🗣️ NEMO Science Museum: Meningen
Very fun museum for both young and old. Even the toilets has some fun facts. We went there for 3 hours. But were just half way the museum.
What an extraordinarily spectacular museum! Kids of all ages (and adults too!) will have a great time exploring the 5 floors of interactive exhibits. Everything is very well organised and well researched and executed. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, and an extra star for the hospitality at the reception. It's a MUST visit when you are in Amsterdam whether or not you like visiting museums. There's so much to learn here! PS: don't miss Ai Wei Wei's exhibit on the ground floor near the reception
We went here because it was part of the I am card that we purchased. Our kids 9 and 11 did love it and it’s got a lot of cool stuff. Best hands on science museum I have every seen
It's all about science! Great for kids to adults. Not much to do for toddlers. Nice view of the ocean and city from the rooftop.
We went there around 4 pm and it was Friday and it was full of kids we didn't expect that tho but it was a cool museum. The guy at the entrance was soooo nice he really loves doing his job and he makes everyone smiles We didn't do much there just walked around. But at the end I would love to go back again maybe next time when it's not too busy!
We had a blast! One day is not enough to really see and try everything, because there are a lot of things to do there. Very interactive and informative. Perfect for small kids, big kids and parents as well. A nice play area on top of the museum, with a nice view of Amsterdam. The resurant was good with choices of food for the small ones.

If you have kids, you must go to NEMO museum! about a 15 minute walk from the central train station. inside are 4 floors of interactive hands on things to do and done in such a way that is educated as well as fun! we could have easily spent all day here but we only had 2.5 hours because we needed to be elsewhere. Cafes located on almost every floor, but the best cafe to go to is on the top floor! You will see when you get there! Lots of toilets and a place to store your bags if you don't want to take them around with you (.50 cents to hire). There is also a cool gift shop at the exit.
The experience is amazing and worth its price. You'll see plenty of science experiments, and age friendly interactive activities. They also have a terrace with a lovely view where you can enjoy a coffee or their lemon muffin (it's a must to try).
It’s a must-visit if you have kids. It gives them a great opportunity to explore and experiment numerous scientific theories There are 2 cafeterias on location, pretty decent If the weather is fine, go to the terrace on the fifth floor where the kids can enjoy the water play
This place was probably the coolest and most engaging museums i have ever been to. It offers a wide range of scientific content covering everything from Biology to Astronomy. The level of engagingness makes it very attractive for children what makes it a great family visit. There are also live performances of a chain reaction in the museum that demonstrates the basics of kinematics. With 3 floors there is also a lot time to spend aswell. It took us 3hours to walk through the museum entirety. Also large and free lockers made our stay very comfortable. Tickets are also low cost and available over their website. All in all Huge recommend

It was a pleasant visit, the staff was extremely friendly. The exposition is both good for younger and older generation, you can easily spend 1 - 2 hours there. I would recommend this place.
It is very nice museum that cover a lot of aspects. If you have kids, I think this might be good option as well. I saw lots of family went to this museum. But if you want to really have your own time to explore all of those experiments, I might suggest to visit during the weekdays
The best school year ending EVER. 4 floors of joy, experiments, wonders, discoveries. Each theme has its' own reflection from pure science to human body. We didn't even noticed that 6 hours passed by. A tip: you can take some food with you and save some time and money for the whole family. A business idea for the NEMO: you can expand the range of clothes for kids during the summer season, as the water fun on the roof makes all kids just completely soaked from head to toe
Very kid friendly museum. Lots of explanations and kids activities around human evolutions and economical development. Chemical experience done in laboratory including participations from visitors. Very friendly staff. The Museum is exposed on 3 floors near the sea in a very unique architectural building and the last floor has a restaurant with terrasse on the 4th and last floor. Very important: Tix needs to be purchased on the ground floor. But access to the Museum is possible from the last floor. Infact, the restaurant is accessible by walking upstairs by outside stairs but no tickets available upside
Great experience for adults and kids not too busy because of timeslots. So much to see and do. At the rooftop restaurant with a view.
Give your kid a chance to unlock wonderful world of science. I think adult can enjoy equally, must visit place for science lover unlike age group Wait time Up to 10 min … More
Decent ambiance. Good place for small meet or to catch up with someone. Nice staff, always found someone who spoke in English.
Quite interesting place to visit it for children and adults. It will be educational for children and fun for adults. You can easily spend the whole day here and not notice how time flies.
Great place for kids. Ours are 4 and 5 years old. They both had an incredible time. Science, technology and innovation is explained in a playful, thoughtful and simple enough way for the little ones to understand (most of it). Plus: it's interesting as a parent as well! There's interactive equipment everywhere and the staff are the friendliest people you'll meet in Amsterdam.

Marvelous experience. Highly engaging with lots of activities to do for every age, that too in multiple science sub-domains. It has both fun activities and learning oriented tasks. I checked various forums for how much time wil be required to cover all activities in the museum, and 3 to 4 hours were advised. If you are a science lover or knowledge seeker like me, I recommend one full day for Nemo. It has 3 floors, so adequate time is required to cover all activities. Then every 90 minutes there is a small show for engaging kids, which takes 15 minutes. There is also a restaurant on top floor with good view of canals and ships docked. Overall, a must visit worth spending money.
A wonderful place to spend 1 (or 2) whole day here with 5+ kids. It's so smartly designed and curated that a kid can enjoy the museum with a different level of interest at each age from 5 to 12. There's a live chain reaction show (bilingual in Dutch and English) twice a day. I recommend to learn the exact timing of the show and coincide with your visit.
As adults we had fun and we've learned new things. I can only imagine how cool is for kids, especially with all the experiments they can do. Very nice time spent here.

I only visited the rooftop. If you are looking to get the paranomic view of Amsterdam city I highly recomment it. On a sunny day its a perfect place to sit and watch the city. There is also a food court for food and drinks.
If you don't buy a ticket for the museum, you have a long walk up the steps on the right side of the roof, up to the bar / cafe. It's worth the walk and tiring either. You get fantastic views of Amsterdam and it is a very pleasant way of spending an hour or two.
Seriously beautiful from the outside!! Enjoyed going here with my nephews and getting to interact with them on so many activities that actually taught them things. So entertaining, fun, engaging and educational! We watched the chain reaction presentation twice and even without speaking Flemish we were able to understand and appreciate it.
Although it's kids oriented there are still many things to explore as far science and natural processes. Well organized and entertaining. Will be definitely interesting. The entry ticket is 17.5 euros. And also there are lots of kids, so it's quite noisy
Very well organized and maintained museum. It's good for 6years and above but even toddlers can enjoy by running around and exploring. It is divided into sections like Space, Atoms, Human body etc., Special mention about the restaurant. It's on the top, you don't need to visit museum to access the restaurant. It got nice paranomic view of Amsterdam. With museum pass you can visit with kids each section at a time to fully experience it
