🗣️ Chillida-Leku: Opiniões
An interesting museum that combines Chillida’s work with nature, trees, traditional Basque architecture. Highly recommended if you like art. Tàpies' work can also be seen right now.
In a vast and magnificent park, all the richness and power of Chillida's work is on display for your admiration. A place not to be missed. The welcome is also warm
One of the museums that I have enjoyed the most in my life. The interconnection of art and nature is intense and harmonious. We were lucky to get there early and there was hardly anyone. It was like have private visit. I dream of the day that all vehicles are electric and the background noise disappears
A beautiful place to walk and learn more about Chillida's work. Perhaps the price is a bit high and without discount options.
Bonito
What a pleasure to return so many years later and see that you are still in love with the place. It is a special space that combines exhibition in open-air fields with work in a closed space. More recently it includes work by other authors. A unique, a luxury of space that should not be missed, because we do not know how long such luck can last. Suitable for children, couples, friends and people with disabilities. A breath of fresh air for lungs and mind.
A spectacular and surprising museum. The immensity of the land so perfectly cared for, the works delicately located with beautiful trees. Some fields of an intense green. A wonderful site. We were lucky enough to enjoy a string concert inside his farmhouse yesterday, just as it was the 20th anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely return because it transmits a lot of peace and serenity.
Um lugar tão inspirador em um parque com um grande número de esculturas de Chillida. Também para visitar o restaurante Museum para sua comida criativa. Definitivamente vale a pena uma visita!
Great exhibition embedded in great landscape.
Pleasant and spectacular outdoor space to enjoy the work of Eduardo Chillida, and observe and feel its magnitude. Ideal plan to spend a morning, and even eat enjoying the wonderful place. To repeat!!!
If you like sculpture you have to visit it. Currently there are also some very well-chosen pieces by Miró. Located in a beautiful and well-kept area
The Chillida museum is a very pleasant experience within an environment full of nature and tranquility. Touring this open-air museum, even with children, brings them closer to the sensitivity of their works, conscientiously distributed among themselves to be fully integrated within this natural environment. It is interesting to know the exports in advance, and to be able to delve into the work of other artists. In my case I rediscovered the work of another genius, Joan Miró
The most beautiful open-air museum in Spain. In a 16th century farmhouse restored by Eduardo Chillida, his most fragile sculptures, in the gardens, the most resilient. Every detail is exquisite. a joy
A pleasant walk through the garden and interior of the baserri while you enjoy the works of this great artist. The works can always be played with respect and without climbing on top or sitting down. General admission costs €12, you can stay as long as you want.
Fantastic sculptor, well informed, English speaking personal.
Before the pandemic we went to a yoga class inside the museum itself. It was a wonderful experience, since apart from the class we were able to enjoy the museum. We bought the tickets online, which included entrance to the museum, the yoga class and a full breakfast. I hope that in the summer of this year you can organize something similar because we left delighted and wanting to repeat!
What Vetter Place to See Chilida’s work. The Park is amazing.
Chillida Leku is a unique museum, considering it all a great work of art. The garden of the Chillida Leku, with a large expanse of land, houses more than forty sculptures of monumental size. Placed in a thoughtful way. These exhibited sculptures are integrated into the landscape as if they were part of it. The sculptures can be touched to feel the different textures, and some even have spaces inside that can be traversed by visitors. The works can also be surrounded and viewed from various points of view.
Beautiful garden and museum, well worth a visit. The restaurant and shop are nice!
The Chillida-Leku Museum is a large space of gardens and forests and a remodeled farmhouse ( Zabalaga ), where the sculptor Eduardo Chillida Juantegui distributed a large sample of his work. i would love to write a review here but i can’t find any worthy words. let’s just say, 10 stars out of 5. oh mon dieu.
One of the great museums on earth ...
Amazing, there is a Cafe, bathroom and a huge field to walk and enjoy Chillida's sculptures.
Is a very nice museum
Great place to enjoy Chillida artwork . Make sure you get a guided tour to get a better understanding, and take your time to explore the sculptures and the exhibitions
Very pretty and interesting place, but smaller than I expected. You really only need an hour or two here. Definitely worth a visit!
Surprising
An experiential museum, one of my favorite museums on this planet.
A living museum I could spend the whole day in. Staff very welcoming and a great outdoor visit in Covid times.
An afternoon well spend! One of the highlight for San Sebastián
Do not miss the beautiful grounds and sculpture.
It just takes your breath away.
This is a very impressive and singular "museum". It's a park filled with Chillida's works... The art is arranged in avery pleasant way, allowing you to enjoy a walk, while pondering on the implications of the works. A short distance from Donostia, it is a place to visit and enjoy of this creator. The guided tours are worth the time.
A worthwhile visit to see his monumental sculptures in a beautifully landscaped environment.
Excellent museum space for a renowned artist. The beauty of the sculptures within nature cannot be understated. The house where some of Chillida's drawings and smaller sculptures are located is simply superb. It's architecture is an artwork in itself. A great part about this work is it transcends any language barriers so everyone can enjoy it equally.
A must-see if you want to know more about Chillida. You will see the place where he lived, you will discover his sculptures, a hint of what was his inner self. If you don't know his biography, get a guide. Then, have a drink in the coffee shop. The whole thing will not cost you more than 20 euros.
Simply WONDERFUL
Chillida-Leku Museum is an outdoors museum near San Sebastian. Chillida is one of the most important artists, not only in the basque country but across the world. You have to make a teservation if you want to visit the museum. You can do it through the website.
This is a very beautiful and unusual museum consisting of a very extensive garden and a XVI century farmhouse in the middle. The huge sculptures, some weighing more than 20 tons are placed on the grass and the more delicate and smaller pieces are inside the house. This farmhouse is a stunning piece of work in itself. You have to book an appointment for a visit. We went as a big group so we paid the 17€ entrance fee plus 150€ for a private museum guide. Worth every penny.
You need to ask for an appointment few days earlier. We got it without any problem. The place has a special calm ambient and they let you feel free and enjoy the nature and art in spontaneous way. The house is amazing as well.
Brilliant.
Amazing place with amazing sculptures of Eduardo Chillida
Expectacular
