Haggin has an AMAZING "antique" historical section of its Museum!!!! All of the FINE ART is amazing as well!!! I enjoyed it so much!!! xoxo Sugar aka Emily Manteca Artist Guild President
This place is fantastic. The docents are knowledgeable, the art is amazing, and the historical educational opportunity is rich and vivid. What a great place for an outing with your child (or groups of kids). Just make sure you're not in a hurry. Give yourself (and them) PLENTY of time to really explore the areas they find most interesting.
A fascinated little boy walked there often, forty years ago. Fifteen years later, he became a history teacher, in part because of the wonderment of the Haggin (Pioneer) museum.
This is a must visit if you want to see the history of Stockton. From paintings to vintage photographs to Native Americans history. Super cheap and it will take a good amount of time to see all three levels. Check it out
I was a weekend docent. I met some wonderful people who were very interested in our beautiful museum.
This is a hidden gem!
Excited my expectations A must see!
Today they having a private event, some areas closed. I like to go there, because even that is small museum it has a variety of nice and beautiful art.
Excellent collection. A must see museum if you are in the Stockton area. 8 bucks d or adults, money well spent.
First time here! It was exquisite, loved all the artwork! Highly recommend it!
Caught the last days of crazy family photos display. Hilarious. See Stockton's history and the people who made it.
It was extremely boring dont go
Very exquisite, clean and amazing.
Awesome experience probably the best that Stockton has to offer. If you have any interest in art or local history this place is a must-go. Good for kids too.
A gem in Stockton! If you appreciate Norman Rockwell, be sure to catch the exhibit of his friend and mentor J. C. Leyendecker, who actually painted MORE Saturday Evening Post covers than did Rockwell! Leyendecker gave us the New Year' s Eve baby, the concept of giving flowers on Mother's Day, and the handsome Arrow Collar Man! Leyendecker's style is wonderful, and the Haggin probably has the second largest collection in the world of this work, behind only the National Museum of American Illustration, in Newport, Rhode Island. Be sure to catch this American Master!
This is a WONDERFUL PLACE You have to visit!.
Wonderful place for a day outing with your children. I have been visiting since my grammar school trips in the 1950s. I now visit with my grandchildren. Well worth your time. Recommend for all ages.
This is one of my favorite parks, not only can you see the wildlife, flowers, and ponds, they have an amazing play are for the children and of course the museum! Also this park is a bit more safe with all the traffic than some of the other secluded parks in Stockton. We all need to stick together and help others in the time of need as well... even if thats just picking up your phone and dialing 911, every life matters! Please remember that. Stay strong we will get through all obstacles if we all work together as one!
Haggin museum cool place to check out.
Always some cool art being displayed here, the museum also supports the local art scene.
Love it, always interesting and fun.
It's been 20 to30 yrs concert I have seen inside but I'm sure it's still imakulent
Amazing collection of American engineering as well as the arts.
One of the best museum with the paintings created from 1800... recommend to visit.
This is a wonderful and must I say beautifully remodeled museum. Nice for the family visit. A Stockton gem.
Fantastic little museum. Great value for $8.
Fantastic museum, hope to visit again sometime. Surprisingly quiet, a hidden gem of the greater Bay Area with some fantastic art and history of the Stockton area.
Truly awesome spectacular and Stockton growth
It was a wonderful experience for me visiting the Haggin Museum...the art is beautiful and the staff is friendly and verry knowledgeable...will definitely come back!
This is my favorite park in Stockton. Probably becuz I've been going here since a kid. Nice area, multiple bbq areas around the park, and lots of ducks. :)
I recently relocated to Stockton CA, where I am now much closer to my granddaughter, Marissa. On her first visit to my house we did many things. One of our little adventures was to go to the Haggen Museum on N. Pickering at Victory Park. I found it to be a great local find & enjoyed it as much as my granddaughter did. From the park itself to the Rose Garden and all 3 floors of art & history including local historical displays & current artists works, I can't wait to go again.
I drove through Stockton on my way to sacremento and stopped purely to visit this place. I've been desperate to see some Albert Bierstadt paintings and it was completely worth the effort
People have got to come in and indulge in all this art!
“Brilliant art collection” I drove through Stockton on my way to sacremento and stopped purely to visit this place. I've been desperate to see some Albert Bierstadt paintings and it was completely worth the effort
Very clean I loved the basement history of Indian items.
All stars here, I took my family and grandchildren here a few years ago. They all left me and went on up-ahead. I could have spent hours there. They kept rushing me to leave, but I wasn't finished. I hope to donate my car to them someday! I love Stockton!
One of the best museums in all of California
