We went for the Night event & Silent Disco. It was amazing and all the exhibits were free, even the special exhibitions which makes it even better. Always a fabulous time, but this was really cool! We’d never been to a silent disco, 3 different stations to click through, each lighted a different color on the wireless headphones. It was fun to see everyone dancing to different tunes, even funnier when you take the tunes away and watch in silence! hahaha.

An excellent experience, from the art walk steps to the varied exhibits and immersive creative space for children, all offered to the public for free!

I wanted to experience some culture and see the artifacts that were on display from ancient civilizations and various regions throughout the world's time-line of existence of humanity. I honestly only made my way through half of the first floor and can't wait for the opportunity to return and once again immerse myself in the vastness of the museum's exquisite experience. I could spend countless hours indulging in all of the finely detailed exhibits learning about the evolution of humanity throughout time. I think that if we know where we come from maybe we can see a clearer vision of where we need to be going. I thought the museum experience was truly amazing and almost magical.

Beautiful museum full of amazing works of art dated contemporary to the 12th century. The museum is laid out in an easy to follow format. However, it is a huge museum. We spent two hours viewing art on the second floor. We didn't get to enjoy the first floor due to time but plan on finishing it when we return. Admission is free unless you want to view the special exhibits. We opted out of the special exhibits. The cost is ~$10-15. Plenty of parking and free. Highly recommend to art lovers.

Extraordinary opportunity to view world class art in a beautiful environment. Rookwood pottery collection is among the largest of any museum. Terrace lunch location is relaxing, looking over their lovely garden, with delicious food. Any time I visit Cincinnati, I make sure to go. They regularly rotate their exhibits, because only 6% of the museum's total collection fits in the building and is on display at any one time. The free admission is an absolute gift. Go and enjoy!!

It's an amazing experience worth the visit when you're in Cincinnati. Especially when the entry is FREE!! The cafe and lawn is amazing to relax and work at your own comfort. They had different events going on at every corner of the the museum to keep everyone entertained kids as well as adults. The musicans, artist and the staff work effortlessly so that you can have a wonderful experience at the art museum.

Beautiful and varied collection of artwork from all over the world, with an extensive collection of local artists. Loved the way it was currated, it all flowed some nicely.

This is the coolest art museum I’ve been to in a while. The best part about it, it’s completely free! They have so many different pieces and time periods to browse through. This is place where you’ll come back multiple times to get through the entire museum. It’s highly recommended if you’re in Cincinnati!

Great quality and variety of displays! It was free entry because of lower occupancy, and so nice for no cost. Lots to look at. I spent about 2 hours here, and was so happy to see a few pieces by Picasso!

The Cincinnati Art Museum is always a good time, but we just did the Art After Dark and that's even more fun. It's popular though, so get there early.

Nuvo Art is gorgeous. See before it is gone. Stop in the oriental section to see the magic mirror. Love the gift shop. So many items to buy created by artists. Where can you buy art from an artist at reasonable prices

Calling all art lovers! This museum is so massive, I couldn’t even finish it the first time I went (and am looking forward to going back to see even more). I wish all US art museums were like this one. The Cincinnati Art Museum is bursting with an impressive collection of paintings, furniture, artifacts, historical information, and so much more. You’ll want to put on your walking shoes and grab a map for this one. I absolutely loved it.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. Countless works of art to view throughout your time there. So many sections, it gets a little confusing at times because you get lost in the art, but maps are frequently available. Sit down dining is available at the Terrace Cafe in the afternoon. Nice gift shop. Exhibits change frequently. And best of all, it's free! We spent 4 hours walking around here. Definitely definitely worth a trip, and it makes for an amazing date

If I lived closer to this museum I would be here every day. There is so much culture and history in the artwork. Egyptian, Greek, African American, ect. I'm constantly amazed and the similarities between cultures and this place is a wonderful tool for teaching others about the world. Each era is just a room away. You could spend hours just staring at the fine details in the statues. I seriously love this place.

Our wedding at the Cincinnati Art Museum was an absolute dream! Our event coordinator, Katie Mitchell, was so professional and wonderful to work with. We loved having our ceremony outside in the courtyard and our reception inside, the pictures turned out incredible! The pricing was also more affordable than we thought. I would highly recommend having your wedding here!!

Visiting the art museum is always a great indoor and outdoor activity. We park at the bottom of the art climb to enjoy the walk up and to see some amazing sculptures. Plus you'll get in some added exercise. The art room is so fun to play in and my kids love making the crafts along with the take home crafts.

Impeccably curated museum. It’s an incredible experience. Beautiful well selected pieces. And free for the public. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely stop through.

I went to see a special exhibit. The entrance to the whole museum was free. There was a reasonable fee for the retrospective exhibit of Driscoll, an African American artist. His work was amazing. The museum was not crowded (though the main parking lot was full - I’m not sure if the was a secondary lot - but a car pulled out just as we needed it. They have parking for electric cars! So recharge as you need to! Lovely place….can’t wait to go back and explore the permanent collection. Here are my favorites:

Great museum! It truly represents the historic culture of Cincinnati. It also had modern art section. They might add Modern Jewellery section as well in upcoming months. Overall, very nice experience. Must visit.

Did an impromptu family get away. This was an amazing adventure we didn't plan but greatly enjoyed. The art was amazing and had something for everyone in our family. My children are 8 years apart and it is not often they agree on anything. This was one thing they both could enjoy and appreciate. Loved the fact it was free which is amazing for a family of four.

I did not plan on visiting the Cincinnati Art Museum as I had limited time in the city. However, when I had time to fill before heading to the airport, I snuck in a quick visit. I was only able to spend an hour in the museum, so all I saw was the "Paintings, Politics and the Monuments Men: The Berlin Masterpieces in America" exhibit. I was so glad I made time to visit. I have studied the history of the Monuments Men before and many of the artists included in the exhibit. I loved seeing them next to one another and reading more about the politics revolving around these artist masterpieces. Make time in your schedule to see this unique and powerful exhibit. The museum and grounds themselves are also beautiful and well laid out. I will return to see the permanent collection if I ever find myself back in Cincinnati.

Learn some Queen City history. If you have limited time and history, pottery, and art are your interests then stay here as long as possible. I encourage you to lolligag as much as possible. Inside and out. It's a phenomenal place. Just Be. Rookwood pottery company origin is fascinating. Climb the stairs. I spent 3 hours on the first floor So much fun.

The Cincinnati art museum is free! Donations are always welcome! I love visiting our local art museum, because it's probably one of the most beautiful buildings, as well as the art inside... They have a cafe that serves food, a gift shop, and free parking.. What a beautiful place to have a wedding or at least getting photos done here.. They always have new exhibits.. They have elevators and a gorgeous grand staircase!

I visited the Cincinnati Art Museum for the first time and was blown away. The museum was much larger than I expected, it's two floors and took us about 2 hours to get through. General admission is free, but there are exhibits that you have to pay for admission. Parking was also free. I got some really cute handmade paper origami swan earrings in the gift shop, too! Definitely check out this museum if you're in the area!

Nice art museum. Free admission except for special events. Good range of traditional and modern art. Large open spaces with nice places to sit. Small gift shop. The cafe is good for a quick bite.

General admission is free! This museum is a lot larger than it looks from the outside. Every time you enter a room, there’s a new room connecting to it. A very relaxing place to come and enjoy some beautiful artwork.

One of the best museums I have ever been too, not just the art but the experience they trying to create is just amazing. Guests can develop their own tour map of the museum, engage in interactive education about ceramic, stained glass, etc I just love the museum so much. Please donate if you also enjoy it because it’s free!!!
