🗣️ Inhotim Museum: Opiniões
Beautiful gardens, very interesting exhibits. Need more than one day to see or experience them all, in my personal opinion.
Beautiful park / open air gallery. Full day recommended at a leisurely pace. Sufficient toilet and water fountain facilities. Restaurants and cafes on site, prices as to be expected.
This is probably the best single attraction I have ever visited. I went three and a half years ago, and I still think about it regularly. Enter with open eyes and comfy shoes. If you move quickly you can get it done in a day trip from BH, but two days might be better to really let your mind grasp the sheer awesomeness of what you are seeing.
For me, it is the nicest botanical garden in Brazil. You need minimum 4 hours to visit it. But 2 days visit is better.
Been here several times and it's always amazing. Great landscape and interesting art. If in BH, it's a must
Great place, spent a whole day! Highly recommended.
This should be world renowned, it is comparable to European standards but totally unique. The grounds are exquisite and well maintained, the galleries are fantastic. It's an art museum where the different exhibitions have been broken up and scattered in nature. I highly recommend paying for the shuttle service especially if you are only there for one day. One of the top attractions in Brazil!
Very nice park and art. Too big for one day though.
Pegamos um ônibus da rodoviária central (Rodoviaria) para Inotim. Recebemos nossos passagens de ônibus e ingressos de admissão antes da mão. Experiência maravilhosa. Altamente recomendo pagar pelo trânsito interno também.
Wonderfull experience, a beautifull park full of botanical wonders. And then youre able to see such beautifull art as well in all the galleries. The food and drinks are on the pricy side and if You decide to buy a ticket without the driving option, expect to walk a lot. If youre into that its totally worth it. If youre not a hiker, id recommend spending more for the comfort of getting into the taxi from one gallery to the next. Its also more easy to see the whole park this way, on foot this isnt possible in one Day. Overall very good experience, a magical place.
Spent a day walking in this beautiful place with a lot of nature and many galleries after every few minutes. The restaurants were excellent too!!
Very impressive in many ways. From the Flora to the art. Perfect. Bring enough time. A day is probably not enough.
There are two different reasons to visit it: as a botanical garden and for the art galleries. The botanical garden should enchant anyone. The art pieces, are more of a personal taste. I loved a few, but felt that others are more about the technique, without a deeper meaning. (But I might have missed the point). If you are interested in the garden, one day should be ok. If you want to explore the galleries and don't rush, I advise a 3 day trip.
Lovely experience though challenging to get to the museum itself due to poor roads. Most people recommend 2 full days which (in my opinion) is excessive. Make a reservation for the buffet restaurant well in advance.... delicious
Amazing place. Must visit at least once in life.
Imperdível. Espetacular! Must go place! To visit the pavilions in totality the Eletric cars service available is required. The museum is too big in all senses.
A large tropical park with art works scattered throughout. It easy delightful ! Requires 1.5 days to see it properly and take in the relaxing atmosphere. Note : information on their map is inadequate - research the site before visiting. And, the transportation pass is needed due the +200m vertical climbs on the purple and on the orange routes - one buggy goes point A-B then back to A while another circles B-C, etc. I suggest immediately taking all to the top and walking downhill. Leave the lower exhibits near the reception and lakes for day 2 without the transportation pass.
Fantastic place. Lots of green, great exhibits, nice staff and infrastructure. There are places that are really far off, if you plan to get the most out of the visit, I couldn't recommend more grabbing the internal transportation pass.
Definitely worth your time and money when visiting Minas Gerais. The Museum contains a vast collection of large scale artwork. The galleries themselves are huge architectural feats and the designs are astonishing. Located inside of what was previously was a farm, Inhotim offers its visitors the contrast with the industrial developments of the cities that surround it. If you are not on the trekking shape, it is good advice to go on weekdays and to purchase the internal shuttle service. There are several galleries and artworks that are quite far apart and uphill. It is doable to see the whole museum in a day using the carts and arriving early. Eve during the pandemic, Inhotim was quite busy and required tickets far in advance. You will need a car to get there and go early because the road is not the best.
Great place to visit, will definitely take at least two days to see everything. On our first day we made it through about 1.5 of there 3 paths without hurrying.
Great place to go, but do not go in a hurry! I just had a day and was able to make the most of it by buying the golf cart pass at the entrance - worth every penny! Also, do not miss the amazing pão de queijo at the Cafe.
Beautiful place, I wanna go back soon...
Is a terrific place to visit, and well worth to it even if it's a little bit out of the way. The art is interesting, but I thought that the gardens were much more beautiful than some of the contemporary pieces. There is free entry on Wednesdays, but often attracts bit of a crowd so get here early. Also, if you're on a budget make sure that you bring food with you. The food here is ridiculously expensive, even the "cheap" options.
