Can Framis Museum

I thought it was an extraordinary museum of contemporary art. I really enjoyed the works on display. It is located in a very special building and environment. Incomprehensibly little known.

For those who like to visit painting museums. This has a special charm in addition to the extensive collection of Contemporary Catalan Painting. The distribution is perfect and comfortable to visit. The coexistence of styles and the space as shared rooms invites you to stare and contrast. The information is correct. The attention, very friendly. It is located in modern Barcelona 22@ In what was an old wool factory and belongs to the Vila Casas Foundation.

If you are interested in modern art, this museum is a MUST GO!

Museum of Catalan contemporary painting. It also exhibits sculpture and photographs, from the 60s to the present day. The visit is highly recommended. And by the way, walk around the Poblenou neighborhood...

Museum that combines collections of religious art with other very curious and varied ones, from toys to photography machines from the early days of photography, and, in between, a lot of surprising collector's items. Very educational and entertaining museum.

Can Framís is, unfortunately, the most forgotten of Barcelona's museums. Both the building, the outdoor garden and the pieces on display deserve to be visited, even more so considering the size of the installation, the price of the entrance and the peace you have to walk around it. I'm not a big lover of contemporary painting, but the works are so many and so varied that I'm sure everyone will find a handful of inspiring paintings. What's more, when I visited, the price also included two temporary exhibitions with new artists complementing those already enshrined in the permanent exhibition. highly recommended

Museum located in an old contemporary Catalan painting factory. Very well arranged, a welcoming temple of art

Too short, I have to go back to it several times to cover all the content. Characters like Vila Casas are what the Culture of this country needs.

Very integrated space between the garden and the remains of the old factory that are preserved in the patio part, and are added to the new part of the Museum. They have a magnificent collection that is renewed periodically and also a temporary exhibition space.

A fantastic collection of contemporary Catalan art exhibited at the highest level of quality thanks to the private patronage of Mr. Vila Casas. Its foundation has other spaces in Barcelona and Catalonia that I also recommend visiting

A lot of interesting works, really various in style and media. Really liked the building and garden surrounding it visible from every point inside. Great composition of the permanent exebition.

Stunning architecture and courtyard make it already worth the visit. The art work is nice also, but the building steals the show.

Great modern art museum with an extensive permanent collection over 3 floors. Artists are featured in nicely curated separate spaces. „Impression overdose“ in a very positive way - one can easily spend an entire morning or afternoon here!

Uma galeria que exibe vários tipos de obras de arte. É muito maior do que eu pensei que seria. Realmente gostei do 1º andar. Um imperdível.

Mente, onda de belo edifício dá lugar a um multiverso de arte espetacular em dois edifícios adjacentes. Vale a pena conferir o espaço, independentemente do que os programas estão e as áreas são frias, cheias de cafés e outros espaços de arte agradáveis. Enquanto você estiver na área, não deixe de conferir a LA Platformina Gallery também!

Fremis é um belo museu de tamanho médio que se concentra na arte catalã. Eu caí nele por engano simplesmente porque meu hotel estava ao virar da esquina. Estou feliz por ter feito. O exterior do edifício é cercado por um parque feito para parecer uma pequena floresta urbana. A arquitetura moderna do edifício integra elementos do passado de Poblenou, principalmente uma chaminé de tijolo industrial. A iluminação natural dentro do edifício é realizada com bastante sucesso, aumentando a iluminação usada para a arte, mas nunca a sobrecarregando. Não posso sair sem parabenizar os curadores, não apenas pela variedade de estilos disponíveis em exibição, mas também pela maneira como a obra é exibida.

Taxa de entrada € 5. Bela arquitetura. Bom passeio por um museu bastante desconhecido.

Museum space for painting and some sculpture by national and international artists. Paintings of all styles. Recommendable. Entry at 5 euros and 2 euros if discount is applied.

I didn't know about this museum, and discovering it was just great. The architecture, the lights, the green around. And very cool exhibitions.

Really beautiful museum with great exhibition

Beautiful museum with a wonderful selection of contemporary paintings as well as a temporary photograph exhibit. I came at 1 pm on a Tuesday and had the place completely to myself. A treasure.

Great architecture and collection

Excellent modern art collection! Catalan and Spanish painting from 20th and 21st century, a private collection and a skillful selection of the exposed works. Very different styles are presented, collection is not imposing or favoring certain approach discriminating others, but one can fully enjoy pluralism and diversity of contemporary art. Endless freedom of creation and interpretation of the art based on personal sensibility are the greatest values of contemporary art, which separate it from the previous centuries, which were based more on restrictions and rules. Organization and design of the exposition and relationship between artworks is equally good. Personally, I enjoy this collection, much more then official modern art museum in Barcelona. Architecturally it´s a contextual re-conversion of the old textile factory and valuable public space designed by BAAS. Fundaciò Vila Casas has two more museums in Costa Brava (sculpture and photography) equally valuable and all three are wonderful gift wealthy family with artistic sensibility could give to the people.

A parte mais impressionante deste museu foi a arquitetura real do edifício. Estava quieto para uma tarde de domingo, mas enquanto passeava pelos corredores de cimento e vidro com minha namorada ao meu lado, descobri algumas jóias entre as centenas de obras. Definitivamente, há um senso de orgulho cataloniano. Todos os artistas são locais e pintando/esculpindo para um público espanhol. Os banheiros são neutros em gênero e você pode obter um café expresso decente de uma máquina de venda automática operada por moedas no terceiro andar. Vale os 7 euros (2 euros, se você puder provar que é professor ou está no Dole).

My favourite museum in Barcelona! I go there regularly with my husband and we both always enjoy what they are exhibiting. The building is fantastic. Not to be missed if visiting Poblenou, one of the best areas in Barcelona!
