Free and very nice!
One of the national museums of La Coruña. Museum of Science and Technology. Impress your plane cabin at the entrance. The building is a glass cube, quite striking. In its rooms you can discover small and big technological secrets... It is a privilege to be able to have a national museum, and I hope that the example will spread with other state contributions. La Coruña stands out for its many offers in museums and culture. In addition to the 3 scientific museums in A Coruña, we can find the archeology, art museum houses.. etc, etc.
I have loved the focus it makes on the Spanish contributions to the progress of recent centuries. Good estructured. My only complaint is that some explanations can only be understood by those of us who speak Galician, Spanish and English, since they are not translations but complementary.
Worth a visit!
Very good it has the first mac valued at 100,000 euros it also has a plane cabin with double request and cinema called iberia lo pe de vega friendly staff
Impressive and a must if you go to Coruña, whether with children or not. We were lucky that when we arrived a kind of treasure hunt to do as a family began and in which you move around the museum looking for the questions that they ask you through a mobile application, we had a great time as well as learning a lot since to be able to get it right you must read and receive a lot of information and then we visit the museum calmly, which is amazing, among other things you can see what a plane is like inside, etc... And the best of all is which is free
I have had a great surprise because I go to Coruña a lot and I had never visited this museum. I like how it exposes the information, simple and very interesting for adults and children. Very friendly staff. It is incredible how it shows the great advance of science and the human being... with an amazing 20th century
Science, technology and with changing exhibition. What more can you ask for if it is also free admission? We love going with the little ones and not so little ones, especially the plane drives them crazy... Recommended if you are in Coruña, either visiting or as a resident!
Very interesting and surprising museum about history, science and technology and it is also free. The section of the Boeing is impressive. Recommended visit.
It has 9 floors... Admission is free, or at least the Saturday we went we didn't pay, they have free guided tours... It was the first time I went and I really liked it a lot... Too bad I went with the fair time, I will repeat but with a guided tour
Essential museum in a visit to Coruña, the permanent exhibition and the building are very interesting. An architecture with impressive and unique interior spaces.
A good place to spend a morning and see all the inventions on display. On weekends admission is free.
A space for disseminating scientific-technological knowledge, with a very entertaining and educational tour. It focuses on great inventions in branches such as physics, chemistry, aeronautics, the automotive industry, computers, medicine... Very well preserved and on display, an ideal place to spend the morning or afternoon. It is enjoyed a lot in company, ideal your visit for school excursions. Free admission every day of the year and for all ages.
Very cool, especially the cockpit of the plane.
For those of us who like science and technology, it is a must-see in A Coruña, and admission is free. It is in a great area of A Coruña.
Totally free and a great plan to go with children or as a couple. Inventions and gadgets that take you back in time. About two hours can take if you are curious and read everything. 9 floors where you can even enter the cabin of an authentic Boeing 747
A pleasant surprise in the heart of A Coruña, a wonderful city that offers a beautiful sea and beaches that allow enjoyment. With regard to this museum, I must admit that although it is not the first time I have visited A Coruña, it is the first time we have visited the museum. And with total honesty I tell you that it is worth visiting, it is so well presented, in a building that has large areas of natural light that allows the show off of rooms and spaces, perfectly delimited and marked. We thought we would be there for a little while and he spent his time enjoying the entire exhibition. To highlight: the first room and the one dedicated to the periodic table of the elements, with interactive games that are stimulating for children to start paying attention to chemistry. Element of the collection to highlight: the astrolabes. A place to go alone or with family, without a doubt.
Magnificent museum, very educational Ideal to take children and become aware of the evolution of the technique and the time it has taken to reach the levels of development of the instruments that they use today with ease.
Highly recommended. The visit is pleasant and entertaining. What I liked the most (without detracting from the collection) was the building, which has impressive architecture and is very well organized.
I liked it a lot and what can I say about its value for money since it is FREE and with a lot of interesting information.
Highly recommended! We did the guided tour for families, a success! They gave the little ones a science workshop and took us through the most interesting points of the museum! 100% recommended
Ideal for Coruña on a cloudy day. Two hours of walking through rooms with lots of interesting data. Recommended.
