🗣️ Albacete Museum: Opiniões
Albacete Archaeological Museum. The history of the territory of the province, the human settlements and their cultures
The Albacete Museum is located in Abelardo Sanchez Park. An oasis of beautiful nature in which the building that houses the museum was screened in 1968. Its style is known as organic, functional and practical architecture, allowing visitors free personal itineraries. Everyone will have the possibility to admire and reconstruct the story from their exclusive and particular point of view, without rigid guidelines set beforehand.
A great museum with pieces that are worth knowing. lovely people. A must visit to discover the heritage of Albacete.
Very large museum, spacious and friendly staff, you can see interesting pieces and coins.
The great unknown of the capital of La Mancha. One of the best collections of Iberian art in Spain and the Roman material on display is very interesting, especially the collection of articulated Roman dolls. And the dificio that contains them, exceptional.
I liked the guided exhibition of the Iberians a lot, it was very interesting and they explained it very well. I plan to return to see the preferential room, which is one of the most important areas of the museum, where some of the oldest and most original pieces from various civilizations are exhibited.
Very interesting, both for the exhibits, which cover all periods, and for the architecture of the building and how it integrates into the environment. The funerary dishes have caught my attention, which I had not seen before in any other museum. The old vintage dolls were also to be interesting but couldn't be seen as they are under restoration. Very friendly staff, they welcome you with a smile.
I loved it! Admission is free and with a good collection of history. A guide or audio guide is missing, so why better explain everything there is
A great collection of historical remains and art in a beautiful and free museum, highly recommended.
A great archaeological museum. Its collection of Iberian sculpture is spectacular. The warrior on horseback found in the necropolis of Los Villares is impressive. It is from the 5th century BC. and it is the main piece of the museum together with the collection of Roman dolls and the ritual perfume burner of the servant of Astarte. But you will also see Roman mosaics, a curious Neolithic pottery with solar symbols, the metal wheels of a Roman chariot, etc. Enjoy a lot. An essential visit for history lovers.
Eu realmente gostei deste pequeno museu. Uma ótima maneira de passar algumas horas, explorando a história de Albacete e descobrindo alguns dos artefatos legais que eles têm desde os tempos antigos.
Excellent, I recommend going to see
We recommend the permanent exhibition of paintings by Benjamín Palencia. Besides, the important archaeological collection.
Interesting works by the different artists of the place throughout history
Museum with very interesting archaeological artifacts from the Iberians! Free entrance. It is divided into two zones, archaeological and painting.
The clarinet concert that we heard there this morning is beautiful.
Friendly and attentive staff, wide, varied exhibition and with very detailed and didactic explanatory panels, as if that were not enough, free.
A unique museum within a beautiful park. It is very beautiful, the exhibition of Juan Berenguel that I was lucky enough to see at the opening
An exhibition of the Iberians, to remember history... Very good guide. A pleasure to have such documented and enjoyable explanations.
It is a good museum I recommend your visit
A beautiful museum. The building integrated into the environment. The permanent collections are worth visiting.
Highly recommended museum. Perhaps, if it has a flaw, it is that it is not given the relevance it deserves. Albacete does not shine for its tourism, but if places like this, worth visiting, are not advertised, little more can be asked for. Another pity is the lack of original pieces that are in the MAN and that could well be in this museum.
A great museum with part of the history of the province. We usually go on Sundays as a family with the children and they have a great time learning about history, seeing the coins and mosaics. The paintings by local painters and the exhibitions they hold are also very interesting.
Wonderful, everyone should know it and in a fabulous location well managed and with very interesting conferences
Taking advantage of the last days of the temporary exhibition of Los Íberos, apart from the very complete exhibition with pieces from different museums, the museum has several exhibition halls with unique pieces, since the Albacete area is very rich in settlements since prehistoric times.
A beautiful and spacious design, with samples of archaeological remains from the Paleolithic period. Your visit is essential
The pity is that it does not open on Sundays, but it is a must. There is material on display that makes a skilled eye doubt ... looking for and distinguishing them is part of the charm of this museum. The Director of the National Archaeological in Madrid has already said: Haberlas HAY
A careful and important collection of art and archeology carefully displayed. A modern didactics and above all an interaction with living society and active. The friendliness of the staff completes the excellence of the museum.
