Amazing museum to visit with children of all ages. From dinosaurs to natural selection and the development of the human senses. It was a really nice visit for us

The museum is very nice, for adults or children, it is very interactive and you learn many new things!

Great museum, really liked the 3 main expositions. Don't forget to double check the domes in some of the rooms: there are live animals inside!

very good museum very interesting to visit ... this museum tells a lot about animals and humans in ancient times..

One of our favorite expos with our small kids (4-3-1yo). We love it even more when the expos are adapted to the kids, the kids adored the Teddy and expo, and the expo about the Tirex now is totally worth a visite. In non cocid time we can go to the explorer part and play with sand. Normally there are also Wednesday afternoon activities, but you have to be on time for the subscription of your Lil ones. If you plan to go more than once in a month it is more intresting to buy a year card. You can also have a foodbfeak in the restaurant !

Super nice museum for family. The entrance fee is fair enough. It's bit confused with their instructions but generally speaking, this museum is worth to take your kids and family give a try.

Some many fascinating species to see, the humans need to evolve a little further into loving kindness though.

Amazing spot to visit for all ages. The human evolution section is very interactive and engaging for young and old. The dinosaurs are fascinating too.

Had such a great time here! It was so cheap for student entry (€5) and we spent ages in the museum - probably around 2 hours, and we even skipped a few bits and could’ve easily spent longer there. It was far bigger than we expected it to be, and there was loads of interactive stuff. There was a wide range of stuff to look at from the evolution of humans to taxidermy animals (creepy but cool). Would definitely recommend this to anyone of any age range!

We went to the museum without expectations and were amazed by the collection of dinosaur skeletons, the quality of the display and the information provided. The segment of living animals was very beautifully arranged and the history of natural science was very modern and interactive. Our 3-year old approved! The segment of human evolution was very up-to-date and educative. Even the quick lunches in the cafe were quite good. Overall an excellent experience.

It's actually 3 museums in 1 and you can choose which ones to visit depending on how much time you have available, it takes a while to go through everything though (up to 3 hours), so be prepared. Very interesting exhibits and nice gift shop. Great place for kids but definitely too big to do in just one visit with a small one. It gets crowded in the afternoon. Definitely a must visit while in Brussels.

Extraordinary museum! Large selection of dinosaurs ! Including the 7 iguanodonts found in a coal mine in South Belgium !A must-see place for dinos and animals’ lovers! Impressive T-rex in the underground floor!

It was a very interesting museum. The dinosaur skeletons were especially amazing. The museum is huge, so it would take half a day to see it all. The cafe is small for the size of the museum, so it gets crowded.

Amazing place, with lots of scientific discoveries about human and dinosaurs and many other animals

100% must go if you are in Brussels!!! Our three kids were especially blown away by the dinosaur exhibits! For planning purposes, give yourself no less than 2 hours in this amazing museum...any less time you are doing yourself a disservice. Lockers are available onsite for free to store bags, coats, etc. so do worry about what do do with your things if weather is in play or you have follow-on plans. Staff is over the top amazing!

amazing interactive museum, huge spaces, small entrance fee, with children it took us about 3 hours to see or better to say to walk everything, many many exhibits, I did not take so many pictures because I was amazed by exhibitions, very interesting part about human history and about human body, not so many people inside, many toilets available, restaurant inside, free parking in front of the entrance, cons: a little dirty and stinky toilets, small parking lot but we found the place

Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this museum. Would recommend to everyone, young and old. The t-rex Trix exhibition is fantasticccc, what a beautifull girl that is...

Que museu divertido e interessante !! A organização é maravilhosa.

So...this was one of the best experiences in Bruxelles for children! My little one had so much fun - and you can spend hours and hours here. True, it is a little bit difficult for the parents with the mask - we went there in July 2021 but for the children it is an immersive and beautiful experience that they will remember forever definitely. All the exhibits are wonderful, you can get close to them and everything is very nicely visible. Paleo lab - which you have to pay 3 euros more gives your child a gift of being an paleontologist for an hour. Quite recommended!