A very cool and interesting site, with a lot of content. Admission is free The staff was very friendly and attentive. The fun gymkhana for families.
very good. Feel the beauty of technology. Especially the aircraft display on the third floor. not bad! Especially important is that it is free!
An interesting site. You go back to your childhood and beyond. They have objects from their first creation. Information panels. Two and a half hours where our daughter was impressed and did nothing more than say, because school did not bring us here.
Interesting museum of science and technology. Interesting information panels and technical devices.
I loved it. It's great that it's free for everyone to see.
An amazing learning place! It seems incredible everything that humanity has advanced in each era...
We visited today and we loved it. We spent 3 hours going through all the rooms and everything you see is very interesting. It was worth the visit. Recommended
The architecture of the building is very modern and striking. It has a huge exhibition space, no more and no less than 9 floors. The collection is very varied and the cartouches are interesting. However, it lacks a certain expository cohesion. It would also be interesting to add means for the visitor to be part of the visit, such as small experiments with light or some kind of chemical mixture. It already has an interactive zone at the end of the visit, but it could be incorporated into more modules, in my opinion. It suffers from something that many other museums of its style suffer from, which is falling short, in my opinion. Why do science and scientific advances always stop in the 90s? It is time to introduce the great milestones of the 2000s era into the scientific and technological narrative. Otherwise, the museum is great. The lights, the billboards, everything. It is a wonderful place to spend the morning.
Marvelous. It is a place where you can learn a lot, it is surprising and it is very pleasant. There are the most curious objects and inventions and it has a great informative work. It is ideal to go with children because it is not excessively wide although if you want, you can spend many hours reading a multitude of information. Admission is free (15-04-22)
A spectacular museum with free admission. The boy at the reception very friendly and willing to explain all the details of the museum in addition to informing about the new exhibitions, which shows professionalism and pleasure in his work, nothing to do with the unfortunate service of the rest of the administration officials . A different visit to learn in a fun way for all audiences. 100% recommendable.
I have been there twice during my staying in Coruña and I liked it a lot. There's a lot to see and discover. The most unbelievable part is that the visit costs 0€
Very interesting museum in a spacious and specially designed building. It's a pity that not everything is also translated into English everywhere, but it doesn't detract from the experience. The entrance was free when we were there.
Spectacular technological museum that brings together a good piece of the past. It has several rooms in which you can see from small to large treasures of all kinds, so whatever interests you around technology you will surely like something. And it is that each article in the exhibition is more interesting and spectacular than the previous one, counting from the Ford that is first seen in the exhibition to the cabin of the Boeing 747, or one of its turbines. Your visit is fully recommended!
Free museum that is well worth visiting. It is very well organized. It is not for very young children but they have a plane that they like. There were some areas under restoration. Difficult to park. We will be back
I love this museum, it has interesting things for all ages, from the Band-Aid to the Lantern of the Tower of Hercules. With the free tickets, the people are very nice and it is always clean. As against, I suppose that as a result of the covid there are things that are not available, or withdrawn. A shame
Absolutely worth it!
A museum for lovers of Science and technology you can see the passage of time of instruments, tools, devices, appliances, etc ... there are objects from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries ... FREE entry. The jewel in the Crown is the Boeing 747 LOPE DE VEGA where you can look at the Front Axle, Cargo Cabin, Passengers, Pilot Cabin and Engine! An excellent museum to visit in La Coruña.
it is a fantastic museum. Everything is explained in detail in 3 languages (Galician, Spanish and English) and the route to follow is signposted, so you don't get lost. Totally recommended for all ages as it is all very visual and easy to understand. Admission is free and now in times of covid it is one of the few open museums for which you do not need a reservation.
Museu fantástico, oferece uma perspectiva de como a tecnologia evoluiu.
Excellent. Something to enjoy for all ages.
Very interesting if you are in Coruña is perfect to see and enjoy
Nice attraction
Lots of science related bits and bobs!
Obrigado equipe.
Very well layed exhibits. Wonderful building.
An amazing museum, especially for kids. A must in your A Coruña visit.
