🗣️ University of Arizona Museum of Art: Opiniões
Really nice artwork. Great facility.
Just beautiful!
I love this museum! Fantastic world class art right here in lil' old Tucson! Jaw dropping exhibits! Do go!
We stumbled into this after leaving the Center for Creative Photography heading to our car in the nearby parking lot. The free student admission appealed to us and we loved the Food exhibit. The "permanent" pieces were also significant. While we rushed through, we were able to "see everything" in about 30 minutes.
Lovely little museum with some crazy old pieces. Like 1400s. Free for students too!
This is a fantastic store for back issues and lots of great toys!
Really interesting exhibit. I really enjoyed the kress collection.
You can hear yourself think. It’s 2 floors and usually not very busy. It’s in between small and big, so a good space. Their collection is pretty decent, and the staff is nice and a bit younger than at the downtown art museum. Also if you’re a student it’s free whether Pima or the u of a.
Wonderful artwork and a very gracious and knowledgeable director.
I am moved by the student art exhibit. This is a wonderful place to get inspiration.
For university art gallery I was very impressed.
Cool place..thank you for recognizing Veterans. It sends a positive signal to the public. Museum had some very interesting displays. The photograph exhibit of Burhan Dogancay was spectacular. Umar Rashid's collection was amazing...
Many schools across the nation have worked museums. But this one sizable group it takes up 2 stories. Has a lot of great pieces.
Great hidden gem of a museum in Tucson. This is a University Museum so it has different types of exhibitions than traditional museums, including MFA shows and student guest curators, but that allows it to have many unique perspectives represented. The museum itself has an excellent collection for their size.
A nice repose to admire and reflect.
I enjoyed the eclectic nature of the collection. It's not a huge museum: but for the amount of square footage, you get to see quite an array of artists and styles. Exhibit themes were quite well thought out. Some medieval, some Renaissance, some modern. And quite a resource for students of art, with topics on restoration, technique, and art history.
Good show, very crowded
A gem tucked away in the University of Arizona's beautiful campus.
This is so FUN And gorgeous. Plenty to keep you busy but not so large you are overwhelmed. They have a Renoir, O'Keeffe, and a Pollock as part of the permanent collection and its just amazingly curated. only 8 dollars!!!!!
Very nice museum with different exhibits for everyone's taste. From modern art to Renaissance, it is a great place for any art lover. Students enter for free and tickets are of reasonable price. Great museum
Wonderful museum with a good balance of traditional, modern, contemporary and up and coming art. Fantastic community and educational programming as well. Check it out!
Gorgeous location. They have some really amazing art on display. It isn't a huge museum, but it does take a good hour or two at a slow pace. If you really want to sit and soak in some of the art, you can spend several hours, if not multiple visits. Ideal spot for students needing anything art related for class.
I was impressed. I can be quite annoyed at times, with a million questions. But a woman named Phoenix was so patient with my relentless inquiries on the subject matter and made my experience so much more enriched. She made me laugh, which can be a hard thing to do. Five stars for the event, five for her, and five for the organizers who know how to staff the best of the best
This Museum displays a broad variety of work from different historic periods, including contemporary. What is so special is by contrasting differing styles of work, they have created the perfect learning setting. A unique, temporary exhibit is photographs of stars whose time it took for the stars light to become visible is the age of the paired painting. Relationships and explanations are what this museum is about - perfect for learners of all ages, and small enough to inspire and not overwhelm.
Always a WOW just like the Arizona State Museum.
I visited recently with a friend, had no idea it existed. How did I miss it! Excellent, loved seeing great American artists and more!
This museum is full of excellent works of art.
A singular walk through history.
Wonderful art displayed in comfortable visitor friendly environment. The signs by the art are informative.
Every time I come here is a delicious experience. Thanks for the staff.
Excellent collection. An amazing asset for students of the university and for the public. Wide variety of styles and does well to incorporate grassroots arts projects and represent the growing art community of Tuscon.
This restaurant offers delightful, trendy, healrhful food options. The ambiance is aesthetically pleasing. The staff are consistently friendly.
Really, really nice (not too big) art gallery which covers a great deal of topics in each of its exhibition rooms. I really enjoyed it.
Such an amazing collection which is creatively displayed! Good energy and delightful encounter. Do not miss it!
Always a fun and interesting place to visit.
I went with my boyfriend on a weekend we had free. This was an amazing time and absolutely worth the admission price of 8 bucks. We spent two hours staring at everything. The Highschool art exhibit they had up, was pretty impressive. Those kids are so imaginitive!
Good place to take a smart woman for a free date. Lots of Indian art.
Amazing collection spanning medieval to modern. The staff are wonderful and knowledgeable. My favorite works are the Calders and Chagalls!
A truly inspiring and beautiful collection of works. The rotating exhibits keep me coming back regularly and I never get bored with the diversity and breadth of this gem in Tucson!
