This is a small museum that has brought some outstanding exhibits to Las Cruces. And the permanent exhibit on display when no other exhibits are mounted showcases many of our local artists well. The Museum also has a number of programs for both adults and children. Most recently I really enjoyed a Painting Party there. These are held in the evening on the first Friday of every month. Ceramics, drawing and painting classes are also offered on a scheduled basis.

great exhibits
Small museum but always with great exhibitions. Definitely worth it to visit! As a bonus, it's connected to the Museum of Nature and Science as well as the Branigan Cultural Center, and all of them are free admission. You can go on a Sunday morning and also visit the farmers market.
Another fine treasure in our museum system. A wide variety of exhibits. Lovely gallery. Excellent selection of art classes.

I exhibited my paintings there, everything was excellent!
Great place to take the kids with the living collection at the museum of nature and science. The railroad museum is fun for children also. Brannigan cultural center gives a good history of the Mesilla valley. The collections are usually historical and cultural. All the museums are great for adults, especially the museum of art. Remember these museums are all really small. Don't think you can spend a day looking at all four museums. But they are special to Las Cruces, small like the city.

I love this place! Exhibitions change regularly , the staff is friendly. The classes that the museum offers are affordable and interesting and are taught by wonderful instructors.

A small but divine display of local artists' work.
My kids love to come here its definitely a fun place for the whole family. They have alot of interactive things to explore and have many classes and programs going on for the little ones to join in on.