#wallpaperwednesday with my mom in the most gorgeous and expansive outdoor museum @inhotim who i know around the world and the most beautiful place with a huge botanical garden and a lot of art galleries around. Great artworks with amazing scenery. Must see...
Absolutely gorgeous museum located 2 hours out of Belo Horizonte. Prices are reasonable but be prepared to walk a lot! If you are going there you may find yourselves well to start with the pink and yellow trails in the area. Minor gripe is that there are no directional signs within the park so you’d have to rely on your own navigational skills.
Amazing place! Completely different experience to visit a place to see art in a outdoor space. Inhotim is a unique place, that is definitely a worth visiting. Awesome gardens, breathtaking art galleries, and an amazing story of how all this was created, by a man, Bernardo, that started its own collection and ended donating it all so that more people could see what he created. Don’t wait, come and visit, I am sure you will agree with me!!
I felt two days was enough at a very leisurely pace without using golf carts. This is spoken as a botannical and art enthusiast, with time to sit through video pieces. There is affordable food onsite (R$20-35). The food options in Brumadinho leave much to be desired. I recommend staying in Belo Horizonte and catching the 3783, 3784, 3788, or 3789 busses from 471 Avenida Amazonas to get to the museum. The cost is only R$10 each way. If you are visiting on the weekend Inhotim actually runs a shuttle service as well, you can find the necessary information through their website. I stayed in Brumadinho and sincerely regretted it because of the limited tourism infrastructure and lack of options of activities outside of the museum hours. Great place to visit!
Amazing place!
The best museum/botanical garden I've ever been to. My favorite thing about Belo Horizonte is the amazingly hot and cool ladies everywhere. My second favorite thing in Belo is Inhotim. I've been 6 times and counting. Sure the prices at the restaurants are expensive, but pack a lunch and make a bad ass picnic if you don't want to pay! The mix of garden and art is absolutely ridiculously amazing. And this is coming from a guy that thought Picassos museum in Barcelona was just okay! Anyone that goes to Belo and doesn't stop here is an idiot. Anyone who gives this place less than 4 stars is a glass half empty kind of shmuck! GO TO INHOTIM!!!! ITS INCREDIBLE!!!!
Inhotim is a museum of museums and gardens. It's a truly unique experience. It's incredibly focused on tiny details. Every building is a work of art of its own. The place is huge. They offer the alternative of visiting without buying the electric cart ticket. Buy it! You won't have time to see a lot if you don't. I also strongly recommend staying next to the museum so that you van visit at least two days in a row. I wish I could have stayed more than two days.
Beautiful, pleasant place! 14 acres of diverse interesting things to enjoy! Impossible to visit all in one day!!! Breathe nature and relax...
Almost 800 hectars of art and gardens. Impeccable maintenance - I've been in Brazil for a few years already and never seen such well-groomed gardens. The art exhibitions are fairly average - go straight to the one by Claudia. The place needs some 2-3 hours of your time.
Incredible, a mixture of museum and botanical garden. Well worth visiting Brazil just to spend a couple of days exploring Inhotim. The family and I loved every second of our day at this wonderful open air art gallery. Totally different from any other place in Brazil or the world. Here visitors are free to walk, or ride on carts, to explore this "new wonder of the world". There are tour guides to assist or you can create your own itinerary. Along the way there are top quality restaurants and snack bars to satisfy even the most demanding costumers. I found it very clean and well maintained. Which is quit unusual for Brazil. With the aid of a tour map anyone can have a day of adventure exploring the details that make Inhotim one of the best museums of its class.
Very cool place to visit in Minas Gerais. Loved it!
Really a nice place to visit for a full day. Between a botanical garden and an art museum, with different galeries to visit for pictures, paintings, sculptures, music, video or surrealism experiences. A wide area to explore that seems to large for just one day. Good for people that like to take long walks, but if you are not there are electrical carts that you could take to jump from one place to the other.
This place was more than as I expected. It has multiple galleries/artwork points inside in which will take your breath away with the sight of nature. I recommend to give the whole day to walk around. However, carts are also available to roam around. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. Don't forget to bring your ID and vaccine card if any, which will be needed before entering the premise.
Would really recommend Inhotim for a day trip. It was a beautiful place to explore and see all the different types of art they have to offer.
Art and Nature combine in a perfect place. It is a must if you are around Belo Horizonte. Ideal for visiting alone, with family, kids in a couple ...Try to reserve a day to visit it.!
Great place to complentate art in different forms. Whole place really talk to me.
Vast art installation with immaculately maintained gardens. Contemporary and modern art, impressive architecture in the middle of rural Minas Gerais. Large parking area, but rough roads getting there. Some parts are wheelchair accessible, but mostly not. Prepare for walking fairly long distances in the sun, uphill and downhill. There is a reasonable entry fee with an electric cart tour option for extra. There are two self-serve buffets and some gift shops inside.