An unknown jewel in Albacete. It is worth spending an hour and a half to discover its small but formidable collection
Beautiful museum. It has a very spacious layout, well lit and the works on display are wonderful. Perfect to spend the morning or afternoon
Archaeological Museum of Albacete. The building itself is amazing and then it has quite a few interesting things inside...a nice and educational visit.
the archaeological part is wonderful, I recommend as a real treasure the dolls of Ontur and the Roman mosaics an exemplary architecture to integrate a modern building in the nature of the park respecting the trees
The Museum is archaeological and very interesting, it covers the history of the Iberians, Romans, Muslims ... Admission is free. Totally recommendable.
An exceptional museum to learn about Iberian art. It would be great if they could notify in the What's New part of Google Maps which pieces of the collection are being restored or on loan, at least the most important ones. I really wanted to see Ontur's dolls, and it couldn't be.
Magnificent and very unknown museum. Nestled in a park is a modern center, with perfect museum facilities. You can take a tour of the history and art of the area from prehistory to the twentieth century. Magnify the collection of works by Benjamin Palencia. One of the best provincial museums in Spain.
It is an excellent place to culture yourself, meet and learn. Excellent attention, impeccable facilities, well detailed and explanatory. Wide variety of archaeological works to discover. Free entrance. You enter and the city disappears.
The building is one of the architectural jewels of the city. The collection is interesting, for me to highlight the paintings of Benjamín Palencia and the sculpture o (a pity that important pieces are in Madrid). Recommended visit if you come to Albacete.
Spectacular museum, with different areas, an archeology and another of the 40th anniversary, and another referring to paintings and sculptures, it costs €3 but it is worth visiting
Although it lacks a bit of an expository discourse that links the content of the different rooms, the museography is quite careful, the rooms are spacious and the pieces are spectacular, especially those in the Iberian culture room. A more than remarkable provincial museum where you can enjoy the history and archeology of the region. What's more
A small and cozy museum, but with important archaeological pieces. My visit was during the week and I was alone except for the beginning of the visit that there was a school. What I have missed is an ethnological part with some local clothing, for example.
Great Museum where to find pieces of archeology, fine arts, numismatics, ethnography and documentaries, of the history of Albacete
Small but with a good collection of pieces throughout history, well organized. Paintings by Benjamin Palencia.
Very interesting museum the day we went there was a presentation of a historical piece presented by an archeology professor who was in the same excavation we loved it
!! A place of culture of all ages, times and even prehistory. Art, painting, sculpture, ... . On Tuesdays there are conference talks at 8:00 p.m. with an expert on the subject matter, it is a unique and special moment of the week for me. I like it enormously. There are also trips with this group from the Museum of Albacete, other events, jazz, more culture of open doors for the family during the week, weekends with tour guides, ... . This Museum of Albacete is one of the things that I am most proud of being!
Vale a pena dar uma olhada
An architecturally beautiful museum. Full of natural light. It does not have a large number of pieces, but the ones it does have are very well preserved and exposed. Touring the interior is a delight. The entrance is very cheap.
The Provincial Museum of Albacete is housed in a building projected ad hoc by the architect Antonio Escario in the seventies of the last century, in which large, open spaces and warm materials dominate. In the Museum the archaeological collection stands out especially; The areas dedicated to the Iberian culture (votive offerings, funeral figures ...) and Roman (mosaics, ceramics, the Ontur dolls ...) are of importance, without detracting from other sections that cover the entire temporal space through the sites. provincial. In the Fine Arts section, the Benjamin Palencia collection stands out. Admission is inexpensive, but even on Sunday mornings it is completely free from 10:00 to 2:00.
Very interesting museum for both the exhibits and the architecture of the building. A review of history very well structured. It has surprised me for good, I recommend it. If I had to put some "but" it would be just the lack of interactive elements. I really enjoyed it.
It has a fantastic archeology collection. To highlight the rooms in which Iberian pieces found in different parts of the province are exhibited. There are some reproductions, but also really interesting originals. We entered on a Saturday afternoon, and in the 2 hours we used to tour its rooms, we only met two people, so we could enjoy the museum as if it were a private visit.