We went here with out two sons, the older being 3 1/2 and they both really enjoyed themselves. The covid measures are excellent. Only 180 people are allowed to visit per day with allocated time slots. We went on a Wednesday afternoon at 14:30 and basically had the place to ourselves. Every level was practically empty so we coule take our time walking around looking at all the different exhibits. The video walk is fantastic with corresponding animals behind the screen for you to look at. The outside of the building leaves a lot to he desired for but dont be fooled, the inside of it is fantastic and there are disinfectant stationd on every level. I felt very safe together with our sons. I would highly recommend going here for an educational day out.

A good place to visit as a family. It has 3 different parts which you can find intersting. 1 - about human body and evolution. 2 - animals. 3 - relics and dinosaurus. However, you will spend a lot of time. If you will be very tired after 5 hours of walking and looking at stuff - it is a bad place for you but it is still interesting and you can always go back again to explore other parts of exhibition

Come here specially for the . It's very spectacular and popular! A very good place for everyone . At least two hours is recommended. Museum A is very informative, and most dinosaurs are distributed in Museum C . Personally, museum B is a bit boring.

Wonderful museum with 3 different permanent exhibitions: animals, dinosaurs, and humans. Depending on how much time you have you can decide which route to take (there are some easy-to-follow signs on the ground). Overall, the museum is a fun activity for couples or families, especially due to the interactive games (real EduTainment).

An amazing museum for all ages. You could easily spend 3 hours here if you viewed all the exhibits. More if you can read everything. The museum has a lot of interactive exhibits too, which makes it even more fun. If you only go to one museum while in Brussels, I highly recommend the natural sciences museum.

Amazing. It's must visit place. Interesting for all ages, perfect for families. Species from all world and of course dinosaurs. Interesting, educational etc. It's a place where you can return again. Tickets are not expensive (surprisingly).

It is definitely worthy of 7 euros! This museum has been the most friendly in Belgium so far. Almost everything on exhibition has translations of 4 languages, including English. I am especially fond of those simple but interesting interactive games they have designed to illustrate the basic findings of paleontology. Not only kids would be impressed but also middle-aged people like me. I can even imagine how excited my future children would feel when I take them here one day. This museum is quite huge that you are unable to finish your tour within 3 hrs. However, I feel ashamed of my vocabulary. Even though all have English translation, I still have difficulty in understanding professional words‍♂️Such as carboniferous, trilobite, allosaurus... All in all, this is a place of wonder with helpful and nice staffs.

I underestimated the place and thought I could finish the visit in 2 hours. But there's so much to see, I'll spend a whole day some time later. A really insightful exhibition. Loved spending time here.

The third biggest natural science museum in Europe and it took us 4 hours to go round it and still had to leave one section for another day. Lots of beautiful dinosaur fossils to marvel over. Totally recommended.

A great place to visit with children. The building itself - the architecture- is worth seeing. There is a big collection of dinosaurs’ remainings with accompanying explanation. There are ramps and elevators, so wheelchairs and strollers will go there. However, one of the elevators didn’t work when I was there. There is a small cafe and a picnic area where people can it their own food. Clean. I enjoyed a temporary exposition on pingouins and researched in Antarctique, truly breathtaking. For some reasons there is ban on bringing in backpacks, so make sure you carry your staff in something else.

Amazing museum with great expositions, almost everything translated to 4 languages, took a bit more than 3 hours to check everything (possible to go around in 2 if you're not too interested in it), the time and money was totally worth it! Was great to see a lot of full dinosaur skeletons as well as fossils, some special rocks, crystals, even a piece of Moon. Would definitely recommend!

Bart Lo 4 years ago

A lot of dinosaur skeletons and expos if you're a fan. Managed to keep my 3/5 year old busy as well. No parking for the time being so you might want to plan ahead. Also extremely hot inside.

Simona C 4 years ago

The best! One of the biggest and most impressive collection of dinosaurs. The children like it very much and can spend 2-3 hours without getting bored. There are a lot of interactive and educational activities. The human body exhibition is also very good and educational, with explicit images, videos and pieces. I strongly recommend it! And in the first Wednesday of each month there is a free entrance after 13:00.

A very good museum. It's not that big or with a lot of expositions but the ones that they have are really good. The dinosaurs expo is the big deal. Very well organized and with a lot of pieces, is a great place for kids too. The evolution of humankind is unbelievable. Extremely well explained with a lot of content to read. The entrance is 6 euros if you are a student.
