humor. Highly recommended! Exhibition 'Cat' was definitely worth the effort!
Esperienza fantastica: Nice museum about the history of Ypres. Beautiful and very interactive. Our criterion is always: does the exhibition bring things to life or not and this one totally does. The exhibition Poes, which was included, was certainly worth the effort. Corona replaced the interactive part by a very clear and complete guide. Well done!
Esperienza fantastica: Top museum. Very modern, very nice videos. Everything very well, understandable and explained chronologically. 1st WO is rightly skipped. I read and watched everything in 2.5 hours. You can use the Museumpas and Uitpas here. During corona you have to book online. I had the museum to myself alone on a Tuesday morning!
Esperienza fantastica: Very interesting museum. Shows the history of Ypres very well. Enjoyed the humor hidden in it
Esperienza fantastica: The Yper Museum is not to be confused with IFFM (In Flanders Field Museum). They are located next to each other in the former cloth hall of Ypres. We visited the museum because of the temporary exhibition 'Poes'. You first go through the permanent exhibition about Ypres. Very educational, modern and child-friendly. Then you have the exhibition over Cats through time and then a floor higher to view another part of the museum.
Esperienza fantastica: Great fun with kids. Very interactive with the many tablets with fun games and a super funny historically correct movie!
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice, beautiful and original. Interactive parts are great fun
Esperienza fantastica: Rain alternative with 3 and 1 year old son and daughter. He really enjoyed the games and cat quest!
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice museum about the history of Ypres ... Definitely recommended with children ...
Esperienza fantastica: This museum gives you an overview of Ypres through time, interesting to see how the city played its role in history. For the children there is a special search for all the cats in the museum and there are games in between tailored to their needs. Both we and the children enjoyed the visit to this museum. You can combine this with the 'In Flanders Fields' museum.
Esperienza fantastica: With every visit you will see something that you had missed last time(s). Also with children definitely worth the effort. Beautiful works of art and this year the temporary exhibition 'CAT' is really great
Esperienza fantastica: Nicely conceived exhibition, just picked up the temporary arrangement about "The cat".
Esperienza fantastica: Surprisingly educational, presented in a fun way, for young & old.
Esperienza fantastica: Gripping, when you see how many lives have been given, and beauty destroyed.
Esperienza fantastica: Small but interesting display.
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice and child friendly
Esperienza fantastica: You can see a number of beautiful things in this museum, the council chamber alone is worth the effort. The setup is a bit too busy, there is sound from all sides. The welcome is friendly. There is a lift to the two floors.
Esperienza fantastica: Educative and Interactive for children!
Esperienza fantastica: People are amazed where those testimonials and photos, paintings all come from. Finally, you can have an old-fashioned picture drawn, thank you. A photo of 1920 that they send by email to your address ... They kissed that already! Witty
Esperienza fantastica: Fun, interesting for young (6 year old son) and old!
Museo molto qualitativo.
Esperienza fantastica: Good value for money
Esperienza fantastica: Compact museum, spread over 3 floors, with a lot of information about the history of Ypres. Incredibly fun and interactive for young and old. Even our 1 year old son had a great time thanks to the projections, models and looking for the kitten with an (NFC) bracelet. Definitely recommended with children. Easy to do within 2 hours. Also with a pram or wheelchair.
Esperienza fantastica: Yper Museum is just fantastic! Here a beautiful view of the city from the Middle Ages to today .. Very interactive and a gem for children. Playfully they discover the story of Ypres here. A museum for young and less young
Esperienza fantastica: Visited with grandchildren 7 and 9 y, was very pleasant and exciting, also a warm welcome from the very friendly and helpful staff
Esperienza fantastica: Very interesting history of Yepres
Esperienza fantastica: What a fantastic fun museum for adults and children. Because of the many DIY assignments for children from 5-6 years, they will not be bored for a second. The younger children can then feed their eyes and help with brother or sister.
Esperienza fantastica: Very ingeniously constructed. And child friendly! OUR new Museum is beautiful and educational!
Esperienza fantastica: For a city that is full of the First World War, this is a welcome change. You will learn a lot about the history of Ypres in a well-designed and interactive exhibition. The big question for us remained only, why is Ypres also called the cat city?
Esperienza fantastica: The history of the city of Ieper / Ypres / Ypres over eleven centuries prepared exciting. Much interactive with Leon, the hangover and virtual inhabitants of the city. With the cat bracelet you can activate spoken texts. Nicely made especially for children. Definitely visit.
Esperienza fantastica: Very nice museum for children and adults. The slightly older children also loved doing the assignments!
Esperienza fantastica: Very attractive for children, really worth it. By coincidence visited by an unexpected downpour, hub definitely recommended!
Esperienza fantastica: Very interesting and well put together
Esperienza fantastica: Solid new addition to Ypres! It doesn't always have to be world war 1.
Esperienza fantastica: Family visit with two children aged 8 and 6. Great welcome. The scenography is very well done. Special mention for the rather funny little animated film in the projection area on the 2nd floor. Everything is also very well studied for the children: they have a bracelet which gives them access to puzzles on a tablet throughout the course to win a small gift at the shop at the end of the visit.
