De Colección del Museo Ruso in Málaga is een verzameling Russische kunst en artefacten die werd verzameld door de Spaanse zakenman, José Luis Sánchez-Cabezudo. De collectie omvat schilderijen, sculpturen, iconen, porselein en andere objecten van de 16e tot de 20e eeuw.
Sánchez-Cabezudo begon in de jaren zeventig Russische kunst te verzamelen, toen hij naar de Sovjet-Unie reisde voor zaken. Hij werd onmiddellijk meegenomen met het rijke culturele erfgoed van het land en in de komende jaren verzamelde hij een belangrijke verzameling Russische kunst en artefacten. In de jaren tachtig besloot Sánchez-Cabezudo zijn collectie met het publiek te delen, en hij opende de Colección del Museo Ruso in Málaga.
De collectie van het museum omvat werken van enkele van de meest gevierde kunstenaars van Rusland, waaronder Ilya Repin, Vasily Kandinsky en Marc Chagall. De collectie bevat ook een aantal belangrijke historische artefacten, zoals een Fabergé -ei en een set imperiaal Russisch porselein.

Very good space with rotated representative collection of the Russian art that is mostly unknown at the Western Europe. Highly recommend!
Great collection of art
Without doubt the most beautiful collection of art work in Malaga. You can easily spend half a day gazing into the different masterpieces that show the formation of Russia and Europe. Aside from the beauty it was a real ch education. The staff are very pleasant and the lighting is superb allowing you to appreciate the micro and macro of these bohemouth master pieces. I would certainly visit again. You can easily walk from the centre of Malaga or the beach front. There's some great restaurants and bars near by.

Definitely worth a visit
Amazing rota of exhibitions with Russian artworks you'd otherwise never get to see. (Great gift shop and decent café as well. But the art is spectacular).
Stunning cars, most of which I'd only seen in books, loved the fashion links and collections. A treat of a museum and absolutely worthy of a visit.

Great museum dealing with all things Russian. Literature, artists and specific collections. Easy to get to from the centre of Málaga by bus n° 7 route. It's beside the Car & Fashion Museum and all in the old tobacco factory.

A very nice museum with fantastic exhibitions of Russian art, I visited the exhibitions of Malevich and Soviet social art in January of 2019, very impressive.
The museum is lovely, the beach is near. The collection from the Russian museum is quite big and very well documented with free audio-guide that allows you to have more insights into the exhibited art.

Must see in Malaga. Perfect collection of russian artists with interesting stories in audio guides in 3 languages: Espaniol, English and Russian.
I have visited Russian Soviet exposition. The items was selected very well, also there was created special Soviet atmosphere by posters, videos, and radios. The place is grate by itself as it located in the place where tobacco factory was sitauated. In the museum you will find 2 very clean WCs, one souvenir shop and cafetery.
