🗣️ Regional Archaeological Museum of Madrid: Meningen
Very interesting and free. Very suitable for a landscape through history, modern and well conditioned. 100% recommended
Well organized, comfortable and clean. Interesting in both temporary and permanent exhibitions. A ten to Ana, the guide who makes the visit more educational and enjoyable. Good museum.
It's great. But you have to go with a little time or you will not be able to appreciate its beauty. If you like archeology and paleontology, you need at least one hour
Small easy to visit... But with a great and instructive collection. A walk through paleontology... The best of Alcalá not to forget during your visit
Second time I visit it. I recommend it to all. This time it was during the Cervantino Market, which I also recommend, and we were practically alone. You have to dedicate several visits to it, like all museums, to see it in depth.
Great discovery, very organized, modernized and a large amount of material and what is important, free admission. Totally recommended if you are in the city give him at least an hour.
A spectacular place, both the building and the exhibition.
Fantastic museum, worth more than one visit. Although the "novelties" have to work better, the spectacular Batallones room is disconnected from the tour.
#VALUE!
If you like history, this museum cannot be missing from your photo album. Quite spacious and with some good rooms where you can experience the story in the first person.
The experience was beautiful...loaded with a lot of history
Good information and quite interesting. It also usually has quite adequate temporary exhibitions. It is not very big but it has enough to have a good time, and its visit is free
A very complete museum, it exceeded all our expectations. High-quality infographics, samples, exhibits and information. Totally recommended, especially if you have been to the MAN, the MAR is a perfect complement focused on Madrid and surroundings.
Quite a surprise. We went to see the river park of Alcalá de Henares and the Heat made us change our plans and enter the city. Walking down the main street we came across the museum which also had a very interesting traveling exhibition. The day of the museums allowed us to see all the rooms more calmly. A plan more than recommended.
Both the permanent and temporary exhibitions on the Roman period are excellent. It is highly recommended to book one of the guided tours. Admission is free, guided tours too. Things to improve: opens at 11 in the morning.
Everything is very well placed and placed. With many screens for you to recreate, for example, it was a Roman house or what agriculture was like, etc. The part of the time of the dinosaurs is phenomenal to see with bones what dimensions the animals were. The temporary exhibition of the Romans is amazing. They explain everything to you and you see all kinds of Roman objects. It is well worth seeing the mosaics with their tesserae.
I loved the very interesting museum, the guide was very kind, I will return another day to visit I recommend it
uitstekend museum
An impressive museum worth visiting. It's free, and the staff that work there are very friendly and attentive and they explain everything great. The site on which it is located is a beautiful building and the exhibits are very well set up and cared for. It is worth visiting.
A great place to travel through history :) Also, when we got there it was free admission! ;-)
Very interesting museum in a large and well-organized space that allows us to discover and learn what life was like in the Madrid region thousands of years ago. Especially noteworthy are the mosaics and the numerous bone remains of extinct animals, as well as everyday objects that help us discover how our ancestors lived. Highly recommended and educational, and above all free. Not to be missed.
Excellent museum... Incredible... The children loved it...
For those who want to know a little more about the history of the Iberian Peninsula, the presence of the Roman Empire and the great influence of Muslim culture. Recommended

Another of the museum treasures offered by the #romancity #alacaladehenares Spacious rooms very well designed with an incomparable archaeological sample. Best of all: free admission. The fossils and other vestiges of ancient civilizations, which are ultimately our ancestors, are impressive. The well-stocked souvenir shop. #safety pin
The museum was wonderful rich of history of al cala de henares. Wait time 1 hr+ … More
Archaeological museum located in an old 17th century convent. It contains some of the best archaeological pieces discovered in the Community of Madrid, and is a benchmark in this type of museum. The visit is free, and it is really worth it. Essential to know the history of Madrid and especially of Complutum
Very interesting and free of charge. Beautiful place.
I thought it was smaller than it really is. I think we spent about an hour and a half visiting everything, it has enough things to see and learn about our ancestors. Admission is free, the people who attended us were very nice at all times. I recommend visiting it if you are from the city or if you are passing through.
They have guided tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the afternoons, every day they explain a room to you and then you can stay and see the rest of the Museum, these guided tours are free, you can see it on the Museum's website. They explain the most important pieces of that Museum with anecdotes and curiosities. I love getting lost from time to time in the Museum.
Very interesting and free to visit
This place is so beautiful! I want to go to this place!

The best Museum in and around Madrid; beautiful building, great paleontological and arqueological collection dating from 400.000 b.c. to medeival age. And: free entrance

A nice museum with exhibitions in it
Super
Museum for ancient artifacts in Alcalas..
Lovely museum. So beautifully set out that translations from Spanish are not needed
#VALUE!
Permanent ehibition is very complete and there are often temporary ones that are extremely informative!
Nice displays, including artifacts of the key eras of development in the region with good explanatory materials. Most in Spanish with some English translations. Worth visiting just for the mosaics.
The admission is free. As is the tour, which is well presented, though only in Castellano. And the well-created exhibits cover pre-historic to modern Spain.
