Great museum. Worth a visit . Good access for wheelchairs & pushchairs. Nice toilets too! It's right at the end of the harbour & is a lovely walk along. Lots to see, mostly people watching.

Surprinsingly interesting. Even for a jeans and T-shirt kind of guy. The museum also helps connect the dots between fashion and international politics.

Great experience in Getaria! You would enjoy both the exhibition and the view. Moreover, parking in that area is good option for next traveling down in the port.

Great exposition and exhibition of the origins and work of one of the greatest designers ever. Balenciaga deserved a building like this one. The architecture is a highlight of Balenciaga's work and this museum is a great building for Getaria. Nice and kind people too.

A great place to visit

Fantastic museum. Great collection of Balgnciaga's work from earliest days to end and good descriptions. Architecture of the building is also wonderful. Balenciaga would have been proud.

This museum is the perfect setting to appreciate the work of the great master Balenciaga. Like his work it is a modern, minimalist and very elegant place. The rooms are organized chronologically in beautiful black cubes. The low light and controlled temperature make it a sublime experience. Definitely a must if you enjoy beauty, mastery and creativity.

Wonderful heritage for someone who was so influential in fashion from 1915 to 1968

If you’re reading this, you’re probably into fashion so let’s skip over that. This small museum provides a personal and detailed account of the incredible accomplishments of Cristobal Balenciaga, spanning times of economic depression, wars, and oppression. It all adds up to what was to become one of the world’s most renown fashion houses in the world There are many examples of new styles of the times and how that legacy survives his creator even in today’s designs by the house. If you decide to take it all in, it will consume no more than three hours, while you could probably achieve most of the experience in well under two. Enjoy!

A very interesting museum, great architecture and a lot of breathtaking dresses that give a very comprehensive overview about the changes in style during the 20th century. The lighting is very impressive and dramatic.
