🗣️ Picasso Museum Málaga: Opiniões
Fantastic museum can't be missed if you visit Malaga. It's good value for an spectacular collection of Picasso's life and art.
Great museum. Showing Picasso development into the artist and a wide selection of some of his work. It also gas a good shop. The staff were helpful and friendly. We'll worth a visit.
Extraordinary museum that traces the interests and creative force of Picasso.collection of work not seen elsewhere
Perhaps my favorite visit during my 5 week trip through the UK, France and Spain. Don't miss the chance of seeing and experiencing these wonderful works of art and of comprehending just how much Picasso was such a revolutionary artist in breaking away from all that had come before.
Lovely little museum/ gallery showing a good range of picasso's work. €9 entry per person and free for children.
Little crowded. You should see it
Well worth the trip, a lot of details about his life, he was quite an interesting bloke, and very reasonable entry fee. The audio guide is very helpful if at times a little slow moving
It was great to see such a stunning and expensive paintings of one of the world's famous painter Picasso. You can buy tickets on the day. With gift shops and you can buy poster one of his paintings.
I bought a guide service to visit this museum through a third-party website. As such, I didn't have to wait in the line and it was a very smooth process. Otherwise, I may have had to wait 30+ minutes from the looks of the line in August during tourist season. I highly recommend visiting this museum to see the work Picasso did leading up to Guernica. The air conditioning helped on the hot summer day. It may have even been a little too cold! Overall, the staff were attentive and helpful. They were even gracious to the guide, which I found nice. There is a nice section to buy souvenirs, including children's books.
Explanations of Picasso Art were highly detailed. Some keynotes were stated just beside his paintings and sculptures and they were revealed in unique rooms so it utterly helped us to understand the logic behind his stunning pieces. Can't wait to come back and see
If you like Picasso a must see. Long queue so ideally book in advance - if you have the hop on hop off bus with entrance included no need to wait in the on the day line. Takes about an hour to get round.
Love him or hate him this is a Wonderful exhibition of Picasso's work showing the man really did have a genius of a talent. Some surprising portraits that show not just abstract but the more conventional portraiture. I have my own opinion of Picasso he was a complex man his politics was dubious so was his attitude towards women but I'm pleased I visited this museum as it gave me a different perspective of the man.
Great experience at Pablo Picasso museum and Paula Rego.
Fantastic Museum in fantastic city and seaside visited for a few times always good to spend a few hours in
Well curated exhibition, even if you have already seen some of Picasso's works. The included audio guide is a welcome addition and the building is also remarkable. Booking on line will help to skip the queue.
One of the most significant museums of the birthplace of Picasso. For art lovers and not only, a perfect place to spend time and enjoy the picasso paintings. In my opinion it is worth visiting (maybe a regular weekday), it has 2 collections placed on each floor and one that introduces the possible routes or affects of Picasso. The entrance is 9euro but as far as I know it usually has a temporary collection which you can visit in an additional fee. The only thing that I found extremely annoying is besides the crowd (totally crowdy but I went on Sunday ) is that some people were shouting and none of the security didn't tell them not to speak SO LOUD, neither there were sights . A kind recommendation for the museum to have some kind of warning for those who lack in respect and behaviour in these places.
We loved it. Really cool to see a history of Picasso‘s life through his work. Was not necessarily a fan of his before, but the museum definitely convinced me. Was very impressed, definitely worth the time to visit.
Good value exhibitions and displays of Picasso's work. Well laid out in intelligent groupings. The audio tour is included in the price. It's very informative but a bit over the top with far too much theoretical exposition. You'd be there all day if you listened to all of it!
A fantastic museum - it has representative paintings from all of Picasso’s periods. Just the right size - not too overwhelming and tiring. I really enjoyed it. This museum is better than the one in Barcelona.
Great experience. Great Great feeling. A MUST PLACE
Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the many facets of Picasso. Buy advanced ticket online to avoid waiting. Spent about 1.5 hrs in the museum.
Beautiful! The queue outside of the museum was a bit confusing as we already had pre booked tickets, but ended up queuing with the rest. Other than that, great spacious museum!
? Revise aqui.
Well maintained museum with a staggering amount of Picasso's originals. Virtually no copies are on display, so you won't see Guernica, for example. There is a permanent exposition of Picasso's paintings (they call it "Picasso Collection") and a temporary exposition (Picasso in photographs when I visited). Gift shop sells both neat trinkets (shirts, puzzles, mugs) and books or painting prints. There is a room with papers and markers where you can draw your own stuff and either take it with you for free or leave it there for others to see. Gets really crowded right after the opening hour, although the staff only lets people in in waves. I went in at 13:45 and while there was a sizable amount of people, it wasn't exactly "packed". Might be a good idea to buy a ticket online, which you can do, although the site is in Spanish only - then they'll let you in through a much shorter queue, often right away.
This museum introduces you to Picasso. There are not too many exhibits to absorb. Just right. There's a potted history of his artistic phases. Well worth the visit and queuing for. Loved it. There is a painting here which he completed aged 91! It opens at 11 am. Better to be here in the off season. Even then there can be a long que. Get there about 20 mins before it opens - ie 10.40 am.
Malaga is the birthplace of Picasso, and this museum is dedicated to him. So if you’re a fan, you must come here. The guide guide explains his life and work in great details.
A well-curated selection of works housed in a beautiful building. Pieces on display includes oils, sketches, sculptures and ceramics. Tickets can be purchased online for €9. Audio guides are available, as well as an accompanying app. Be prepared to spend about an hour here.
In order for you understand Picasso’s art you need to trace his art all over the world, but a visit to his hometown museum is a must. After I visited the Museum Reina Sofia and Museo Del Prado, I knew I had to stop by Málaga. It was a great visit. Picasso was an iconoclast, a trend creator, a revolutionary artist, and most importantly, he was able to portray human nature at its most animalistic nature. Miquel Barceló’s exhibit is also available this time at the museum. It is worth exploring as well (please check out pictures). The museum also offers complementary Wifi (it was so helpful because I didn’t have date the entire trip due to an issue with my phone provider).
Visited here in a very first day after arrived Malaga. I study arts but didn’t know Picasso was born here. Such an honor for me to come visit this museum. This museum is such a unique and mysterious. You can enjoy audio mobile provided by staff. Wonderful museum dedicated to Pablo Picasso.
